Thanks for making the video. I too have a 02 Accord V6 that has a cracked shock/spring absorbing bushing in both front lower control arms. The key for this process is to remove the rear transmission mount just so there will be enough room to pull out that inner bolt that goes into the subframe. Greatly appreciated for sharing the tips.
Idk if when I hit a curb if the subframe on that side bent but the holes for the radius arm and the lower control arm don't match. Their way off... how do I fix this
What is the name of the bold you took out before the sway bar links ?I’ve been trying to find that bold but I can’t find it anywhere for my 01 Honda Accord v6
You may have to use a punch or screwdriver to knock that indented area on the axle nut back out (Some impacts are not strong enough to just take the nut without doing this). This will allow the nut to spin. If it is really rusted on, spray it with penetrating oil and let it soak a while then use a breaker bar with a long cheater pipe break it free.
a rusty/crusty car WITHOUT IMPACT tools make this job a fucking nightmare.. lots and lots of PB blaster, heat, etc. anticipate having to cut some of these bolts. #honda make sure when you do this, you torque the arm to the subframe AND the strut fork under load or you'll destroy the bushings fast and will have to go through this all over again. do this all correctly and you'll get 100k mi out of each arm.
F minus for not saying WHICH front lower control arm. LF vs RF is VASTLY different!! This is LF! Yeesh... For LF needs this is excellent. Please be specific.

This is NOT a job I want to do myself now. Great detailed video!
Awesome videos as always ! Thanks for thorough walk-through of the processes !
Super helpful. Any chance we can get one for the rear suspension too?
Do you have to realign the tires if you dont remove the fork?

Thank you!
Is that same transmission mount or something else in the way on the 2.3L? This is a V6 model so the motor and transmission have swapped places
Badass. Thanks.
Any tips for getting the axle nut off when it doesnt want to come off?

When I try jacking up my car , the wheel stays on the ground , is it because of my control arm?
Way to much 4 that job
