- It's funny. Out of all the shows I wanted to see in Marvel's Phase 4 What If was at the top of my list. Now I feel let down because the show is trash. If you can somehow like it please feel free to share your thoughts

The other what if episodes clearly follow a different timeline so therefor the strange of the MCU we know would not see the branches of that timeline. Only the timeline he occupies.

These what ifs are like fanfiction with talent and money. I maintain that there is no excuse for large companies, with these huge franchises and all the money and time in the world, not to try making the greatest thing possible. Even if this is fanfiction it ought to be the best darn fanfiction of all time. Not 50 Shades
Edit: I never liked how Thor always felt like a joke character in the MCU. I prefer the animated depiction of Thor I saw where he was depicted as a Medieval noble, who speaks and carries himself as though he were the son of the King. The MCU's Thor is a dude bro, fish out of water who I wouldn't trust to feed my goldfish. Even though each character in the MCU was written differently enough that I can tell them apart, I don't think they really took advantage of how over the top and different you can make these characters because they're comic book characters. You can make each one of them a bit of a cliche archetype and get away with it. Instead they said "whatever give him a British accent so that everyone knows he's high born." At least they know he's just a party boy in this one.
The problem with these characters in the MCU is that they are not made for fans of the characters. They're made for marketing to the normie crowd, most of which can be easily entertain with humor and cool looking action but for though of us who want to truly see these characters come to life get disappointed. At least animation back in the day was top notch but now even that is just made for normies sadly
"What If: Thanos Wins Again. "
Thanos recreates the universe as he desired in Endgame and the stones become inert- which he's cool with because the work is done. Thanos keeps the Infinity Gauntlet stones and all as a memoir- of the sacrifices he made- an effigy of a failed universe he did not save. He chooses not to rule, instead the mantle was given to his adopted daughter Gammora (not dead/ technically different person and NOT revived). MCU Thanos doesn't fit the bill of evil dictator but it is still a universe guided and indoctrinated by his beliefs annnd some people do fall short of his ideals- ideals held as what is Right by many (even on a universal scale). The new universe however is NOT an echo chamber of his desires alone, and among the many who would challenge order there is only one person in all of the universe that remembers the old creation.....and he must FEED.
Yes, Galactus once again survived the death of a universe and passes into the next- and it'd be business as usual but there are not nearly as many worlds as before and fewer teeming with the life that makes it savoury. The lack rarity of the bountiful celestial bodies results in a hunger so great it drives him insane. The Mad Devourer Galactus forsakes whatever principals he had of balance, of heralds, of stopping....
It was an inevitable fate for the to be consumed world or star, and Thanos was aware of the planet eater prior to erasure but knew not of the extent he was capable to survive. Assuming him non-existent- Yes Thanos is more than concerned by the concept of Galactus running amok devouring a universe he made capable of balancing itself through his order. What's worse is Galactus noms at the same speed he did before- now at minimum twice as fast in the scheme of things. Thanos is cursed with knowledge- visions of Galactus consuming everything unable to be sustained by this universe. He needs more power, more.... everything-to protect his universe. His home. He created the universe fathoming and shaping its laws constructing all- and he knows there is nothing that exists to kill the Devourer- nothing HE made. With time it is discovered the existence of NEW Infinity Stones, but his Gauntlet is not compatible to them- but he's not without the wisdom to forge something that can.
The eventual battle of Thanos vs Galactus will result very one sided even with a newly fashioned Infinity Gauntlet- this Thanos can perceive upon equipping it- but he can perceive...a presence following him and watching his every move. He addresses this being and it does answer.
Uatu is SUPPOSED to be impartial- but then again he's only supposed to watch. Thanos and Uatu debate for the sake of the universe which he writes off as doomed. There is only one way for the universe to survive- and Uatu does tell him Thanos of his new path....and role.
The story ends with Thanos as Galactus' provider of worlds- freshly made from his Infinity Gauntlet resulting in a slowed decay of the universe but one inevitable. You cannot make something, from nothing- and in time there won't be much left as proxy between Galactus and his Home. The universe Thanos has made ultimately will die faster than would the other but perhaps those protected will be grateful for the time they have.
There ya go. Something along those lines.
Firstly let me say that that is a really incredible What If scenario. I'd definitely love to see a Thanos vs Galactus fight 😄 You should be writing for Marvel instead of these no talent hacks they have. One What if that I thought of that could have tied back into the main MCU is what if Hydra still had the Cosmic Cube/Teserract after WW2. Experimenting with it on people and give birth to certain "mutations". People would be given abilities similarly to how Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch got theirs. Over time these Mutants were able to control their new found powers and overthrew Hydra, killing it's leader/Red Skull in the process. While some (Professor X) Wanted to return to society and helping humanity with their powers, Other (Magneto) Would be against this as he would never forget the torturous experiments that they were subjected to, the same experiments that killed his wife and daughter. And so Magneto would opt to enslave humanity believing that Mutants are the future. Profess X and his X-Men would do their best to save the world from Magneto Tyranny. And thus the X-Men were born.
Now how does this tie into the MCU you might ask? With Doctor Strange and the multiverse of madness. Assuming that multiverse is going to be thoroughly explored in the film, the X-Men characters could cross over into the MCU somehow, possibly in a post credit scene.
But that's just a theory

