Not an uncommon occurrence in this industry. Games take years to develop, and a lot naturally changes between the initial concept and the final product, and delays are common for any number of reasons. And I don’t imagine studios and publishers make a habit of coordinating their release dates with their competitors.
I’m not bothered by it either. I know I’m playing both anyway. One thing did occur to me to me though. 30th January 2025 will be the tenth year anniversary of when the first episode of Life is Strange released. I don’t know if Don’t Nod is looking at a release date close to that symbolic date, or if they’ll be looking for an late February to March date because of it.
