Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer has the exact same ingredients as the Cetaphil Moisturizer you mentioned. The Differin product is cheaper and contains more product. Differin and Cetaphil are both owned by Galderma.
To a point. Allantoin is much higher on the ingredient list on the Cetaphil night cream than on the Differin so a higher percentage and the order of other ingredients changes after the vitamin E(tocopherol).
One add-on about the cosrz snail mucin is that a tiny bit can cover your whole face so the jar lasts FOREVER. I know it's a higher price point than the drugstore options but I swear you'll have it 5x as long
Drmtolgy night peptide cream, IT confidence in a cream, skinfix triple lipid, naturium plant rich moisture cream, biossance squalane omega repair are all in current rotation right now. For reference I'm 60 years wise, mature normal to dry skin. Thanks for your recommendations!
I love love love love the Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer, It's a holy grail product that I will always have. I bought it on a whim (need a moisturizer to replace the one I ran out of) completely expecting to hate it. Boy was I wrong and surprised, I immediately bought two more tube a couple days later. It's such an underrated product, I wish it got more love and attention. that why I get so excited when people talk about it, anyways thanks for spreading the word, and i can't way to try the DRMTLGY peptide moisturizer.
Same here! And every time I use it I'm endlessly surprised at how fantastic it is! I also love the fact that it's not super thick so I can even wear it during the day. I'd use this even if I didn't have rosacea, but it's definitely the bomb if you do have it. 💜💜💜
So many creams made my skin burn. Most of the CeraVe products, even the cleanser. Your “sandwich” method has saved me! Now I put CereVe healing ointment on as a final step at night and even a little in the morning and my skin barrier is awesome and fully restored. Thank you!
I’m always on the lookout for a good moisturizer that’s nourishing and budget friendly. I appreciate all the effort and time you put into making these videos. Thank you for the recommendations too🥰♥️
Abbey, I am not in your age range, but I just love your videos. I appreciate how you breakdown the information and take the time to detail it under your video. Happy Holidays.
I love French pharmacy faves- Vichy Liftactive Supreme at night, LaRoche Posay Toleraine Double Repair Moisturizer SPF 30 for day, and on Sunday nights I go simple, no actives, and slather on Embryolisse. Vichy has a peptide moisturizer I may try when my current Liftactive Supreme is finished. Avene also has great products- Hydrance is a wonderful lightweight moisturizer!
ELF Holy Hydration is my go to night cream. I've been looking for a new daytime moisturizer. Thanks for some direction on my search! Keep the videos coming! 👍👍
Hi Abbey, Thank you for the round-up of your favourite moisturizers. The one's that interested me the most is Cetaphil for the morning time and the Dermatology Peptide, I will also use your link in the description box which helps so much. Thank you 💕!
My favourite moisturizers are Alba Hawaiian jasmine & vitamin e moisture cream for night, Alba aloe & green tea (oil free) for day under makeup, and ELF Holy Hydration here and there when I need extra moisture. I want to try the cetaphil for the body.
Hi Abby. I love watching your videos because you always sample the products on yourself, so the viewers can actually see the results. Many people don't do this in their videos, which is not helpful. You go fully in depth with products, which is very helpful as well. I've purchased many products after watching your reviews on them. Great job!
I'm currently just started using the trader joes ultra hydrating gel mositurizer with aloe and green tea extract. It has a nice looking ingredient list and is fragrance free.
I have that one right now, it’s pretty decent if you need a super light moisturizer. It’s supposed to be a dupe of Clinique Moisture Surge. Clinique is more hydrating from what I can tell but since I’m oily and it gets really humid here I think it’ll be fine.
Love the vanicream lotion, really great for my oily/combo.skin. Just ordered the Cosrx cream during their flash sale for $9.99. Can't wait to use it now after watching your video! I adore their snail mucin essence.
Thanks to you I got the elf happy hydration cream and I absolutely love it. I had been using the holy hydration cream, but I like this one even more. So excited to try the COSRX and DRMTLGY creams though! Honestly I think I'm addicted to trying new moisturizers!
I wonder if the blue African daisy is the same thing they make arnica gel out of…if so arnica is anti inflammatory, can reduce swilling and bruising on injuries so I’m guessing it helps reduce puffiness and redness in the skin. 🤷🏻♀️
Perfect timing for these recs, thank you. I do love my Beauty Counter Countermatch recovery sleeping cream, but I’m looking to supplement with a good affordable option for my sensitive skin.
We literally have the same moisturizer favorites. With the expectation of the last one you mentioned. Great list!! Cetaphil redness is still bae over the rest lol !!
I loved the texture of the Vanicream lotion and how it wears under makeup, but it made me break out terribly after about 4 weeks of use... I'm trying the Ceramedx Facial Lotion right now. I like it so far
Omg me too!!! I used to use the tub for cerave but it made me itchy so then I went to vanicream and I felt like it gave me small pimples so now I’m thinking abt going back to cerave but the lotion or the Pm one lmk how it went for you!
Nuetrogena gel / TO moisturizer / peach & lily. I think one of the things I’m common with all of these are a little goes a long way and feels moisturizing instead of sitting on top (for my skin at least)
Dr. Dray is great she uses cheap products and is a dermatologist with a master degree on skin. She comes on everyday on you tube…I love her and she has never steered me wrong..
Great video, I really enjoyed it. In videos like these, I find it helpful when the products are ranked by texture, like thinnest to thickest. It helps me know if a product is right for my skin
I love the cetaphil redness relief daytime. It only has spf 20 so I do wear spf under it, but it’s got a really nice tint that evens out your skin. And hey, I’ll take the extra spf 20 to my normal 50, can’t hurt, right?!!
Thanks for the video! My favourite moisturizer is the Fulvic Cream from Victoria's Health. I buy it in the UK but I believe they ship internationally. It is really hydrating without being clogging. A wonderful product!
My favorite winter moisturizer is Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Repair moisturizer. A big help with my winter tretinoin flakiness is The Ordinary Squalane serum. I don't like using jars, I prefer tubes or pumps.
So glad you posted this! I’ve been looking for a good moisturizer. The ones I’m using keep pilling and it drives me crazy!! Thanks so much for the recommendations! 💜
That Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night Moisturizer...pretty sure this will be my ride or die. I use it day and/or night. Can't believe how nice it is!!!
Just like you when everything else burns my skin, the Vanicream cleanser, cream, and the Cetaphil Redness Relief comes to the rescue. I have tried La Roche Posay Toleraine, Cica Baum, Skinfix, First Aid Beauty, Avene Tolerance, CeraVe cream, none of these soothed my skin and some caused more burning and sting.
Hi Abbey! Those are great recommendations, been using Vanicream too and I must say it is truly amazing for sensitive-combo skin, even during colder winter months. Have you tried Ceramedx soothing lotion? - many compare it with this Vanicream moisturizer. For me, the best moisturizer that I've discovered this year is Aveeno Oat Gel cream - perfect for anyone with sensitive skin that are looking for fragrance free, lightweight yet hydrating cream.
Incredible and confused. I finally got mine from iherb. I used the Cetaphil lotion face and body and it burned my face after a few days. This redness relief one is a totally different story. It feels like a luxury brand.
Hey Abbey, hopefully you'll see this 😜I'm just worried about the jar format of some the moisturizers you recommend~I thought active ingredients degrade when exposed to air; there's also the risk of contamination from dipping fingers into it (although if they're clean prob not an issue). What's your take on these 2 points? Love your videos, thanks for the great info!☮
I bought the Drmtlgy peptide cream and it did break me out really bad. I was so disappointed, I wish skincare companies would avoid comedogenic ingredients completely
Great video Abbey! The DRMTLGY and Vanicream are some of my favorite creams. The Vanicream in particular is excellent for my adapalene nights. I have a sample of the Cosrx and will give it a try soon. Thanks for reviewing.
You know I feel like whenever I watch videos like this I have to remember just because it doesn't work well for her skin doesn't mean it won't work for mine. Everyone's skin is different and sadly mine is very very sensitive and I've realized I'm allergic to one ingredient that's in bodywash and certain acne creams so I have to be careful what I use but the problem is I don't know exactly what ingredient it is that I'm allergic to. If anyone has any ideas what I could do I'd appreciate it.
Abbey what is the difference between the cetaphil redness relieving night cream and cetaphil redness relieving night moisturizer and do you also recommend the night cream?
Thank you for such informative videos Abbey! Regarding the Cetaphil Redness Relief night cream, can we use the with The Ordinary Buffet Copper Peptide serum? Does it have any conflicting ingredients? Thank you!
I live in New Zealand and I can't find either of the Cetaphil moisturisers but the hydrating one I think might be repackaged in my country as Optimal Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream as opposed to Deep Hydration Healthy Glow Daily Cream. It has the same packaging. No idea why they do this? It's so confusing lol.
In the morning I use Cerave PM facial moisturizing lotion (ultra lightweight) and in the evening I use Cetaphil Healthy Glow Daily Cream that you mentioned in this video. I love both but I am VERY interested in the Cetaphil redness relief moisturizer that you mentioned first. Maybe it’s a good one to introduce as we approach winter and dry skin season? I’ll have to check it out!
Any suggestions for what to layer over the COSRX? Looking for budget options, since the cosrx is pricey. I haven’t ventured into body lotions on the face, but I would if the combo was right for my sensitive/combo skin.
Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer has the exact same ingredients as the Cetaphil Moisturizer you mentioned. The Differin product is cheaper and contains more product. Differin and Cetaphil are both owned by Galderma.

