Both iPads are iPad Pros - original 9.7 and the 2020 12.9. The 9.7 is mainly just used to try out/test latest beta software updates and often is simply used to play music whilst working via the dual HomePod mini’s hidden behind each iPad, or as a clock using the Fliqlo app. The 12.9 is my daily use iPad and I do tend to use that with Universal Control with the 2020 M1 MacBook Pro - currently hidden just behind the Studio Display until I can get an under desk mounting bracket. Keep up the great videos, Tom!
For me this guy is a beast in beautiful colorful presentations ❤ . My eyes forgets to blink seing such beautiful way of presenting things in all his videos. God gifted talent of creativity ❤ Its not about expensive cameras and gears, its about creativity talent inside you. Your videos are so nice & relaxing to watch and you explain it so beautifully as well.
Really liked this video! Would love to see a series? Maybe encourage people to show their entire spaces too, really enjoyed your subtle notes on wall art and displays. Keep making things you awesome human!
I made the cut haha nice! I change up my mice quite often depending on the theme aesthetic and colour scheme I'm going for. I've got a Razer, Logitech and Apple magic mouse, as well as apples magic keyboard plus a few RGB gaming keyboards. I just have to have my accessories match the aesthetic I'm going for at any given time that includes matching the wallpaper and desk lighting. Thanks again for the feature mate ☺️
Cool video, comments on point, even some recomendations, and a smart photo/webcam layout. Would love you to make it into a series, really inspiring. Speaking of portable keyboard and a mouse from Logi in some of the setups - I've myself also been a fan of these for a while. K380 and Pebble Mouse. They can be connected to multiple devices and quickly reconnect to either of them by 1-3 buttons in the left. Personally, I use an iPad on the side, and by pressing buttons on the mouse and the keyboard, connect to the iPad. They're also very portable to take in a backpack, but the leading factor for buying these was the price - they're surprisingly affordable and you get a lot from the cheap price you pay.
The keyboard exodus boy uses looks like a K380. Inexpensive but really good. Been using mine for a year and you can switch between 3 devices real quick, which is useful if you don’t use universal control. The mouse Aadam uses looks like a Logitech Pebble. I’ve been using that as well and have had no issues with cramping or anything. Overall nice setups!
As always, great content. I hope there is more of this, hope there is more people out there that are using their iPad are main setups or really integrated on their MacBook or iMac setup. Just to share some feedback, I'd ask for multiple shots, where the peripherals and accessories can be well seen and a list of what's in the picture, so you can have more info when talking about the setup.
This is a nice idea for a series, I watch a few people who review gaming set ups but I'm liking this change, setups that feature iPads. Would love to see more, giving me inspiration! Maybe ask the sender's to list the specs of their gear (e.g 27" Monitor, iPad Air) Thanks for the video
Hi Mate, great vids and helpful. How do you go with scanning images. I am having trouble finding a flatbed scanner that will work with an iPad. We are trying to digitise a whole lot of family photos?
Thanks for this. I really enjoyed watching it. As you mentioned, I am running in mirrored mode, although I’m green-lit for the M2 model this month (hopefully). And the trackball? I just like not having to push a mouse around a desk (and it gives me more space!). Love your work, and looking forward to more of these vids in the future as well.
Liked the video, I‘m looking forward to seeing some more content like this 😉 I totally understand the choice of the logitech pebble (the small/tiny mouse), I enjoy it for being this portable and use it when I’m at school. At my home desk I use a bigger mouse, I believe it’s the logi M705 as it is more comfortable when using it all day.
saw your tweet but unfortunately my desk is just too cluttered for me to send you a desk set up haha. watching your desk set ups allows me to live vicariously through your videos so thats good enough for me!!
Great content, although they all put my setup to shame (functional but the wiring is a rat's nest). I have one of those Logitech Pebbles and it's surprisingly comfortable to use, even with my big hands. I use it with my old MBP when I travel.
Great Video as always! I love these kind of videos and would like to see more of them in the future! Maybe next time not only iPad setups, even though it was refreshing to see more iPad-related desk setups instead of just "normal" setups :D
Tom Loved you to see you in a new T-Shirt & Beanie, you're looking Smoking Hot!, The iPad Setups are really inspiring, you're take on those setups is intriguing.
The desk setup is a worthwhile guide as I try to be more efficient at home. I'd really be interested in knowing how people use their iPad for productivity - real work, not just games.
Great video as always! Thank you so much for featuring my desk (This is solomon here!) and I'm glad that you like it! Regarding of the display, it is a 23" apple cinema display and it is definitely quite old and connecting it a modern mac needs quite a few adapters. But overall I really like the retro apple design (suits the vibe that I'm going for), the resolution and image quality might not be as good as modern monitors, but it still holds up very well (albeit with a warmer colour tone, can be adjusted with macos tho). The screen size is good for me and I use it for creative work as well (ps, lr, pr) and it works well! I have a vlog of me setting my desk up with this particular monitor on my channel, feel free to check it out! (ruclips.net/video/w_7hga87VwY/видео.html) For the iPad it is actually the 1st gen ipad pro 11 with the smart folio! Works seemlessly with universal control, and as apple recently put stage monitor to non m1 ipads as well, I can't wait to try that out when iPadOS 16 finally rolls out! The audio stuff under the monitor is an amp and dac for audio! Thank you so much Tom for featuring my setup! Enjoy your content as always!
most of those set up arent really even “Ipad” desk set up. Their desk is showing ipads, but the monitor screens are showing mac os. It is like their adding ipad for the heck of it and call it a day… l
Look mom! I'm on Byte Review channel! Happy you liked my setup :)

