Eddie has the vibes of an uncle who would buy you a sandwich and pay for your movie ticket if he caught you cutting class but he’d also talk to you about how important it is to get an education.
Uncle Eddie is here to make us laugh, he's here to make us smile, and Eddie is here to make us think with his words of wisdom. He is just amazing and so sweet but tough. Him being a face fits his real personally.
My wife has been watching AEW with me for the past month, and she immediately latched on to Eddie as her favorite. She said something to the effect of "This dude is so effing real I believe everything he says".
I love this man so much. Thanks to AEW for making me discover him, for giving him the chance to shine that he rightfully deserve. Now give him at least one title reign in AEW
Eddie is EXACTLY the type of person I care to support in pro wrestling. No bullshit, real deal, smack you in the face to put you down. Simple, and to the point. Score settled. 👊🏼💥 1..2..3 🍻
Easily one of the things I'm thankful most about AEW is putting the spotlight on Eddie Kingston - He literally changed the tone of the show on day one. Everything he does feels real, everything he says has meaning. This interview was amazing, too!
Hell yeah dude, Eddie's subtly a total sweetheart but the realest damn g, the lighttubes spots he's taken from Nick Gage are truly awe inspiring in terms of pain tolerance.
Renee is probably the best interviewer in my opinion. My 13 year old son and I adore her. Thank you Eddie for sharing your experience with mental health issues and bringing awareness. My son has anxiety and when you did the promo with Moxley after the ring explosion talking about your anxiety, he was affected by that. You’re such a down to earth, and just “real” dude. Thank you for all you do. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY Renee. You and my son Ryan share a birthday. He just turned 13. Mox is his favorite wrestler, so he loves sharing his special day with you. 😊
Eddie has gone from relatively unknown veteran on the verge of retirement, to one of the highlights every time he is on screen. His pairing with Moxley made me want to see them win the titles. I can't wait till he gets some deserved gold in the next calendar year.
The second Eddie walked out on stage with the mic in his hand, for his match with Cody, I was like "this is the dude to watch." Glad he's in a better place mentally these days.
So glad Eddie Kingston is finally on national tv. He was one of the guys under the radar of so many fans like myself for far too long and he's getting the recognition he deserves
Eddie Kingston good guy Great American I'm glad he did it this video but the people know his background ... Renee and moxley you guys are rock great awesome video John Graham Cincinnati Ohio miss you brother
i never knew eddie kingston exist mannn so sad.....thanks aew for giving us and booking this man like gold made ediie my fav pro wrestler ever ....he is such a badasss
If Renee is good at anything, it's bringing out the human behind that character. Eddie seems like an awesome guy, and his homeless shelter idea would be a reality in minutes if he crowd funded it. Especially if he reached out to certain Twitch streamers in the company. I was a small part of a huge stream just last night that raised over $80K for the Canadian Research Society.

I'm glad that you raised so much for non white canadians
@ A: I was typing fast on my phone. It was The Canadian Cancer Research Society. B: Even if I had meant Canadian Research Society, do you think there are no minorities working in research in Canada? If so, you need to check your own racism.
This interview just got Eddie more over if there is such a thing! I was on the fence about Eddie and now this guy just became one of my favorite wrestlers.
"Dream? Me and Jon at Madison Square Garden. More realistically? Me and Jon at Hammerstein Ballroom." He is about to have a match at Arthur Ashe Stadium, a place that is even bigger, but not quite as prestigious as MSG. I think he can upgrade those "realistic" expectations.
@@dragonspeed99 In terms of pro wrestling, being in Madison Square Garden is the top of the world. That's why you hear wrestlers talking about wanting to be in MSG before they retire
Dam I wish I saw this when it was new. Theirs nobody that deserves the success more than this guy I've watched him for years & he truly deserves this & more.
25:37 Eddie is well able to be aggressive. He has proved that and I do love when he finds that aggression. I also like that I am getting to see the other side of Eddie that is the funny side of him too but I personally connect when Eddie does go into that deep content in a promo. I think he has a great Balance in life now and I'm happy for him considering all the years he has put in in the business. Bless you Eddie 🙏
Eddie is a fast rising star!!!! I love it!!! Congrats Eddie!!! Love to you Renee and family!! Prayers for Mox to fully recover to come back better than ever!!!
Eddie transitioned from an underrated indie veteran to legitimate main-eventer during the pandemic era. Like to see what he does and hope he has a great 2022. Shame on the part of the IWC that made Kingston deactivate his Twitter account recently.
I love the fact that the wrestling world has taken the course it has so Eddie can be successful on a big stage because he'd never cut it otherwise.....because he's awesome and aint backing down from that. I also love, appreciate, and relate to the duality (really just different sides of the same coin) of being thankful for what u have, but nah, fuck this shit, this is where i belong. I love listening to Eddie, love all the success he gets, and i find it very therapeutic. Eddie is a very well-rounded awesome person in my opinion. Thanks for this awesome interview and all the best.
When Eddie came in with that debut promo on Cody and then the Mox one I was fan ever sense. I related to it. It was real. You meant it, You know. Loved it. Would have loved to have seen Kingstons grand slam speech close the show. Saw some clips of them online from a fan at the show and I felt that too I think in Wrestling especially when real life shit ain't going your way you can out that anger into a promo and vent and everyone be all in for you if it connects. That's a beautiful thing.
I still love going back to that feud between Kingston and Mox when Kingston first came I'm and I was "damn this guy is real!" and I looked more into Kingston and I was delighted to find him honestly. That was some deep shit that feud with Mox and I loved it. Felt it you know 👏🙏

The Mad king and the realest man in Pro Wrestling...like Simon Miller says, the man not cut promos, he just SPEAK HIS MIND and any promoter is just happy to recorded on camera XD.
I forget who said “you might not believe wrestling is real, but you’ll believe I’m real,” but Eddie Kingston’s promos from the indies, Chikara, CZW, etc. REALLY embody that sentiment. I was so glad AEW gave him his platform. Also, I don’t have patience for podcasts, but I watched this end to end.
I wonder when this interview first took place because now it's 2021 almost October and the crowds finally back in Kingston's getting huge pops he's one of the favorite guys one of my favorite guys and the crowd loves Eddie they can't Eddie just as loud as a champ Moxley

Legit. He’s crazy but he’s trustworthy, and he will take care of you if you need help.
Best description I've heard so far lol 👍
His main point would be that he skipped it too and look at him now
I love this description

One of the best guys in wrestling full stop. Love Uncle Eddie.
From the Chikara promotion , to the NWA , to AEW. Eddie Kingston has been the realist and most entertaining guy in the business.

Eddie is crushing it - his TNT title match against Miro at All Out was glorious. He and Jon tagging is bringing out the best in both of them.

Eddie is so humble.
Really like how his relies on his mom and family for support.
Man, I followed him due to his podcast with Colt Cabana many moons ago, and he sounds genuine and real.
I'm glad he got the recognition he deserves
Renee is so effin beautiful. And her personality just adds to it, seems so chill, so kind, so amazing. Fantastic woman

This interview made me tear. As someone from NY, this is an amazing story, he reminds me of my cousin.
The way ECW had Eddie fall back in love with wrestling is what AEW did for me in 2019
