I recently do this with my 2012 SAMSUNG laptop .Before installing SSD it take near about 4 minutes to open and now after installing SSD it open under 40 sec .It works and if you wish you can try it.

when going for gaming laptop, makle sure you have 4bg GPU, i7, 32gb ram or minimum 16 gb, 250 or 500 SSd, with good cooling system.

i have upgraded my asus tuf gaming laptop(that same laptop almost) with extra ram and ssd and its a brand new game again hahaha, although i recommend fresh install of windows in your new ssd instead of migrating
Bro one tip:- if you install SSD then disable fastboot for windows 8 or 10. Because you don't need it and complete shut down is better than fast shut down ( hibernate)

Bhai, do not confuse between SSD and NVME M. 2 SSD. This is NVME M. 2 SSD, the faster than SSD. This kind of slot is not available in older laptopa. Still 2.5 Inches Regular HDD can be replaced with 2.5 Inch Sata SSD in older laptops to gives them new lease of life.
Indeed. Thats the whole idea. To replace the old hard-disk (mechanical) with new one. If you clean from dust very well and eventually upgrade RAM - you have a new life for your PC/Laptop.
Many people still cannot understand that cheap upgrade.

@@progamer36 earlier he exposed a scam where he opened parts of ikall smartphone, on cover it was said all "made in India", but after chir par, we got to know parts like battery, wire charger etc were all made in China, and even battery mAH was less (written inside battery pack) than what was told on cover.

And you will get information about that there is dedicated slot of ssd in your laptop by simply on it's official website or by opening it

I have a 2014 1TB HDD on my PC, i3 5th Gen, 8GB Ram, GTX480. I started to learn more about PC's since lockdown and now I have moderate knowledge of Hardware and Software. I started tweaking with my PC since 2021, and realized that my long startup time wasn't due to Processor or Ram, but due to my HDD. As I learned in deep about it, I started to make a few tweak to HDD through windows and MoBo. earlier it took about 2 mins for my pc to enter into desktop, after the tweaks, it takes about 15-20 seconds to enter desktop with boot menu disabled(I have Win10 as well as Win11)

Bro i'm using the same model for the past 3years and i upgraded from hdd to ssd only when the hdd was not usable further. I m currently using HIKVISION E3000 ssd (M.2 PCIe ) which costed me like around 4800Rs and offers upto 3500mbps(in paper) and the performance now is incredible. The boot time is now like 18 seconds in total (8-9 sec into lockscreen and remaining for entering password followed by a fully loaded desktop). You could go for more premium ssd as per your budget. If you are facing any performance related issues or would like to improve your windows performance remarkably, i would personally like to recommend anyone to try adding an ssd before you consider changing even the laptop itself.

I would like to give an update: I added ssd to my laptop, and if you have a dvd reader don't worry, your hdd can be placed there, so my laptop now is a lot faster boots in 2secs and all my previous data is with me too!!

Transfering windows from hdd to ssd then the perfomance would be low as compared to installing new windows on new ssd . So always buy a laptop with prebuilt ssd.

Recently I upgraded to 1tb crucial MX500 SSD ....laptop turn on now at 9 seconds
And switch off in 2 second
And firefox work so fast
In short laptop became so fast and responsive
I have 14 year old computer and 9 year laptop...
2 years ago I changed HDD of both to SSD
They work more faster than they wer new...

I was using i3 10th Gen hp laptop without any gpu. It used to take 50/60 secs to get booted, then I installed a nvme ssd and a ram, now it runs beyond my imagination😁😁takes less than 5 seconds to boot, app opens like nothing 😎🔥

I have a sony vaio 6-7yrs old ,it was taking 2-3mins to boot ,heats alot ,
What I did was replaced the hdd to sata ssd and cleaned the dust from fan , applied thermal paste .
Result : now its boot time is 11-12 seconds , buttery smooth performance.
I bought this same SSD and installed it in my laptop.
Windows 10 took less than 200 seconds to install.
My OS boots in 3-4 Seconds from power on button
Entire Restart cycle is less than 10 seconds.
Apps load super quick.
I highly recommend this M.2 NVMe SSD.
I saw this video a week after my purchase and installation. I tried to clone my drive too but there were bad sectors, so it failed.
