I love how despite that I am an avid intermediate advanced stepper, the basic is STILL a great workout! Not boring, but can get my heartrate up quickly!! Thanks Chris!
Hi Chris, thank you so much for the RUclips step aerobic videos. I first tried step on vacation last October being 8 weeks pregnant and loved it. So I came back home, bought a step and looked for videos online and found you. I was able to do the faster intermediate videos until about January or February and am now doing beginner and low impact videos, taking more breaks but still doing about 4-5 videos per week, being just 9 months pregnant now. This was a great opportunity to add the second riser which I normally don’t do with the faster bpm. It was more of a workout than I thought it would be😮. Thank you for a quick heart pumping workout!
A fun, easy class with great music. I like the added graphics with words of encouragement and swirly lines! It gives the video more movement and visual interest.

Great class Chris! Such a good idea to show the 3 different ways of doing the class too. On vacation I obviously do the Step classes on the floor so it was nice to see you do it too! Absolutely loved the choreography & Jenna is a music genius with the playlist she chose! Looking forward to the Intermediate version too! I loved step "back in the day." It was my favorite to teach. That being said, I haven't done it in at least 20 years. Well, I bit the bullet and bought a new step. It came today . I tore into that box, set it up and started out with this basic class. Had a blast. Can't wait to do another! I thought step had died. So glad to have discovered it again.
Fun workout. There will be no “pony up” for me in December. I workout next to my Christmas tree and it was shaking like crazy. Luckily it stayed standing. 😂

This was a blast! Even though I love advanced step choreography, I use to the beginner/intermediate videos to put the risers under my step and pump up that heart rate. Love that I can modify in both directions on Chris's workouts - easier or harder - depending on what I need that day.
This is exactly how I do the step workout, just on the floor, this is my first workout after a week of holiday eating/traveling and this is just what I needed, thanks Chris for another amazing workout, you rock!!!
I was surprised how sweaty I was doing a basic step, usually I do a fast basic or intermediate. I think that I was able to exaggerate the moves more with a slower pace along with not having to concentrate as much on the routine. Thank you, Love and Light ❤
Loved this one! The choreography was so much fun, almost at the intermediate level, the backup dancers were motivating, and Chris teaching was energetic and encouraging as always! Also it’s really refreshing to see an instructor who is confident enough to validate steppers at all levels… Chris shows us that it doesn’t matter what level you are at … the important thing is that we get up and move our bodies… thanks for being you, Chris! 😻.
