I feel like there’s two characters that would work better to replace Iron Man and Hulk. I'd go for S.T.R.I.P.E, as he's literally a bulky Iron Man, and Etrigan the Demon.
Those could work quite well, particularly since S.T.R.I.P.E obviously has a young hero character who he acts somewhat as a mentor to in Stargirl, much like tony and Peter.
Perhaps in this universe DC did what Marvel did, nearly going bankrupt in the 90s and selling off the film rights to their biggest characters; Batman and Superman, leaving them trying to regain those characters years later when they actually need them while being forced to rely on less popular characters to kick off their Cinematic universe.

There's a character in the "Bloodlines" DC event that literally is just the Hulk. Dude gets bigger and skin color changes based on how angry he is increasing his strength. He was part of the New Blood heroes and didn't really stick around long. Damage is better in every aspect, but I figured I'd mention him as a better counterpart.

I'd say that, at least the basic premise of Supergirl would line up better to She Hulk (female cousin of male hero with same powers tries to find her own place outside his shadow) As for LOT, personally I'd go either for New Warriors, or an Original team name, fairly sure Legends of Tomorrow was a name created for the show.

Elseworlds might be logical, but I think Tales From The Dark Multiverse is more marketable, and it would be easier to make it work with the opening monologue.
I have the same reaction as you do to the end result. It's certainly far different than what I would have expected but it's still very interesting and I would totally watch this cinematic universe. The whole thing just makes me imagine an alternate world where everything that happened to Marvel happened to DC instead, losing rights to their biggest heavy hitters leaving them to compromise and try to make the most out of what they have left. They don't have much of a relationship with the other characters for that to work, but Winter Soldier's dc would be Red Hood, Quicksilver's would be The Flash, and Scarlet Witch's would be Zatanna (even if Zatanna is rare to be seen portrayed as a villain, but hey, she does questionable things in Identity Crisis)

I was thinking for the time travel, to have a throwaway line in the Shazam movie about the Rock of Eternity being made up of pieces of rocks from the past, but if they get separated they'll try to return. Then in Darkseid War pt.2 you have Mary remember that and bring it up, so your tech based heroes can figure out how to catch a ride with them.

For TV, you have Terra, Captain Steel and Black Condor, Wonder Warrior (Donna is Loki), Green Arrow (training Artemis), Tales of the Dark Multiverse, Hawkman (Moon Knight), Starman Jack Knight (if Stargirl was the Captain Marvel analogue here), and Kate Spencer Manhunter.
I'd replace Donna with Nubia, in the Nubia was separated from the Amazons on a separate planet from by Ares/Mars, which works really well as an equivalent to Ragnarok since it would explain why Damage is competing in Gladiatorial combat on a planet run by a Greek/Roman God.

I think having Wonder Woman swapped with Orion would've actually worked really well especially with later movies, when Orion meets Artemis instead of Donna Troy as the Valkyrie counterpart. Artemis would talk about losing her sisters alluding to Donna and Wonder Woman and the other Amazons, the theme of the stories would've been High father casting out Orion to learn to control his anger and take lessons from the old gods so he can eventually lead the new gods. In contrast to the infinity stones, Thanos could be looking for secrets to unlocking the source wall which he's told houses the anti-life equation. These components could be magical items which would work like Fate's helmet and items held by Jason blood etc. Cracking the source wall could lead to multiverse stuff like Kang does currently by using either the Anti-Monitor or Perpetua in future projects. 🙏🏾 This was a great video, super unique and I'd love to see a story with these characters.
Not having Batman, Superman, the Teen Titans, Doom Patrol, Aquaman, Flash, Green Lantern, ect - would be just like how in the MCU they couldn't use their most popular assets like the X-Men or Fantastic Four. Except honestly a lot more obscure for the exact marvel equivalents lol. The hoops you had to go through to put Damage and Bumblebee in are hilarious!
@Cary that was thought for the first Iron Man at the time too. Blue Beetle isn't nearly as obscure as DAMAGE(who irl came out like 8 years later). Steel is another odd ball, as he's doesn't really have his own stories, as said in the video. In the MCU lineup, they too were forced to use B tier or C tier characters and make them A tier, like the picks Blue Beetle or Captain Atom. But that's the point, they have to be as close counterparts as possible to the MCU lineup. Blue Beetle isn't a bad pick, he has his own stories and legacy, and is relatively known. As known as Iron Man was at the time I'd say. Steel or Damage are a lot more odd. I will say, I would have preferred Blue Beetle 2 to be about Ted Kord and Booster Gold, their friendship is the best.

