This game is something special, it's hands down the best plot i know and i kinda read russian classics and all that. The imagery is just outside of this world, sometimes it feels like 1000 years old schizophrenic made it: too deep and accurate on some level i don't understand

Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me. Life sometimes kicks you harder than usual and getting up seems impossible.

literally the only type of sound i can study to i tried white noise and brow noise and all other type of sounds and i cant focus but this is so effective i can repeat this song like 3 to 4 times in one study session and its as if im in complete silence with no loud noise around me

Life is Strange, despite being a game with many, many flaws, will always be important to me. Seeing past some of the awkward dialogue or odd plot points and you'll find a story, atmosphere, and feeling simply unlike anything I've seen yet. Arcadia Bay is still one of my favorite video game settings, primarily because of the slow, calming mood it envokes despite all that happens in its borders. Part of that is because of how this amazing soundtrack was used to paint a landscape that became a character just as much as Max and Chloe did
Exactly how I feel. I know there’s plenty of places where the game could be better and I see why some people may not like it but it’s never really negatively affected the experience for me. It’s so so close to my heart to this day and I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like it. I’m getting emotional now🥺
@@AlanTalker We did, and we can't ignore the fact that the game can be really clunky with some awkward and cringy dialogue scenes, the expressionless faces on the characters in some cutscenes also seem kinda weird. Having said that, I love this game and have finished it a couple of times already, the atmosphere of Arcadia Bay is one of the best I've ever seen in a game, it really is a great emotional experience but we can't say it's "nearly perfect" or anything.
Totally agree, I was always put off my by my own personal negative opinions towards some of the concluding story points, but as a whole Life is Strange isa beautiful game, that uses atmosphere as a story-telling element in beautiful ways.
I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.
I was only 7 years old when I first played the game and I replayed it a lot at that age cuz it was one of the few games I had,but I didnt understand the story much but at that time. Now I am 16 years old replaying the game and it hits the right part of my heart
My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. No blanket, just letting the soft and gentle breeze get me. Listening to this at the same time I could drift of to sleep just thinking about life, sorry for the strange rant but I needed to talk to someone well, kind of get something out there if you'd like. The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. It truly is something that we should exist at the same time this beautiful game does.
Today was a bad day. Nothing went according to plan and I could scream, cry and yell, but instead I sit hear and think of my blue butterfly and the beauty of life.
Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay. Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it. I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive. It was such a wonderful experience that I even wish I could play it again, but without the knowledge, I have now, I know people won't read this but you are better then what you think. and this game made me realise why. Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.

I just finished high school, and this playlist has brought back so many memories... Good and bad, all together in a mix of longing. I keep thinking about what could be different, what I could do so that in the end things don't end up weird as they are. Insecurity came back to haunt me. The existence of actions that could be taken that would have a huge bearing on how I feel right now doesn't leave my mind. I'm not sure what's going to happen next year, or if I'm going to carry the same people I met this year, and it scares me cause I haven't told them everything I feel... I've found this mix earlier than I played the game but from the first second I realized that it's gonna be something heartbreaking. Yesterday I've finished LIS story for the first time literally crying. I wasn't expecting so many emotions in one "old game" And thank you, this set came to my life in the perfect time: I'm now losing my best friend because she's about to merry and she's simply forgotten about me, substituting our 17-year-lasting friendship with her fiance whom she knows for a year or so. Not blaming her, but life is really strange. And I'm sitting in my room, listening to this mix and thinking about all the stuff

when I listened to this, the first time I opened the game, I was hoping for an indie game that would not hit me in the gut and that would not influence my life whatsoever, I have heard that it was good, but I never heard a single thing about the story or the characters and god when I started playing the game, I felt so familiar with the characters, evene when I never heard of them, and I think that's the magic of the game, Max's friends are our friends, we all have that kind of friends in our colleges or high schools, but the character I really loved, was Chloe, man I am 20 and I feel a lot like Chloe, I even do most of the things she does, even before playin the game, and the ending, it was so... touching, it is true, you can never play the game for the first time again, the plot twist, I think the plot twist about the sicko, was one of the most unexpected twists, and it is truly amazing because there were hints and it was THERE all along, you just "never payed attention", because that's how life is, you stop paying attention due to being concentrated in your life and you fail to see the reality of your world, Life is cruel, Life is careless, Life is strange

Listening to this music reminds me of a better time in my life, back when a lot of people cared for me and my family was still together, we didn't struggle for money and I would be carefree playing Life is Strange in my room along my best friend, everything was just perfect. Nowadays I feel lost, alone and completly useless in anything I do regardless of having dinner with the family that I have left, doing a good job in the university or going out with some friends, I don't know what's wrong with me.

Idk why but I feel like this game represents so much the real life. The pain. The power of a choice. Love. Friendship. Childhood. It hurts everytime that I listen to this compilation but it's good, u know? I love how this game made me find something good in the middle of the storm...
Life is Strange, despite being a game with many, many flaws, will always be important to me. Seeing past some of the awkward dialogue or odd plot points and you'll find a story, atmosphere, and feeling simply unlike anything I've seen yet. Arcadia Bay is still one of my favorite video game settings, primarily because of the slow, calming mood it envokes despite all that happens in its borders. Part of that is because of how this amazing soundtrack was used to paint a landscape that became a character just as much as Max and Chloe did

Exactly how I feel. I know there’s plenty of places where the game could be better and I see why some people may not like it but it’s never really negatively affected the experience for me. It’s so so close to my heart to this day and I don’t think I’ll ever find anything like it. I’m getting emotional now🥺

@@AlanTalker We did, and we can't ignore the fact that the game can be really clunky with some awkward and cringy dialogue scenes, the expressionless faces on the characters in some cutscenes also seem kinda weird. Having said that, I love this game and have finished it a couple of times already, the atmosphere of Arcadia Bay is one of the best I've ever seen in a game, it really is a great emotional experience but we can't say it's "nearly perfect" or anything.
Totally agree, I was always put off my by my own personal negative opinions towards some of the concluding story points, but as a whole Life is Strange isa beautiful game, that uses atmosphere as a story-telling element in beautiful ways.
This game changed me in so many ways.

