I could listen to Maangchi talk all day and her recipes are so easy and wonderful, I slightly change them and make them all vegetarian though which is easy enough.
I ate these in Myeongdong when we visited last year and I haven’t found anything like it since at home. Thank you for posting this!! I will be making them soon!
I attemtped the recipe, and oh lord! It tasted like a toasted cheese sandwich but a but chewier thanks to the rice cakes. It was really good, and trying it with the condensed milk gave it a whole different flavour!

You can use honey or Maple syrup as well. Just a drizzle. Also just honey with grilled rice cake works well.