@@ByteReview no, no… thank you for all the great content and for featuring my setup! Have a great one, Tom!
Oop I see me 💜
Thanks for taking part!
Can you help with the name of the screensaver? Also, special thanks to Tom for introducing Kristin :)
Thank you for the kind words! Also it’s a 12.9 iPad. Have to have all that extra space. 😄
I thought it was in the end! Cheers Chris!

Thanks for the submission! And ahh that makes sense!
Great for sharing love with Christopher. He is a pro and I enjoy both of your channels. I am glad you both went over 100k subs here :) I am a big fan.
A pleasant way to start the morning. Nothing beats aesthetics in desk setups imo!
Agreed!
Love it! Nice to see other people’s setups.

Thank yoooou!
I loved this video, hope you do more and it would be great if you did PC setup reviews as well and not only iPad.
Yeah! My desk setup is there! Greetings from Mexico!
Thanks for sending it in!
finally been waiting for this since 2020 :)

Glad you like it! And yep, I will be doing that for next time!
only thing i would do is set to display one if its inside and not on the move? it'll always revert back to its normal screen size when out
Hi Mate, great vids and helpful.
How do you go with scanning images. I am having trouble finding a flatbed scanner that will work with an iPad.
We are trying to digitise a whole lot of family photos?
Oh I missed submitting mine. Is there any chance that your gonna do another setup video like that ?

Great to see how your channel has grown. Nearly at 100k!!!! But where oh where was your feline friend?
Great video as always, have a lovely week.
Thanks! and yep, pushing like mad to get to 100k! haha. Pocky wasn't around when I was filming, sadly!

Nice video 🍙 I love your aesthetic and I wish I can work iPad only like Chris someday
One day we all will be able to!
6:25 Is that wallpaper functional? Would like to get one.
Great content, although they all put my setup to shame (functional but the wiring is a rat's nest). I have one of those Logitech Pebbles and it's surprisingly comfortable to use, even with my big hands. I use it with my old MBP when I travel.
11:24 Love that setup. Can somebody tell me what headphones these are? They look really fancy 👍
Headphones are Koss porta pro and modded Grado sr80!
This is great!
☺️
Great video idea!
Thank you! I’d love to take credit for it but there’s a few others out there too 😅
@@ByteReview Well, maybe the idea wasn’t yours but that’s okay. It was well executed 👌🏼 it really needs a part 2
@@sampell8443 Part 2 will defo come 🙏🏻
James May “The” Captain Slow??
🤣 sadly not
I’m just as boring though. Ask my friends! 😂
Was the second one a render? It doesn’t look real but if it is that some cool photography
They’re all real!
Pretty sure it's a render. The plants give it away lol.
6:24 where can i get this lockscreen??

ahhh thank you! Lets see how it does :)

Love to see p&co getting repped
Love their stuff!
Always interesting to see the accessories and peripherals that are so beloved that everyone seems to have them. #mxmastergang
SO many of us using them! Great mouses tbf

“I’ve never seen anyone with two iPads before” *has 2 ipads*
If you knew how many I have you’d want to cry 😅 I meant I’ve never seen them used as a combo before
but nonetheless its great that you include your followers/viewers in your videos ! way to go for inclusiveness
Really cool setups and nice to hear your thoughts. I hope we get iPadOS 16 with external monitor support soon.
They said this video would never happen, but look at us here finally getting a new Byte Review video. Happy Thursday 🎉
