This is what I needed to pull the trigger on a Vomero, excited to give it a shot as I've been looking for a new daily shoe just to plog along in. I tried the 1080v13 but I just could not deal with how sinky soft it is

Thanks for the note on volume. I have high arches and super-wide feet (toebox, midfoot).

Which shoe do you find the best for high arches?

@@adriana4972 I can wear the 1080v12 and Fresh Foam More v3 without sizing up. I have to size up in the 880v12 and 1080v10. I suspect that the 1080v13 is TTS which means that I'll have to size up if I buy it. I have to size up on most 4E shoes to get enough midfoot volume and width.

I’ve bought the 1080 but I’m not sure about this shoe. I use to run with more light weight trainers like NB Fresh Foam Tempo or Saucony Kinvary. I also like the ToPo Cyclone 2. I thought it might be useful to have a “more shoe” shoe and went for the 1080…

Great review, I have the Vomero 16 but I get annoying foot slapping.. Is it the same geometry in the 17?

I was able to pick up the pace in the Nb 1080v13. Only done 1 run so far but ended up around 4.40 /km which is getting close to marathon pace for me.

can the vomero do easy/recovery runs really well?

I tried NB1080 v13 in-store. It is bouncy but has a very narrow toe box. For a daily trainer/long distance trainer, pick a pair that is comfortable to your feet. Big no no to me after I wear Altra as my daily walking shoes.

Vomero for running and 1080 for walking or just all day comfort.

@@jnavarro13 the vomeros have the same cushioning as the invincibles so I think it’s better for long runs imo. I think the 1080 can be used for running too but I feel a lot slower

Think I’ll get the vomero for running and the new balance 1080 for walking if my budget can handle it 🤔

Soon as i stepped in 1080v13 I was so off balance from the squish i fell backwards. So immediately no on 1080!

@io-rj6sk I actually have already incorporated that with my strength work. I was not prepared for such unstable squish, it caught me off guard but since I'm not there, 1080v13 would not be a good choice for me.
