There's one thing you forgot to mention, and that's if you unlock every single character, which for non story related ones you have to get all the minikits in every level, you will unlock the baby rancor, who is just the rancor but minifigure size. That's honestly a better completion bonus than the majority of the console lego games.

This happened to me once when I was replaying the level as a kid and it completely baffled me, but I haven’t seen anyone else online mention it and I’d started to believe I possibly dreamed this scenario.
The pain of soft locking myself multiple times in that version because I was a kid and that was the only version I had... 15 years after the fact and now I have a Vita and a PSP that has the console port.
I'm a little dissapointed that you can only get three Lightsaber colour extras. In the first one, there are loads of saber colours to unlock, including ones that weren't even on any avalible characters such as yellow, purple or black.
I like that this game's soundtrack uses the exact same rendition of the Imperial March and the title theme as the first game, it ties the two games together better. Speaking of the game's music, it's strange that Emperor Palpatine's theme music is only in the first Lego Star Wars, yet the character is only playable in the second. I don't it ever even plays when he's onscreen. You'd think they would reuse it for his boss level.

My friends all had Xboxes by then and I'd hear about Halo 2 matches at school, but I count myself lucky that my childhood was 16-bit games on the GBA. There's something extra-special about games like Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in comparison to Call of Duty.
I STILL have the first LEGO Star Wars for the GameBoy Advance and REALLY enjoyed it. I have Star Wars The Complete Saga for the Nintendo DS. Never knew they made a "sequel" for the Gameboy Advance. FINALLY, getting this game in, "brand new/sealed" and at a reasonable price(considering how much it is to get any type of "retro" game, let alone one that's brand new and sealed nowadays). So looking forward to playing this, considering the ORIGINAL Trilogy is #1, especially "EMPIRE".
This is the first game I ever 100% completed, and the grinding was absurd. I grinded the last level where you kill the emperor so many times that I could do it blindfolded. The completion % maxes out at 99 though which was really disappointing.
considering how slow the turning of the vehicles are in the console release anyways, i would have preferred a rotation/tank controls option for the vehicles. it always felt really janky and somehow harder to control when the direction i have to push to do a backflip is changing all the time.
I remember this beautiful gem, it was my first gba game also. My dad took me yo best buy on my bday and told me to get a gba and whatever game amd I remember seeing king kong which i also wanted but i was a huge star wars fan back then (kinda al still) so i picked lego star wars 2 and i spent all day playing it good times… Months later id get GTA Advance and loved it if your a fan of something more likely you wont care how they look.
