Botw, super smash bros, fire emblem three houses, animal crossing new horizons, Mario 3d world (haven’t played it yet but want to), splatoon 3, tears of the kingdom That’s my list and gives you a balance of different genres
That’s fair. I personally wanted to recommend a Pokémon game in the list for anyone new to Nintendo, but 2019 also had quite a handful of notable games. Those choices are solid, so I imagine a lot of lists based on the restrictions laid out would go for the other games.
I don't care how long it takes, I will never demand Nintendo to reveal (let alone release) the next Nintendo system, considering the Nintendo Switch is still selling really well and actually has significantly better graphics & processing-power than the Xbox 360 & PS3 combined, contrary to popular-belief! And besides, at least the Nintendo Switch being a generation behind (or two) actually gives the players (a) good reason(s) to buy a modern PlayStation or Xbox, because Nintendo makes far more noticeable first-party games that draws the attention to so many gamer's eyes, while if Graphics & Power really means that much to gamers, then they could just buy PlayStations and Xboxes specifically for third-party titles, it should really be a win-win situation for both worlds! But sadly... Anyway, I honestly hope that IF there will be another new Nintendo system, I hope that it will release the same year as the PlayStation 6 and Xbox Platform (most likely Holiday 2028), because I really want Nintendo not to rush their next hardware so they can make sure it can keep up with PS5 & XBS hardware for third-party's sake, but I'm not trying to contradict myself, just explaining why Nintendo should delay their next system until it is fully polished and ready to impress the next level of technology in video-games (especially handhelds, which will probably be Nintendo's only type of system nowadays, as the Switch is actually a portable system that just happens to be connectable to the TV with multiple controllers for several players to participate in the game). Sorry if this comment was too long 😅
Am I the only one that likes Breath of the Wild more than TotK? TotK annoys me in a lot of ways. Quite a few of the tech stuff feels like it doesn't belong In Zelda, the enemies are stronger, and subpar combat mechanics make it a chore. I could go on, but you get the point. It just feels like a worse BotW to me.
Interesting to see Lego City Undercover, though if we are talking about 1st party Nintendo games, Lego City Undercover and Tony Hawk would not be eligible for this type of list since they are on other consoles.
My top 7 in no particular order: BOTW, TOTK, mario odessey, smash ultimate, links awekening, mario wonder, metroid dread. But if i had to pick number 1, it would be botw
Can’t even argue with two Zelda games on a list like this. The only issue would probably be that BOTW and Odyssey are from the same year, just like TOTK and Wonder. If you had to limit it to one game per year, I’m curious what your choices would be 👀
Brooo you lost me at Pokemon Shield.

2019 Pick is awful. Luigi Mansion 3, Fire Emblem 3 Houses or Links Awakening blow it out of the water

Cool video. I would have added Lego City Undercover, Yoshis Crafted World and Tony Hawk 1 and 2 remake.
💀what? lego city undercover
