One quick thing regarding defragmenting drives is that with a solid state drive, it is recommended that you should not defragment the drive. Defragmentation to improve performance is not actually required in SSDs but you should do the same with HDDs. Hope this video helps 😊

I have 11 years old laptop... With windows 10 and 2GB RAM...
and still working well...
Just take 15 minutes to start..😀..

make a separate folder in your D or E drive to keep Installation setup or Exe or Msi files.
When You install a large software try not to keep the app/installation data in C drive. try to maintain the C drive empty space around 40%.
To do so,
Go to storage, and change where to download files. Go to your browser and change the download location to D or E drive ( create a download folder to keep things neat and clean)
open Run, and type 'prefetch' and delete all the files
Harry and Carry voice appears to be same.

A note for everyone
In the last step after deleting temporary files you can also use Windows+ R and prefetch and delete the files… it's also a folder which generally has temporary files… it helped me a lot ;-)

Keeping minimum contents on desktop and reducing load on C drive speeds up computer greatly. As C drive goes on filling, speed goes down to some extent so i don't prefer loading C much more than some documents. Music, Videos and Entertainment related stuff can be kept in drive other than C drive. @CodeWithHarry

Another speed up method can be ---search *adjust performance and appearance* there u must select to the performance mode but keep in mind check the smoothing font box otherwise u will see crunchy texts (so boxy) also u should define the pagefile this cab help while renderingvideos

Cleaning up the Temp file and Hardware update was the Best . Really my laptop is working Good than Before. Thank you very much !!!
You can also clean it up by opening the run command and typing "prefetch" , it will work try once 🔥
1. Start-taskbar-startup-disable
2. add or remove programs
3. defragment and optimize drives
4. ssd is worth it
5. clean temporary files- win+R write temp>ctrl+a+shift+del

I have installed SSD in my second hand desktop before 2 days and after use my expression was like what is this,it is incredible and now i am running android studio as well as chrome simultaneously on 4gb ram so just take a 120gb SSD and enjoy with it.

2. Install Ubuntu single boot
3. Done.

some other ways to speedup windows 10:
(1) install avast! it consume less ram then windows defender.
(2) install and run ccleaner
(3) install and run malwarebytes
(4) always maintain hard drive atleast 20% empty.
(5) Reduce the Boot Menu Time-out
(6) Disable some Visual Effects
(7) Fully restart PC ( not hibernate start )
