    Salamat doktora for giving the clearance that malunggay is a low carb plant-based food. Makakatulong ito ng malaki sa isang food developer (Rohner Abina) ng San Nicolas, Talisay, Camarines Norte. He made a special type of pansit, low carb with no preservative, by putting together Moringa oleifera (malunggay), calabaza and clam in this instant but healthy semi-noodle. It is good for snack or even as meal replacement.
    It is refreshing and encouraging to know that a medical doctor like yourself is educating our kababayan based on real nutritional science- low carb and high good fat diet. And of course, the major role of fasting (intermittent or extended) in maintaining optimum health.
    I shared this video (Malunggay & Monggo) with Mr Abina knowing that it will definitely help in the health education side for anyone who is sincerely interested in robust health and wellbeing.

      @@alfredoaganan8820 First of all, I would like to commend you for being highly observant about the inclusion of calabaza since it is in Dr Rojo-Tan’s caution list. However, malunggay is the main component of Crispy Greeny Macatu Pansit. Furthermore, calabaza is high in soluble fibre content. This type of carbohydrate is a favourite food of our gut microbiome (gut bacteria).
      Feedbacks from Macatu Pansit consumers are encouraging. It appears to be diabetic-friendly with a comment from a type 2 diabetic lady:
      “By the way, the MACATU is so great. Aside from its delicious taste, it doesn’t spike my blood sugar as compared to eating pasta with the same serving. Thanks for letting me try this product.” -EEA (19 September 2022).
      Crispy Greeny Macatu Pansit Sabsab was recently included in GMA Regional TV Balitang Southern Tagalog “Masustansiyang Pancit Na Gawa sa Malunggay, Kalabasa at Tuhoy Ibinida ng mga Mangingisda at Magsasaka sa Camarines Norte” noong Oktubre 18, 2022.

    1 cup of Mongo beans might be 40 gram but fiber is 34. So it’s not bad at all. Minggo beans is rich I potassium and magnesium. Gotta look at the other nutrients that are in it.

    Doc natatawa ako sa cnasabi na buo pa rin paglabas kc it does only mean na hindi man lng nginuya ng mabuti. May nagsabi rin sakin na kaya ayaw niya ng malunggay kc ganun nga buo pa rin paglabas. Kaya tinawanan ko siya sabi ko imposible naman na kung nginuya mo ito ng husto ay lalabas pa ng buo ano yon magic.

    Thank you. Food they medicine! you’re right about our modern foods, animal proteins (high quality) seems to be the safest to eat in these days. I’ve been on keto/low carbs under 50gram a day for 2 years now, and I used to consume about 4-5 cups of leafy veggies a day along with moderate proteins and I did feels satisfied on most days. For the passed couple of months, I seems to be eating more high quality animal proteins and good fats and I am just really more satisfied.

    Doktora ako po 2week n nag low carb huminto ako kasi nagbalik uric asid ko at gard may mali po ba sa kinakain ko kasi hindi po talaga ako kumakain ng apat ang paa mula po ako nag susuka po ako ayaw po ng tiyan ko ng manok.gulay.isda lng po kinakain ko

      We use alternatives such as unsweetened almond milk, coconut milk or heavy cream. Be mindful of the intake, they're on the caution list.
