I'm preparing the big old fireplace so that I can install the stove underneath. Then there are various transition points and edges that I have to fill with lime mortar. In between, I start carrying large stones to the front of the house to build the retaining wall for the future terrace. The wooden ceiling is treated with linseed oil. I provisionally sand the top of the old wooden table. And behind the house, against the rock, I build a temporary rain roof with slats and plastic sheeting; later I will cover it with corrugated iron to protect the house from flooding in the future when it rains heavily.
Looks so great! Can’t wait to see the stove installed.

Ciao Fausto, sì, lo so che passi regolarmente. Molto bello! Ho oliato il soffitto in legno con puro olio di lino... Sono un po' sorpreso che il legno poi diventi molto scuro. Ma ormai ci sono abituato. Saluti!
@@christophfelix sicuramente e perché il castagno e molto datato!si vede. per me e ultracentenario.. quindi a avuto il tempo di stagionare e con l olio di lino diventa molto scuro...(A me piace molto il colore così scuro,con la pietra a vista e bellissimo) Buon proseguimento lavori! Un saluto 🙂
