@@qasw287I agree. I’m glad the popularity of psychedelics has at least shoved the idea into the forefront of the popular discussions though. We’re getting there. Personally, psychedelics opened the door to escape the binds of the ego but at great expense (i was a psychological wreck for 1-2 years, tbh most likely due to cannabis usage before and after psychedelics usage though LOL). I absolutely believe psychedelics aren’t necessary though (they cause acute and potent effects, though not usually long term and comprehensively effective). From what I know, journaling, therapy, meditation, that whole ball park, seems to be a good place to begin if one wishes to escape the ego and understand themselves truly and wholly, the natural and complete way.
Exactly Jordan. Where the mind ends, wholeness reigns. There is nothing else that fulfills human life than the ending of the human life of limitation and the return from which we came.
Eren is arguably very similar to Itachi. I recognize that what Eren did is sort of like if Itachi had chosen his clan over the village and slaughtered the village to save his clan, but to me it’s more like Eren was saving his “village” from all of the other villages. Eren is also arguably sort of like Sasuke’s plan post-Kaguya to get everyone to unite against a common enemy (himself) similar to how they did against Madara/Obito. You can say Eren’s methods were wrong but EVEN IF HE FAILED, he saved the people he cared about. If it weren’t for his actions, his people genuinely would have been exterminated. If they took no action their people would have been wiped out, EREN DID NOT START THE WAR. Eren literally waited until they waged war on his people before taking action. Even if he let Zeke do his plan, Zeke would have castrated everyone and prevented their people from continuing their lineage, effectively “kindly genociding” them. Eren’s only mistake honestly was actually fully going through with his plan. He could have showed an extreme show of force without ACTUALLY committing to worldwide genocide and turning his friends against him. He had enough power to force what he wanted to happen if he was willing to be reasonable about things and work with those around him. But he’s a legitimately complex character with complex motives and shouldn’t be grouped with Anakin honestly. Anakin practically turned to the dark side out of a mixture of angst and being down bad. He made a series of poor decisions and then just gave in to his anger unreasonably. Eren wasn’t just “giving into anger”. You can disagree with what he became but he had actual reasons and there was a level of self sacrifice similar to Itachi. Eren similar to Thanos in the sense that to a certain extent he knows what he’s doing is wrong but it has to be done and only he has the strength to do it, but both used their power haphazardly and created too many enemies in the process which ultimately messed up their plan anyways.

The thing about Dr. Peterson is that he's not just an intellectual who read a lot of books. He's actually been there.
And most people won’t get over their own ego and do some self reflecting in order to actually grow 🤷

Thing is he’s not an intellectual nor has he read many books.

Dont be like Arthas, Anakin and Eren, but remember you could be like Illidan, Itachi and Gatsu.

You clearly don't understand then.
Uh normally an abyss has very little or no light. So the metaphor breaks down, especially when you don’t explain what the light is.