On a personal level, what is with the anti-Tony Stark attitude. The big joke of What if was how were they going to kill Tony Stark. He was even the first zombie to die. Than again the whole phase 4 was inti Iron Man.

There’s one thing in the Zombies episode that pissed me off and it has to do with Vision. So when he realizes he was being an asshole for feeding people to Scarlett Witch he decides to let the heroes escape. He then proceeds to rip out the mind stone and give it to them because it is the cure for the virus. Ignoring the fact that this dipshit android could have gotten them out of there easily because he’s Vision, you’re telling me that Vision can just rip the mind stone out of his head? So you’re telling me that in Avengers Infinity War he could have done the same thing?! What the fuck?! I’m not sure if ripping the stone out of his head in Infinity War would have helped a lot, but if he did that instead of getting Wanda to blow it up still attached then they could have tried to get it out of Wakanda to explode it in a safer area. It seems there’s a consistent problem with What If making Vision overpowered in the episodes. First ripping the stone out with relative ease and then slicing the Mad Titan like a grape.
Well in Infinity War the goal was to destroy the mind stone. Vision could only rip it out but not destroy it. My problem with him is he all of a suddenly feels bad for feeding Black Panther to Wanda but what was he thinking when he went through with it?? Also Vision probably could have done a lot of good if he just maned up and killed Wanda who could not be cured anyway
And in the Dr Strange episode the ancient one cant see past her death and cant timetravel without the timestone they explained that in the movie

The only episode I'll defend is the Strange episode. I genuinely think it's great, one of the best things the MCU has made. I love that it's treated seriously. Compared to something like the Zombies episode, it's basically the Second Coming.
The three pictures of She-Hulk in 5:21 are the kind of physiques women today would kill for just look at how hot, sexy & powerful she looks they could've given Peggy this kind of figure in the "What Ifs." And I agree Shuri should've not only leaked at what Killmonger's plan was on the net & the press she should've told her parents.

MCU butchered Spiderman. Mans always acting like a comedian even when he should be really serious. PETER PARKER i know knows when to be serious but the MCU spider just doesn't get it. Mcu plays toooooo much. They add jokes too much in their movies which is getting out of hand. Watched Eternal trailers boy the comedy is still there!! Can't they like a take a movie serious due to the stakes?

His biggest problem is he has no identity his own and while I did fully blame the MCU for this and can't help but think Sony also is the reason for this as well. I heard originally in Spider-Man Homecoming Iron-Man was in it very little but Sony wanted more Iron-Man because they wanted to prove they have a stake in the MCU. Also they are extremely hesitant to use or reference other Spider-Man characters like Norman Osborn. Hell What If is the first time we get clarification that Uncle Ben does in fact exist. Both Marvel and Sony have a gold mine with this character but can't/won't stop fumbling the ball which is a shame because Spider-Man's is my favorite Superhero

It felt like I was watching a totally different movie with a sprinkle of gadget in it. One of the reason Peter grew up and started acting like a man was his loss of Uncle Ben, but the MCU doesn't even reference Uncle Ben, heck he's the driving force of Peter's morality. They just keep butchering this character and its very sad. I love Spiderman. Now no way home they still used the dumb comedy again in the trailer where he distracted Strange, Peter Parker jokes and plays but he is not a very stupid kid, he knows when to play and when to be serious. It's this boys 3rd movie and he hasn't learnt anything at all. I watched the trailer with annoyance

