She is the highest earning female actress in history. Not many people know that. She got a percentage for the resident evil movies and is still pumping out lots of B grade movies. Her movies are ridiculously popular.
@@user-lv5bt3nt3r I can't find corroboration of that, only that she was the highest paid for one year and that source was later updated as false. Scarlet Johansen seems to be more likely for that status. On another note, female actress is redundant.
In my subjective opinion, this is one of the best movies made in the history of mankind. He may be a little ill-conceived and naive in some places, but the amazing acting, interesting and truly original director's findings and a well-constructed story make this film unforgettable. • Bruce Willis perfectly got used to the role of an unsuccessful, but still a tough guy who remembers his fighting skills in time. • Milla Jovovich is deadly and at the same time knows how to empathize and do good for the benefit of the whole world. • Chris Tucker gave one of the most charming and insane characters in the history of fiction. • There are several factors that I loved about this movie. Fascinating scenario. The film has a good pace of narration, there is no sense of dragging out or despondency of what is happening. • There are many comical episodes in the film that successfully complement the dramatic moments. • I also want to emphasize a few interesting elements of the film. • The number "5" is everywhere. The number appears throughout the film and has a hidden meaning.: Evil awakens every 5,000 years, 5 is the number of elements, Zorg stops his bomb for 5 seconds, and the Mangalore bomb starts at 5 seconds. • ZF-1 Zorg submachine gun. The weapon combined a machine gun, a flamethrower, a grenade launcher, an arrow launcher and many other functions. Several copies of the machine gun were made for the film, and Soviet AKS-74U with a futuristic body kit were used in the shooting scenes. • The aria of the alien diva Plavalaguna. It was performed by opera singer Inva Mula, whose voice was processed on a computer, giving it a slightly artificial sound. Apparently, Besson wanted the range of the aria to go beyond the capabilities of the human voice, so digital processing was used in the place where the singer takes the highest note. This was an exhilarating and visually stunning journey into the world of science fiction. Thank you Magy for the wonderful reaction to this brilliant, masterpiece, iconic and prophetic movie.🦊🧲
It's a fun film. If only Besson didn't plagiarize the look from Alejandro Jodorowsky and Jean Moebius. As well as the Henry Canyon segment pf the 1980s film "Heavy Metal".
*Raiders Of The Lost Ark is a perfect film - perfectly directed, written, cast, acted, designed, choreographed, shot, edited, and scored, with adventure, action, laughs, drama, suspense, and romance.* *It’s a much better film overall and has become part of the culture. Aaaaand now you'll be saying "Multipass!" for the next 48 hours...🤣 The Diva's song was designed to be impossible for a human to sing to emphasize how alien she was. However several opera singers have taken that as a challenge and actually managed to sing it. There are videos about it on RUclips. Costume design was by Jean Paul Gaultier, and remains a favorite for cosplay to this day (hint, hint....)
I've seen this movie multiple times, enjoying it each and every time. I just happened upon a YT video the other day where Adam Savage (MythBusters fame) was checking out the big alien costumes/exoskeletons/suits at an auction house in the UK. The curator told him the actors inside the suits could only walk in a waddling motion, so what you see in the movie is truly the extent of their mobility on set.

22:48 - Zorg was basically describing the 'Broken Window' Fallacy. The reason it fails is that the work to replace the glass could have been used to make more glass or other products. To show why the Fallacy fails, imagine breaking all the glasses in a city. This Movie started as a short segment in a 1981 "Heavy Metal" Magazine (Which was also made into a GREAT animated Movie by the Same Name). The "Heavy Metal" movie is definitely worth a Reaction!
When it song was initially written is was done so with the intent to sound alien and inhuman. Specifically, not humanly possible to do. The original singer hit 80% of the notes perfectly (the rest was fixed in post) for a song that was designed to be impossible for a human to do.
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Little Shop of Horrors and The Fifth Element are the reason I love science fiction. This one especially feels like a live-action anime. It's incredible.
Hi Magy I think Laura would enjoy this one. The opera singer scene was real and what a voice she had. Bruce and Chris were funny together. Luke Perry from Beverly Hills 90210 show was the assistant in the beginning. Gary Oldman did a good job being a bad guy, Milla Jovovich from the Resident Evil films was spectacular. Nice reaction. Milla Jovovich films: Ultraviolet, The Fourth Kind, The Night Train To Kathmandu, Return To The Blue Lagoon, Chaplin, Dazed And Confused, He Got Game, The Messenger: The Story Of Joan Of Arc, The Claim, The Million Dollar Hotel, Zoolander, No Good Deed, A Perfect Getaway, Survivor, Hellboy.

