Thank you l am doing the Adult/Large : 81 / 2 inches ; 14row : all so using Hook Size J/5.75mm I gets lost on some of my rows some times and be messing up my crocheting then I have to start all over again and I gets very upset cuz I have to start all over again

I like that the same pattern is used for all sizes.. it’s amazing whst just changing the hook size can do. You can use the beginning to do different stitched,, and therefore, different hats. Very cool.

Love your enthusiasm for crocheting 🧶. My grandmother taught me when I was very young 6 or 7 years old and ever since it’s been an endearing hobby with great appreciation. I am trying to make a lightweight beanie in cotton/bamboo mix so it is very thin and I am using a 3.5mm hook. Do I just do more increase rows in the same ratio to make it the right size? I have started and pulled it out about 5 times!!!
@@XeenaWallington-nu2zq I’m sorry this video is for the size hooks explained. Not knowing the size you are wanting the only thing I can suggest is to do more increase rows and more rows until you get the size you need. You could also go up a hook size even with the cotton mix and still fall low the tutorial.
Thank you for this tutorial! It was very easy to follow. I do have a question though. If I wanted to make it longer so that the adult hat has a fold, would I make it longer (meaning like do more rows) and continue with the 60 stitches all the way around or would I have to do decreases?
@@briannahendrickson9818 for age 3 I would do the toddler. For ages, 5, 7, and 8 I would do the child. For ages 9 and 11 I would do teen. For 14 I would do adult. This is however just a guess. Some children and adults have smaller or larger heads than normal so I would keep that in mind. Hope this helps. ❤️

What ages would you say child is? I have to make 15 hats before Christmas, for ages 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 11, & 14. Trying to figure out the sizes for 5-9.

I have gotten the right size crocheting hook to day I had to go to Walmart and get the right size crocheting hook 5.75mm is what I have gotten

I have tried and those small hooks don't work so good with my hands anyway can I do 0-3 months with a 5- h hook ?
You will need to change the pattern up if you use a bigger hook
I love this but in the beanie there are holes where we slip stitch is there any way you could do an invisible slip stitch tutorial?