I hope in the next season, they explore what if the villains came through the cracks in no way home, where madam web and Dr strange teleport everyone in alternate time lines, and tobey works with team across the spider verse, Andrew works with comics version (when superior and 616 spidery unite), they can also have appreances from tas, tnas, unlimited show, Japanese, spectacular and even ultimate spider man (game), and since its animated, there will not be casting controversy. Also Tom could help in finding out more about the main villain (like a detective story). In the end when Dr strange is able to get everything in control and all the spider men unite and a epic battle takes place. It will be a good way to kinda adapt the spider verse comic storyline, they could also have a scene where Andrew saves spider gwen (Emma stone version) . I think it could be pretty cool, BUT let's be real with ourselfs they will (in reality) just explore what if mj became spider man (or spider woman) where she is a 1000 times better than Tom, Toby and Andy, Sadly
To me I would say Episode 3 is dumb. Because Hank Pym killed the Avengers. To hurt Nick Fury. Not people like Maria Hill and Phil Coulson. The Avengers which would make sense if it was Black Widow. But no one else. It’s like hurting someone you don’t even know. Nick Fury never even met Thor so why kill him?

High point of this show, Ultron Vs capt Marvel, Capt Marvel pinned down( LMAO) and Pete Pulling the train. Most of the points you raised I was in 100% agreement with, there were LOADS of plot holes but I'd long since switched off my critical thinking abilities whilst watching and found that I didn't get as angry at the show as I did with other shows for their nonsense (looking at you invincible, damn that show was a hate watch for me)
I should know better than to expect logic from the MCU by now but like a fool I had hope for this show at least

Given the infinite possibilities with infinite universes, all these scenarios are still very possible. Even for as dumbest a war and I definitely hated some of these episodes.
I'm nearly just seen in the sense of technicality when it comes to the multiverse. It's like an example I used always make, there's another universe where Superman where is the red suit with blue underwear. But just because there's a universe where Superman wears a red suit with blue underwear and he's mostly the same doesn't necessarily mean it would be interesting.
When I talk to people I usually start that off as an example of how miniscule the change could be to how broad and wacky it can get. But it's the more interesting wacky stuff of course that people would be interested in. Nobody necessarily just wants to see a different version of Superman where his suit is red.
So by technicality and Justice into possibility, these scenarios are still possible and can exist. Of course just like everybody else, I wouldn't say there's the parts that are very interesting.
The zombie one just made me beyond disappointed and was beyond stupid. It almost gives me a migraine without absolutely dumb it was just in the very beginning.

It is scientifically and factually proven that it is literally impossible to be a better Star-Lord than Peter Jason Quill, for only he has a favourite band called Star-Lord and a theme song called "Zero to Hero" that is tailor-made around his life. SCIENCE. Also the song is fucking amazing, if the new Guardians of the Galaxy game did something cool that everyone needs to see, that would be it. This song from this made-up band is just...perfect.
Oh wait, the series. Yeah, absolute fucking trash, pure shit and the animation is vomit-inducing dogshit, Stan and Jack are squirming in their graves because this travesty was made and the Romita family is now cursed because of this show. What in the fuck is wrong with Disney and Marvel studios. Old what-ifs were fun and cool and I know they were messed up from time to time like the various deaths of Spider-man that are a fucking nightmare fuel for anyone who hasn't read manga or seen anime but good God, these episodes are so devoid of creativity and any semblance of adherence to the rules of the movies, at least, that it just breaks anyone's mind.
Also, while Peggy would certainly get taller with the serum, she would just get more muscles which should still grow her more feminine aspects because Hayley Atwell is very feminine IRL. Yet Marvel just shrunk Atwell's Peggy in size, bust and ass because...I dunno, feminists hate it or something.
Thanos getting GOKU'd with a laser is just way too funny though, fucking comedy of the year. At this point, Frieza is easily in the top 10 of the Marvel universe fighters and number 9 is easily his bodyguard with the laser XD Also, on that note, this is literally the scenario, page for page, of what would happen if Cell won in DBZ. Literally. Destroys everything, kills Goku, goes and destroys the universe and becomes the absolute. Slow down with all that originality Marvel, leave something for the rest of the world 😀

