yes very nice. me as a person who is terrified of flying felt so comfortable and it was such a nice cabin crew! and lots of legroom in the A320 too :)
No please dont fly with them there service is okay and all but when I arrived in Paris *THEY SAID THEY LOST MY LUGGAGE IN WASHINGTON DC* they said my luggage will be brought the next day BUT DAMN FRED told lies and didnt get it till one week

That particular aircraft (OO-SFM) is one of the first A330s manufactured (1993), having been delivered to Air Inter back in 1994. It is really nice to see that SN keeps it in tip top shape, with an updated cabin. Chapeau!

That 2-4-2 config is just so generous for economy class 😃
It's the standard a330/340 configuration. 3-3-3- is the high density.
Brussel Airlines offered some great faires to New York in the last months. I almost booked a flight in Economy as well. I might book one for next year after seeing your great video. Thanks for sharing the experience :)

I booked a direct flight for 340 euros for 10 days. Their pricing is amazing. They need to work on their food tho.

Nice flight report! I once flew long haul with them to Mumbai from Brussels. I took Priviledge economy class. They were fab. Offered me a glass of Sparkling wine as welcome drink. a small box of Belgian chocolates..nice food, plenty of leg space. Flew short haul flights with them more than few times. Never a problem.
Food actually looked really good and tasty for a change in economy class. Nice report David.
It's not.. I vomited hours after my flight back to New York the chicken was so bland..

The last time I took a subway in NYC was the time when the subway had a family of 4 living in a corner and what looked like a dead person under the seats...

That meal looked pretty nice by plane standards, which is obviously good. The seats look pretty comfy too. Good thing the medical issue got sorted and you didn’t have to divert to some random airfield in Canada!

I felt very nostalgic when I saw the beginning. Man I do miss NYC and riding the subway.
The cabin looks nice. The screens are the new version and there is a cup holder which I wish was on more aircraft. Great video. Can’t wait for more trip reports or the news.

Looks like a comfortable trip. The dinner was great, and though the breakfast snack was unimpressive it was not terribly necessary on a flight of this length.

Nice flight report. I have flown Brussels airlines short trips in Europe. All pleasant flights. But once I flew with them Brussels to Mumbai, with A330, 2-4-2 configuration. The flight took off excatly in time. You could pay a little extra and take Economy previledge with little more extra leg room, more incline, a welcome drink ( it was a sparkling wine), and a box of Belgian chocolates. Food as same as economy, but was great! Crew were friendly, helpful. Return flight same as well.
I think that an Alitalia video would be great !
omg thank you so much for this video! I'm flying to NY (and back) from Brussels with Brussels Airlines in October and I haven't been on a plane in 16 years! Been looking up photo's and videos and everything to try and put my mind at ease because I'm terrified of flying and this is a perfect video!! Has definitely helped give me a decent idea of what it will be like!

I was wondering, how do you know the registration of the aircraft that will take you to your destination before booking the ticket ? For example if somebody wants to fly with a B757 with a certain registration, for example Icelandair's Aurora Borealis livery, how can he know where this plane will fly and when so that he'll buy the ticket ? Thank you

You do know you can take the subway to Howard Beach station and take the airport train into JFK. Howard Beach is much more closer than Jamaica