I think I would have Green lantern as the hulk counterpart because we don't really have a hulk like character who's a hero (other than damage), and Green lantern is green. Its very surface level but it's something. Also I'd have booster gold instead of captain atom.

Isn’t Supergirl the counterpart to Captain Marvel? I mean, Kara and Carol Danvers… But at the same time, I’d replace her with a young Superman that’s been in the future the whole time. Have his movie be when he’s young and doesn’t know how to fly until the end of the movie. Make Brainiac the villain to replace the Supreme Intelligence. In the end, he goes to the future to be with the Legion of Superheroes. This way, when you have the WandaVision counterpart, you can introduce John Henry for Monica Rambeau. Then Superboy for Ms Marvel. And because Superman died in the Endgame counterpart instead of Blue Beetle, you have Reign of the Supermen for The Marvels.

I've been searching for a video like this for the longest time. Glad I finally found it lol. By watching another. Video of urs. Also I don't think the characters have to be completely like the marvel characters. Nor do I think they need to be popular in the comics or even follow the comics version of the characters exactly. Cause as we know, the marvel cinematic universe is hardly like the. Comics. Some characters personalities are waaaaay different (Ironman, hulk, guardians of the galaxy, etc) and back stories almost totally changed or taken from other characters (Hawkeye, peter Parker, guardians of the galaxy, etc)

As for Phase 4 i’d have Batman be the replacement for Moon Knight. Moon Knight has a very different backstory, but the fact that he was partially based off of Batman works in my opinion. Also if this was real and Batman were to be introduced so late would actually be so hype. Imagine after like 10+ DC movies we’d finally get the introduction of Batman after so long would be crazy.
It could work if they base the story off of Ego, which is a story that focuses on the differences between how Batman acts and how Bruce acts and how it impacts his psyche and Gotham as a whole. It could be a more introspective take on Batman where he still had to come to terms with this whole thing, and they could make him younger to fit more with this premise. The villain could be the Joker, since he has deep connections with Batman and the great Batman/Joker stories are the ones that delve more deeply into how they are more similiar than Bruce thinks.
i more imagine Batman as the Daredevil counterpart in the Netflix MCU/DCCU series with Black Lightning (Luke Cage) Katana or another martial artist hero (Iron Fist) Halo (Jessica Jones) and Vigilante (The Punisher) who later crossing over in The Outsiders miniseries (The Defenders counterpart) with the League of Assasins (The Hand counterpart) as the main villain. and later Bruce Wayne appears in Blue Beetle 3 as a supporter of Jamie Reyes against the omicide accuse (and The Penguin or Carmine Falcone would be the Kingpin counterpart in the Green Arrow series). a Moon Knight counterpart would be The Question or another obscure DC vigilante or why not a DC Egypt themed hero or a hero with DID like Marc (Rorschach should fits, but he is not in the DC Universe)
For a hulk movie I’d say Etrigan the demon coz Jason blood for Bruce banner and etrigan for hulk then lost credit scene would be a bar in Manchester showing Constantine walking through the doors
Bruh, c'mon, you could've replaced Swamp Thing with Damage for Hulk since both Hulk and ST are green monster-types created by science accident. Also either Steel or Booster Gold would have worked for sidekicks of Blue Beetle, one is armored black dude who has his own responsibility and the other one is a close friend of the hero who acts as "sidekick"
I think you need explain this as most of the heavy hitters sold to an outside company before getting them back so I would be intrigued with what would be for Fox and Sony using some of the heavy hitters For Fox in this scenario something to equivalent to XMEN and F4... maybe Superman and storyline/villains for XMEN while Batman and family with villains for F4 Sony gets The Flash