I thought of so many what if scenarios and include many characters that we got back from fox, do create many possible ideas of where exactly the could've came in the MCU Timeline but no. Just got wasted, ridiculous, woke, garbage of a show.
Writing the comment before I watched all the way through (at around 4:00), maybe I'll append to it:
I did not mind anything about any of episodes except the last one, I enjoyed them and I've forgiven them for a couple of hoops and loose ends and whatever, everything was cool.
But the last episode is so unexplicably stupid it ruined everything for me, with such a good setup (well more or less, but it was alright) to spit out such a piece of crap as the last episode takes a special kind of skill, idk.
First of all, it was the battle beween god Ultron and strange supreme, everyone else were totally useless distractions, the watchers genius plan my ass;
And maybe zombie-Wanda since all the scarlett witch bullshit/chaos magic idk;
Secondly, Ultron still suffered from 'plot making AI as stupid as a brick' - he never thought faster than humans, he barely-barely used the fact that he's a god with 6 stones, he almost got beaten by a stupid fucking capitan marvel arrogant bitch who once got _a whiff_ of the tesseract.
He destroyed the galaxy, but the planet was still intact for some reason - okay, distractions were protected by strange supreme, whatever;
He, for some reason, needed to visit them in person (with 6 stones exposed and easily removable), anyone ever heard of non-locality? Easy with 6 stones imo
Ultron, The Watcher and Strange Supreme just exchanged punches and energy beams/shields instead of crazy methaphysics bullshit you'd expect from beings of such order.
Expecially painful was watching how _mere mortals_ were able to FUCKING MOVE ULTRON WITH LIKE THEIR PUNCHES!!1!
The fact that a being with 6 stones and crazy computation powers (could've filled the universe with cpus or smth btw) cannot make itself immovable by a basic physical punches is so dumb - although okay, with this one I'd let it slide since they were all enchanted by strange supreme, meh
Also, the armor and cape and shit of ultron was cringe, I hoped he would just be like Vision with embedded stones (and he was like this until the stones), since y'know, hes a god being, and *can* be invulnerable and shit, and an AI does not need to impress anyone, especially once he 'emptied' the universe.
And about that - how the fucking fuck did he not sence the two remaining beings in his universe with the soul stone or something, he even said that he's omniscient now with 6 stones, wtf
Then for some reason they brought stupid Thor, and well as I already said, - literally everyone else, they are useless, only useful being is Natasha (who they DID NOT BRING) only because she had the -cryptonite-, sorry, the zemo arrow bullshit - read above about being physically invulnerable with 6 stones or not even needing to be present with 6 stones, not even saying anything about a virus/opposing AI small enough to fit in an arrow being able to take down an actual supreme conscience - 6 stones including mind stone + read above about easily expanding computation powers by orders of orders of orders of magnitude.
The writers should read some fanfiction (the good kind/non-erotic/stfu) for inspiration, idk, starting with HPMOR, to understand how to show some basic OVERPOWERED MULTIDIMENSIONAL AND SHIT (not in hpmor, but it has some *rationality* that they also need very much, haha) bs without it being punches and energy blasts.

@@emperorxero9626 I mostly agree with you ex cept flr 2 things. The first is only a slight disagreement with picking on ultron for not using the stones because thanos did the exact same thing. The issue is mostly due to the fact that infinity stones in concept are too powerful for the mcu. My second disagreement is on strange supreme (dark doctor strange as you call him) being able to rival ultron. He was shown to be the cause of the end of a universe, so being able to absorb a planet buster beam for years he has been absorbing energy from countless creatures, it doesn't seem so far fetched.
Other than introducing strange supreme, this show was pretty forgettable

@@emperorxero9626 Nit picking about nothing lmao. There was clearly episodes for just comedic purposes and others with darker tones. Saying because it doesn't follow every shred of MCU lore it's bad is a garbage take. That's actually the entire point, it's just random off the wall short stories. Most of which were more entertaining than not and the finally was straight fire and if you say otherwise you're high off your meds.

Firstly no one said that the show was bad because it's not following the MCU's continuity. People, like me are saying the show is bad because it's bad even just off it's own logic. There are certain parts with the show that don't line up right given the MCU's continuity (Like Vision/Ultron killing Thanos when main universe Vision couldn't) but the bulk of complaints come from the show on it's own merits.
Next you talk about the show clearly having some episodes with darker tones and some being more comidic. No duh! Nobody said so otherwise. What I'm saying is that the comedy is poorly time and inappropriate in the show. For example the zombie episode should not have been a comedy considering that most people are undead with little to no hope in getting them back to normal.
These aren't nitpicks my brain is just fully functional. And you're right the finale to the show was fire. A dumpster fire lmao 😂
