I love making these pillow cases they are so fun and easy!
I was so excited when I saw this video pop up! I just finished making pillowcases using the burrito method, but wanted to know how to make king size ones…..and now I know. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It’s amazing how this method works…to me, it’s magic every time. Blessings and take care.
It is magic! I love it!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I always use the burrito method for pillowcases but needed a larger measurement for bigger cases. Thank you! Happy stitching.
Thanks so much for the sewing videos! Love the stitching ones too, but as a beginner sewist, really appreciate the content!
You’re so welcome!
Thanks, that looks so easy. I'll be making fun pillow cases for my grandkids.

Very helpful..I think I would have used the long ruler instead of the square one moving it.. But nice to have measurements for king size case

Thank you for sharing the pillowcases tutorial with us they came out adorable 😊 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you!!
I just found your channel today and have watched several when I came across this video on the pillowcases. I have made lots of them for my mother using crepe backed satin fabrics of various colors. This method is such a surprise every time I do it because it always works perfectly. I have never made king-sized ones so I was interested in the cutting sizes for this. I love your fabrics, they are so happy and festive. This will make your entire bedroom all Christmas-y too! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas with us!
Great tutorial! Your pillowcases are so cute!!
Thank you!
This was great!!! Thank you. 😊
Love your videos! I'm waiting for your tutorial on making the cross stich folio you mentioned several videos ago lol
So cute! Thank you. Great video
Thank you!
I am obsessed with those pillow cases. They came out great and I must try. BTW- I love when you guys make mistakes on film (Kimberly at FQS does it often). I find I learn so much from how you guys fix or work around an error. So keep making mistakes. LOL! Happy Holidays!
lol Oh i'm sure it'll happen again!
Nice job! Thank you for sharing.
The "Burrito" method is genius! You make it look so easy and such fun fabric. When you put your top sheet on the bed, if you place the right side of the fabric facing the mattress, when you fold over the top sheet, your pretty sheet fabric will be facing you! Happy sewing and stitching 💚🪡
Thanks, Liz!
Wonderful video making a pillow cases. Stay safe. Walk in Peace.
I was actually kind of glad to see you made that error…. because I feel better with errors I make! Is that wrong? 😂 Always feel everyone else is perfect!❤
not wrong at all 😂 i get annoyed at that mistake every christmas now when I'm putting those pillow cases on, one is just a LITTLE too tight
Great job!
Thank you!
So cute! What are the odds that you could find Christmas/octopus fabric?!?😂
I know!! Ruby Star has done octopus prints before but I LOVE that they made it christmassy!
Being that the cuff is 8.5, could you have made the trim a full 2" ?
The trim doesn’t add any length to the pillow case, it’s just decorative! If I hadn’t already cut out my main piece I could’ve lengthened that by an inxh
@@elizabethanncanstitch Oh, gotcha ... thanks for the tutorial, I'm gonna make us Christmas pillowcases now! :)
Would you please tell me how much fabric to buy for the king size, queen size, reg size and travel size pillow. Thanks
Do not cut it at 17 1/2 a king pillow is 20” wide I did this and it was two small!
Oh great-I just cut mine at 17 1/2” wide!
It’s ok, simply grab a pillow from your bed and see what works best for you. I’m sure you’ll be okay 👍