K, as much as I like this pitch, If we're doing a dc film universe, we're gonna need the trinity. They don't have to be the first few characters with solo films but they gotta be on the founding league. I do love the idea of (mostly) spotlighting lesser known characters. I do like the idea of for the most part keeping the lesser known characters so i'm gonna try to throw something together. Iron Man (2008) - Blue Beetle. This is honestly the perfect analogue. We could have Jarvis Kord as our Stane replacement reverse engineering the scarab to become Black Beetle. Rhodey can be Michael Jon-Carter who's ties to the military are cut. Post-credits scene can confirm that he's from the future. The Incredible Hulk (2008) - The Martian Manhunter Iron Man 2 (2010) - Superman - K so this one is a bit unorthodox but here me out here. Greedy influential tech mogul gets jealous/fearful of powerful guy so he creates something to defeat him. So here we'll have Lex Luthor (Justin Hammer), rebuild John Corben (Whiplash) into Metallo. He also provides John Henry Irons (rhodey), a lexcorp employee and superman fan the materials to make the Steel suit. We'll obviously have to rewrite some of the specifics to fit with Superman mythos, but this could really work. Black Widow's role would be taken by Batman who is secretly working with King Faraday to create a team of protectors as they've been getting signs of an alien threat coming to earth. Thor (2011) - New Gods - pretty unorthodox but here's my pitch, Orion the son of highfather get's cocky and becomes an ass. We can have Orion be humbled as he's forced to live in New Genesis's poverty-struck areas. The twist can be that Orion is Darkseid's son. We can explain this in a flashback later on showing Highfather and Darkseid exchanging children as a peace treaty. Darkseid is set up as this universe's looming threat. Kalibak is the villain. He wants to prove himself to Darkseid. post credits scene can set up Mr. Miracle and Barda for the sequel. Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) - Wonder Woman: Hero fights in a world war and comes back in the modern day. Nuff said. Justice League (2012) - King Faraday and Batman recruit Superman, Wonder Woman, Orion, Blue Beetle, and Michael Jon-Carter who reveals himself as Booster Gold to form the Justice League. Kalibak is the villain again, this time with an entire army.

Doctor Mid-Night is DC's Falcon. Superman fits better as Cap, because his personality, and you can just put Superman in the past just like he was in the Golden age, then jump him throw into Earth Prime just like he did in Infinite Crisis. Red Tornado is DC's Vision. I'd go with Doomed (Reiser) instead of Damege just because Damege is boring looking (unlike Hulk) and it also would fit more with my other idea of not having Darkseid in the movies, I hate that Darkseid is now a JLA villain as he was always a real god before new 52, like how no one but gods fights Eternety or Lord Chaos in the Marvel universe, so making Doomed a JLA member would mean the big bad Domsdays would be close behind the heroes, so Domsdays is my DC version of Thanos. I get why you didn't go with Steel as the Iron Man, but outside of him not being Rich everything could still fit much better with Steel, then with Blue Beetle, or Booster Gold also fits better then Blue Beetle and if Booster Gold was there it would still make since to kill off Blue Beetle since they are best friends, and Spider-man would be Sideways or Static, but Sideways fits best.

"Used the second Ant Man instead of Hank Pym for some reason" the reason is that they were never quite able to bring Hank Pym back from the alcoholic wife beater stain that they put on him and so they wanted to make sure that he wasn't who they hung the franchise on.
Here’s an idea, what if the MCU was amlagamized like in Infinity Warp, not necessarily the same combos but fallowing a similar idea with the roster currently present in the MCU. You could make a good argument for many different combos, going with IronHammer like they did in the comics would work well but so would IronSorcerer or Iron-Spider. Since we don’t have GhostRider you could combine Thor with BlackPanther and then probably KillMonger with Hella.

I'd go for S.T.R.I.P.E, as he's literally a bulky Iron Man, and Etrigan the Demon.
Those could work quite well, particularly since S.T.R.I.P.E obviously has a young hero character who he acts somewhat as a mentor to in Stargirl, much like tony and Peter.

Perhaps in this universe DC did what Marvel did, nearly going bankrupt in the 90s and selling off the film rights to their biggest characters; Batman and Superman, leaving them trying to regain those characters years later when they actually need them while being forced to rely on less popular characters to kick off their Cinematic universe.

There's a character in the "Bloodlines" DC event that literally is just the Hulk. Dude gets bigger and skin color changes based on how angry he is increasing his strength. He was part of the New Blood heroes and didn't really stick around long. Damage is better in every aspect, but I figured I'd mention him as a better counterpart.

