New Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/GAEEK00084
The timing belt ensures that the crankshaft and cam shafts are rotating in sync with each other, ensuring the engine is running properly. In some applications, the water pump is also driven by the timing belt, meaning both should be replaced at the same time! This video shows you how to install a new water pump and timing belt kit on your 1998-2002 Honda Accord.

Question: About how much money does it cost for labor ?
PS : I buy my own parts.

Best car installation video ever. I need to do timing/water pump job on 2001 Accord v6 but don't know anything about it. This gives me the process and parts needed for the job. Looks to be a major job.

17:15 for anyone wondering you can apparently use your battery mounting bolt (Long thread rod that's bent to hold your battery down) as the bolt that goes into this ear. I have not tested this but saw it in a service guide diagram

A lil off topic here: what kind of camera was used in this video. The resolution is amazing. This is one of the sharpest, cleanest RUclips videos I've seen.

Your a good mechanic. For those who are doing this at home it's a good idea to wire wheel those corroded bolts back to clean metal and hit them with a spritz of wd-40.

Those foreign vehicles like this is one. Is lot of major labor. This is one puzzle that may take a couple of days to do. American cars don't have this much stuff to take off just to replace one part. This video is a big big big help

Great video! It was exactly what I needed. However it was much more work than it looked on camera. Now I see why it's so expensive at the shop. Transverse engines like this are so hard to work on

Such a great video. The only thing that I didn't see you do was to refill the power steering pump reservoir, however perhaps not enough leaked out to necessitate this. Great job!

I have a 02 Accord that is a 3.0 and it has two serpentine belts. The belt on the inside crank pulley drives the power steering pump. The other belt drives the AC and alternator. How would you take off the belt for the power steering pump when it doesn't have a tensioner? Thanks in advance
