Fun fact: The cabbie who draws down on Chris and Jackie's Mexican standoff at 9:01 is "Judo" Gene Lebell, (1932-2022) the stuntman and legendary martial artist who fought Bruce Lee on the set of "Green Hornet" and later taught him how grapple. He also trained Chuck Norris, and he and Chuck and Bruce were a clique for a while.
Gene yeah I remember that guy. I heard he was the guy that tapped Steven Seagal out. He Challenged Steven to head lock him and Steven thinks he can come out of it. But he didn't. But Gene made Seagal shit himself apparently😂. I thought steven was a tough guy. But got tapped out by the old man you don't want to mess with lol.
3 parts of this movie that really make me crack up laughing are: 1. When Carter starts dancing like Michael Jackson in the middle of the street after blowing the car up 2. When Lee and Carter are bonding and practicing disarming techniques while Edwin Starr's song "War" plays in the background 3. When Carter says "I know that ain't the bomb. Get that bomb away from me." Towards the end
And trust me, the blooper reels for the remaining two movies are just as funny when it comes to the slip-ups with the dialogue. Also, RIP to Elizabeth Peña and Tom Wilkinson
Can't forget Chris Penn as well! R.I.P. to him, Little brother to Sean Penn but very good actor in his own right. He passed in '06 at 40 due to heart disease.
Its a shame you did not show your reaction to the bar scene it was very good scene in the film l have seen other reactors show there reaction to that scene in
I assume it was Michael. He's cool but He can come off a little too sensitive or woke. Hayley just chills but he's taken aback by any of the racial stuff. I mean he got More bracelets than her lol 🤭🤔
Being overly sensitive over comedy doesn't make any sense. The whole point is it's not serious. The whole movie is satire about racial differences. They were quite alright laughing at ALL the Asian jokes. Might as well just not watch the movie.
Yes, one of my favorite scenes. I was like did I not pay attention when they reacted to that part. Had to go back to check. Nope they cut it out of the reaction. 😒
I was thinking the same thing! I like the sillier ones like mr nice guy or first strike, I grew up with those, love them! Just love seeing Jackie Chan doing his thing!
I was in the Marine Corps in the infantry during Desert storm, and we used to prank off small chunks of C4 to light on fire and use to cook our meals when we were in the field
To be fair, most reactors include that scene in the YT version, but these guys showed a number of different scenes others haven't so I think it balances out. If folks really wanna see it there is always reactors' patreon's. I ain't really willing to go that route for any reactors, respectfully, but yea js.
This Duo is in the Hall of Fame of Buddy-Cop archetypes ❤ The best line i can think of is "the best duo since Spade and Farley", which is a reference to David Spade and Chris Farley comedy duo's in the 90's. But if thats not enough very recently Jackie sent flowers and a card to Chris Tucker when he was on television recently ❤ just goes to show that the actors absolutely embody the characters and love they portray 🙏
Another Funny Chris Tucker Movie is; "Money Talks"(1997) Tucker is also Co-Executive Producer of that film as well is one of my favorite 📼 's of his i totally recommend it

Michael and Hayley first time together. How I met your mother? @20:06 boose worse timing ever. @20:27 seat best timing ever @24:20 that wasn't a wink. It was a twitch 😉. Its involuntary. A wink is more sensual, sexual. Like I got you or I'll see you later tonight hales 😘 @25:00 like boose said (don't know if true or not) C4 can't just go off by shooting it. I think Carter listened to Johnson earlier and learned a little about c4 during this time. So he knew him crashing into the building wouldn't set it off. Whoever had the detonator would have to kill themselves too if they pushed it. I don't think they want to if they wanted all of that money. Anyway fantastic movie. I really would've like to see carter and Johnson become partner's in the second. Or at least date. R.I.P Elizabeth pena. I noticed Chris put on some weight and looks really different in rh2. Hope y'all do the sequels. Don't skip the blooper credits. Hayley has got to see fifth element now. It is my #1 favorite movie.
It's nice to finally see you two do a reaction together. I'm glad you both dug this movie. I hope you do reactions to the sequels too. They're also good.
This is definitely a classic for a reason, also the whole trilogy is well worth watching Just a handful of notes I figured to add: The reason why they said the organization was crushed was because the artifacts were the whole crux of their illegal activities, so having retrieved them all in the sting, it didn’t really matter that Sang, who was just a henchman, got away Juntao had no business anymore, so he had to resort kidnapping to at least try and get some ‘reimbursement’ out of it When it comes to Juntao’s fall, hitting water from that height is like hitting concrete, so there’s definitely no way he survived it A lot of people also get confused by what they think is a wink by Sang when he’s pointing the gun, I kinda wish they didn’t do that scene at all The actual explanation is simply that he’s heavily tweaked out If you notice how he behaves a while before and after that scene, he’s trembling, sweating, twitching, and that ‘wink’ was just one of those twitches; all clear signs that he’s just way off his gourd on drugs
Y'all (not you all, y'all) should watch Friday. A classic comedy and Chris Tuckers arguably funniest roles is Friday, Rush Hour & Money Talks. He's the funniest in Rush Hour to me but Friday is still a must watch.
@@rebornjm eh, even then, just shooting a gas tank isn't that likely to cause an explosion unless you're using tracer rounds, but it is possible. But the implication in the movie is that he shot the C4, and it blew up, so eh 🤷♂️

The C4 didn’t go off cause he shot the C4. He shot the gas tank which then set off the C4