I remember the first time I ever played this game, i fell in love. The music, the art style and then Max and Chloe. Around the same time I was in a very unstable and uncertain time of my life, it's hard to explain but whenever I hear the soundtrack especially the main menu music. It just leaves a almost bittersweet feeling in my heart, like longing to go back but happy I made it past. This game will forever hold a special place in my heart.

My grandma died. She was my everything, I grew up with her and my grandpa and home was for me wherever they were. I visited her in the hospital every day, the last words I told her were "I love you" and I am thankful I got to hear her say she loved me, too. With each passing day my pain keeps getting bigger and heavier. I come back to this music and everytime I listen to it I feel as if I am still with her, holding her hand. I miss you, grandma, so, so very much. Te iubesc, mamaie.

I love Life Is Strange and rn for me its 00:04 and Tue. 18th August. I'm laying upside down on my bed with my feet up nice and cozy on the head board. No blanket, just letting the soft and gentle breeze get me. Listening to this at the same time I could drift of to sleep just thinking about life, sorry for the strange rant but I needed to talk to someone well, kind of get something out there if you'd like. Life Is Strange saved my life and now I watch others play it but dont get me wrong I do get very annoyed when they miss an important detail but either way everyone I've watched has enjoyed the same. :) Goodnight/Morning or Evening. 🙂

The fact that the first note of the menu song can play and instantly I am transported back in time to playing the game for the first time and all the emotions it brought to me. Even with the knowledge I have of it now, years after I've played it in full, I am still reminded of its essence and energy whenever the music plays. It truly is something that we should exist at the same time this beautiful game does.
Today was a bad day. Nothing went according to plan and I could scream, cry and yell, but instead I sit hear and think of my blue butterfly and the beauty of life.
Probably similar to many people here, but I first played this game a few years ago during a very stressful time of my life, when I was slightly depressed and had a flipped sleep schedule and so on, but the moments in this game and especially the music helped me a lot to overcome the sadness that I was experiencing and find a bit more meaning in my everyday life. Hopefully some day we can all find the same kind of happiness that Max and Chloe found in each other :)

I go back here so I can remember how this game made me feel, the summer I started playing it, I was lost in this world, I was lost in Arcadia Bay.
Late at night I cried and I laughed because of all the emotions Life is Strange made me go through, this was something completely new for me and I adored every little minute of it.
I had never tried any game like this before, so it really showed me a new place where I could let my dreams come alive.
It was such a wonderful experience that I even wish I could play it again, but without the knowledge, I have now, I know people won't read this but you are better then what you think.
and this game made me realise why.

Coming back after all these years because it’s simply beautiful.
This sort of makes you think there’s a bigger universe we are yet to explore, so everything’s not over yet.
Just hearing the menu music instantly makes me depressed. It's such a beautiful song but the story it says through the music of Max, Chloe and the people of Arcadia Bay really hits me hard just like the last of us's music does. Life is strange 2 has not captured the beauty of this game and the emotional rollercoaster it sends you through the music and narrative. I wish i could experience this game like it was my first time..

I picked up this game in 2017, I think. I’d hadn’t really heard anything about it but I thought it looked interesting. I played the first episode and was hooked. I had to play through the whole game. This game was so amazing. It shook me to my core. I remember staying up late into the night not being able to tear myself away, sitting there, sometimes in tears, at the emotional gravity of this game, awestruck. This game is definitely on my list of top 5 games I’ve ever played, truly beautiful.

Why can't I get over this game? This soundtrack? The vibe and the feels take me someplace, and I don't know if that place was ever real to me or just someplace I wanted to be real. But no matter what I always come back to it because I want to remind myself that my soul can feel this way.....and it always does.

I just finished high school, and this playlist has brought back so many memories... Good and bad, all together in a mix of longing.

Its 2022 and i still feel the same , the warm comfy music to my ears, the environment of the game is just so close to my heart. I still feel the same as i did when i first heard it
when I listened to this, the first time I opened the game, I was hoping for an indie game that would not hit me in the gut and that would not influence my life whatsoever, I have heard that it was good, but I never heard a single thing about the story or the characters and god when I started playing the game, I felt so familiar with the characters, evene when I never heard of them, and I think that's the magic of the game, Max's friends are our friends, we all have that kind of friends in our colleges or high schools, but the character I really loved, was Chloe, man I am 20 and I feel a lot like Chloe, I even do most of the things she does, even before playin the game, and the ending, it was so... touching, it is true, you can never play the game for the first time again, the plot twist, I think the plot twist about the sicko, was one of the most unexpected twists, and it is truly amazing because there were hints and it was THERE all along, you just "never payed attention", because that's how life is, you stop paying attention due to being concentrated in your life and you fail to see the reality of your world, Life is cruel, Life is careless, Life is strange
Genuinely had goosebumps reading that. All it takes is for the music to turn on, and you get transported right back to playing it again. Ive never had an experience like that when playing a game, its so painfully truthful and sad and breathtaking all at once