Elseworlds might be logical, but I think Tales From The Dark Multiverse is more marketable, and it would be easier to make it work with the opening monologue.
I have the same reaction as you do to the end result. It's certainly far different than what I would have expected but it's still very interesting and I would totally watch this cinematic universe.
The whole thing just makes me imagine an alternate world where everything that happened to Marvel happened to DC instead, losing rights to their biggest heavy hitters leaving them to compromise and try to make the most out of what they have left.

I was thinking for the time travel, to have a throwaway line in the Shazam movie about the Rock of Eternity being made up of pieces of rocks from the past, but if they get separated they'll try to return. I'd replace Donna with Nubia, in the Nubia was separated from the Amazons on a separate planet from by Ares/Mars, which works really well as an equivalent to Ragnarok since it would explain why Damage is competing in Gladiatorial combat on a planet run by a Greek/Roman God.
I would argue that Sideways, a superhero who was also apart of DC new hero wave in 2017, is a better counterpart then the second Blue Beetle.

Circe is pretty much Wonder Woman's Loki so I think she'd work pretty well as a Loki equivalent.
I think having Wonder Woman swapped with Orion would've actually worked really well especially with later movies, when Orion meets Artemis instead of Donna Troy as the Valkyrie counterpart.
Artemis would talk about losing her sisters alluding to Donna and Wonder Woman and the other Amazons, the theme of the stories would've been High father casting out Orion to learn to control his anger and take lessons from the old gods so he can eventually lead the new gods.
In contrast to the infinity stones, Thanos could be looking for secrets to unlocking the source wall which he's told houses the anti-life equation. These components could be magical items which would work like Fate's helmet and items held by Jason blood etc.
Cracking the source wall could lead to multiverse stuff like Kang does currently by using either the Anti-Monitor or Perpetua in future projects.

Except honestly a lot more obscure for the exact marvel equivalents lol. The hoops you had to go through to put Damage and Bumblebee in are hilarious!
@Cary that was thought for the first Iron Man at the time too. Blue Beetle isn't nearly as obscure as DAMAGE(who irl came out like 8 years later). Steel is another odd ball, as he's doesn't really have his own stories, as said in the video. In the MCU lineup, they too were forced to use B tier or C tier characters and make them A tier, like the picks Blue Beetle or Captain Atom. But that's the point, they have to be as close counterparts as possible to the MCU lineup. Blue Beetle isn't a bad pick, he has his own stories and legacy, and is relatively known. As known as Iron Man was at the time I'd say. Steel or Damage are a lot more odd. I will say, I would have preferred Blue Beetle 2 to be about Ted Kord and Booster Gold, their friendship is the best.

Making the Ducktales Universe a Cinematic Universe With the Structure of the MCU
Isn’t Supergirl the counterpart to Captain Marvel? I mean, Kara and Carol Danvers… But at the same time, I’d replace her with a young Superman that’s been in the future the whole time. Have his movie be when he’s young and doesn’t know how to fly until the end of the movie. Make Brainiac the villain to replace the Supreme Intelligence. In the end, he goes to the future to be with the Legion of Superheroes. This way, when you have the WandaVision counterpart, you can introduce John Henry for Monica Rambeau. Then Superboy for Ms Marvel. And because Superman died in the Endgame counterpart instead of Blue Beetle, you have Reign of the Supermen for The Marvels.

As for Phase 4 i’d have Batman be the replacement for Moon Knight. Moon Knight has a very different backstory, but the fact that he was partially based off of Batman works in my opinion. Also if this was real and Batman were to be introduced so late would actually be so hype. Imagine after like 10+ DC movies we’d finally get the introduction of Batman after so long would be crazy.
It could work if they base the story off of Ego, which is a story that focuses on the differences between how Batman acts and how Bruce acts and how it impacts his psyche and Gotham as a whole. It could be a more introspective take on Batman where he still had to come to terms with this whole thing, and they could make him younger to fit more with this premise. The villain could be the Joker, since he has deep connections with Batman and the great Batman/Joker stories are the ones that delve more deeply into how they are more similiar than Bruce thinks.
i more imagine Batman as the Daredevil counterpart in the Netflix MCU/DCCU series with Black Lightning (Luke Cage) Katana or another martial artist hero (Iron Fist) Halo (Jessica Jones) and Vigilante (The Punisher) who later crossing over in The Outsiders miniseries (The Defenders counterpart) with the League of Assasins (The Hand counterpart) as the main villain. and later Bruce Wayne appears in Blue Beetle 3 as a supporter of Jamie Reyes against the omicide accuse (and The Penguin or Carmine Falcone would be the Kingpin counterpart in the Green Arrow series).