Milla Jovovich has a new movie coming out very soon with her and Dave Bautista. It's directed by her husband because of course it is but it's being written by George R R Martin.
Good choice and reaction to watch. This is one of my favorite movies. This has also one of my favorite actors in this besides Chris Tucker and Bruce Willis is Luke Perry (RIP)
Milla Jovovich was jet out of the best choreographed fight scene in a movie award because she and Bruce Willis are actually doing it at the end scene. That broke up the marriage between Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Hollywood's power couple at the time. So she was punished by being denied the award she should have received.
This film will be best described as Star Wars for the '90s. Both Bruce Willis & Milla Jovovich were awesome together, great chemistry but the show stopper has to be the performance from Chris Tucker.
Bruce Willis was amazing for the Fifth Element. Before he was in the Fifth Element, he was in Die Hard. He was amazing for Die Hard. Die Hard was amazing movie for Bruce Willis.
Classic sci-fi action flick. The story was quite transparently inspired by the Harry Canyon short from the 1981 animated movie _Heavy Metal_ , which adapted various science fiction and fantasy stories from the French magazine of the same name (even though director Luc Besson said that he started writing it as a teenager). The cyberpunk aesthetic that a lot of people associate with movies like Blade Runner and this one was also initially inspired by "The Long Tomorrow", a short story by Dan O' Bannon and comics artist Mobius which got adapted into that segment.
Milla Jovovich, born *Milica Bogdanovna Jovovich* was born on December 17, 1975 in Kyiv, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union (now in Ukraine). Oh! look another stunning lady.. What are they feeding you guys over there.. You're ALL unbelievably stunning. And that most certainly, includes you. 🥰
I'm a bad bad man, but every time i see a woman with one side of her head shaved, for a split second i think of Gary Oldman in this film. I'm so sorry.🤭
One of my favorite sci-fi movies. It's just silly fun. Maybe it would be better for you anime channel but I would love to see you react to the recently remastered Digimon movies and then the Digimon movies from 2020 and 2023. Doesn't seem like any streamers are doing those. They're great but under the radar.

Ruby rod × Denis Rodman😅😅
It is very much a comic book movie.

@@Billinois78You mean he was the first Die Hard.
This movie is my favorites Sci-Fi movies 🙂👍🏻✨
People love or hate this movie. Glad that you are on team love.
Chris Tucker stole the movie! ♥🤣😂🤩😁
GREEN! 💚
Bruce Willis movie suggestion - "The Whole Nine Yards". Also starring Matthew Perry r.i.p., Amanda Peet.
I'm a bad bad man, but every time i see a woman with one side of her head shaved, for a split second i think of Gary Oldman in this film. I'm so sorry.🤭
I'm looking for a priest.
Weddings are one floor down, my son. Congratulations.
Magic " boda Boom" Magy you should enjoy this one
You're watching "The Fifth Element" with an Appa plushie, and the movie has both Bilbo Baggins and Sirius Black.
Just how much more meta can you get?
Ok so who's going to cosplay as LeeLoo and who's going to cosplay as The Diva?
17:02 Eric Serra's scores and soundtracks are amazing, every time! He's involved with nearly every Luc Besson production.
31:52 and that's "Il Dolce Suono" from Donizetti's "Lucia di Lammeramoor". ❣️😊❣️
I recommend watching
Apollo 13
Deep impact

I think you may have found your new cosplay costume Magy. 😂
You should really check out the resident evil film series if you like this movie.
Please, how can her face not ring a bell: it's Milla Jovovich, the best possible Alice Abernathy for a movie about the Resident Evil game
