Very warm hat for chemo patients 😊
Thank you for this hat Crystal. I needed a plain beanie base for amigurumi character hats. This fits the bill perfectly and I can make it for any size head.
I will be making these hats for the homeless and chemo patients. Made a Hobby Lobby run this week and bought plenty of different colors of I love this yarn. I really enjoy your videos.
I taught my self to crochet and I still get confused when working in rounds. At the beginning when you said you were going into the first single crochet not the slip stitch AND you pointed out where the slip stitch was and what it looked like, you have no idea how much that helped me! Hi Crystal! I just wanted you to know that I made this hat last night using red heart love metallic in gray. My last row was done in stitches of Sc and Tc alternating. I was thinking about making a matching cowl with an occasional Sc, tc, sc stitches throughout to match the hat. Thank you so much for inspiring me. ❤👍✌

Hi Crystal I wanted to know if I can use a 5 mm hook and to strands of thinner 4 weight yarn if I would get a similar sized hat or slightly bigger. I have 22 1/2 inch head. I have frogged the beanie I'm trying g to make more times then I can remember. I started a different way and it felt like it was getting wider. So I found this and was oh this will be great because I love making face rounds. Nope once I get to 1 single crochet then 2 single crochet my count is 16 stitches not 18. I have redone it so many time I have given up to I'm just going to be off on my stitches because I can't figure out where I go wrong and there is no way to get 2 more stitches in. I end on 2 single crochet.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. You are very easy to follow. Frogging again. I just don't understand where I'm going wrong

There shouldn't be any holes with this stitch....try to tighten your tension

Ofc! I know your comment was from a year ago. Although, in her videos she mentions that chaining to make a magic ring is more easier for her. But yes, you can use the magic ring. :)