I love this actually feels like an alternate universe where DC was the one that sold the rights to their most popular characters, and now had to make a cinematic universe with the lesser known characters.
Love this but would have used Superman and Aquaman instead of Steel and Vixen. But I still loved the thoughts experiment great job!

K, as much as I like this pitch, If we're doing a dc film universe, we're gonna need the trinity. They don't have to be the first few characters with solo films but they gotta be on the founding league. I do love the idea of (mostly) spotlighting lesser known characters.
I do like the idea of for the most part keeping the lesser known characters so i'm gonna try to throw something together.
Iron Man (2008) - Blue Beetle. This is honestly the perfect analogue. We could have Jarvis Kord as our Stane replacement reverse engineering the scarab to become Black Beetle. Rhodey can be Michael Jon-Carter who's ties to the military are cut. Post-credits scene can confirm that he's from the future.
The Incredible Hulk (2008) - The Martian Manhunter
Iron Man 2 (2010) - Superman - K so this one is a bit unorthodox but here me out here. Greedy influential tech mogul gets jealous/fearful of powerful guy so he creates something to defeat him. So here we'll have Lex Luthor (Justin Hammer), rebuild John Corben (Whiplash) into Metallo. He also provides John Henry Irons (rhodey), a lexcorp employee and superman fan the materials to make the Steel suit. We'll obviously have to rewrite some of the specifics to fit with Superman mythos, but this could really work. Black Widow's role would be taken by Batman who is secretly working with King Faraday to create a team of protectors as they've been getting signs of an alien threat coming to earth.
Thor (2011) - New Gods - pretty unorthodox but here's my pitch, Orion the son of highfather get's cocky and becomes an ass. We can have Orion be humbled as he's forced to live in New Genesis's poverty-struck areas. The twist can be that Orion is Darkseid's son. We can explain this in a flashback later on showing Highfather and Darkseid exchanging children as a peace treaty. Darkseid is set up as this universe's looming threat. Kalibak is the villain. He wants to prove himself to Darkseid. post credits scene can set up Mr. Miracle and Barda for the sequel.
Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) - Wonder Woman: Hero fights in a world war and comes back in the modern day. Nuff said.
Justice League (2012) - King Faraday and Batman recruit Superman, Wonder Woman, Orion, Blue Beetle, and Michael Jon-Carter who reveals himself as Booster Gold to form the Justice League. Kalibak is the villain again, this time with an entire army.

I would replace the female shazam with Hal Jordan considering the similarities between him and Captain Marvel in the MCU
I would replace ms marvel with a allegra show that follows allegra from the flash

I'd go with Doomed (Reiser) instead of Damege just because Damege is boring looking (unlike Hulk) and it also would fit more with my other idea of not having Darkseid in the movies, I hate that Darkseid is now a JLA villain as he was always a real god before new 52, like how no one but gods fights Eternety or Lord Chaos in the Marvel universe, so making Doomed a JLA member would mean the big bad Domsdays would be close behind the heroes, so Domsdays is my DC version of Thanos.
I get why you didn't go with Steel as the Iron Man, but outside of him not being Rich everything could still fit much better with Steel, then with Blue Beetle, or Booster Gold also fits better then Blue Beetle and if Booster Gold was there it would still make since to kill off Blue Beetle since they are best friends, and Spider-man would be Sideways or Static, but Sideways fits best.

Well it’s better then just another Batman or Superman movie. Give a lesser story first as a character that not many people know instead of the same story you’ve heard way too many times.

"Used the second Ant Man instead of Hank Pym for some reason" the reason is that they were never quite able to bring Hank Pym back from the alcoholic wife beater stain that they put on him and so they wanted to make sure that he wasn't who they hung the franchise on.
Here’s an idea, what if the MCU was amlagamized like in Infinity Warp, not necessarily the same combos but fallowing a similar idea with the roster currently present in the MCU.
You could make a good argument for many different combos, going with IronHammer like they did in the comics would work well but so would IronSorcerer or Iron-Spider.
Since we don’t have GhostRider you could combine Thor with BlackPanther and then probably KillMonger with Hella.