@@joanneexume3655 yes. It’s the same. So glad as it is cheaper for more product. My holy grail for everyday moisturizer.

@@joanneexume3655 The Differin moisturizer never makes me feel like I'm applying a cloud to my face. The texture is pretty basic.
it isn’t the exact same
One add-on about the cosrz snail mucin is that a tiny bit can cover your whole face so the jar lasts FOREVER. I know it's a higher price point than the drugstore options but I swear you'll have it 5x as long
I was gonna grab some at Ulta while they are doing 20% off but it's out of stock 😩 bummer

Putting pillows and clouds on the skin is such a great description for that cream! ☁️💙

100% agree. If more people knew about it, there wouldn’t be any left for us lol. Just kidding. Everyone should try it!
I love it too! I hope they don’t ever stop making it.
what’s ur skin type, i have oily dehydrated skin and was wondering about using this as a night time moisturizer
Vanicream is my favorite moisturizer. Their cleanser is also great!
So many creams made my skin burn. Most of the CeraVe products, even the cleanser. Your “sandwich” method has saved me! Now I put CereVe healing ointment on as a final step at night and even a little in the morning and my skin barrier is awesome and fully restored. Thank you!

I’m so happy you approved of the COSRX I picked it up a few months ago & it transformed my skin!
I really want to try the Cetaphil redness relieving moisturiser for my super dry skin! The ingredients look amazing! 😍🙌🏻

I agree so much with your picks . . . but may I add Ceramedx Facial Lotion too - please? 😀😀
Yes, that one's nice!
The 2nd Cetaphil moisturizer looks similar in constancy to the Belif moisture bomb🥰🤔 I'm definitely going to have to try this one.
I wish the cetaphil redness relief night cream was more emollient. But I do use it in the morning to depuff my eyes!
