    I love my T410s !
It was be my daily driver for 6 years before I replaced it by a used T440s (that never gave me the same satisfaction). It followed me during engineering school, my first job, multiple travels and never let me done. I almost never carried it in a bag, it was always under my arm and got knocked on every door, fell on the floor frequently, got attacked by beers... This is really a tank.
Today my T440s died so I dusted off my T410s and it's still working strong. Would need a bit more ram but a modern Linux still works great on it. What a pleasure to find back this keyboard, the thinklight and this mechanical latch ! God I love this mechanical latch and the sound of it even if it's not really a necessity for a laptop.
1.8" sata drives kind of died but for some time it was used a lot in ultraportable from other brand (like all 12" laptop from HP) but the spinning drives in 1.8" were a lot slower than the 2.5" so not so appreciated. Thinkpad only used it when SSD appeared. On my T410s I had bought an adapter Msata->1.8" to be able to buy any SSD from this time.
Some interesting points on this computer :
    - The CD burner can be removed (without tool) and a plastic blank was available as accessory. Like that the T410s get down to 1.6kg... which was veeeery light for a 14" laptop back then.
    - This same CD burner was also replaceable by a secondary battery of 34Wh, almost doubled the original 44Wh battery. Used it when I needed to last a complete day on battery and contrary to the regular 9cell batt of the day it did not protrude and the computer looked as sleek than with only the regular battery.
Your choice between light and long lasting battery, every morning.
    - The fingerprint reader was very advanced. You could configure it to be able to boot your computer. In this case you did not had to use the power button, just swipe your finger once and if it was accepted the computer will boot, pass the bios password and pass the Windows password and you arrive directly on your desktop ready to work ! Such a great workflow to start your day.
On Linux you could also boot and automatically pass the bios password but not automatically the Linux password. But you could swipe your finger to unlock your Linux and even to sudo !
It was the most advanced version of this kind of fingerprint reader but also one of the last... Apple bought the supplier and stopped providing the reader (even if they never used this model).
Fingerprint reader you can find nowadays on Thinkpad don"t need you to swipe and are better to recognize your finger but you can't boot with them (and pass every password automatically) and more importantly their driver are completely private and encrypted and to this date the Linux community still can't use them...

Does standard 2.5 inch SATA SSD fit in there? or do I have to get 1.8 inch Micro SATA SSD?

Same question... I just removed CD-ROM to replace it for a 2.5 inch SATA SSD, but it's a different model unfortunately

yea you need those 1.8" form factor to fit into that slot; there is an msata slot as well but IIRC you cannot boot from it. there are 1.8" to msata adapters on ebay though, cheaper than trying to source an original drive.

Are you sure that they didn’t come with dedicated graphics? I have seen quite a few T410s listings on eBay claiming to have an NVS 3100M installed.

The T410 definitely had the opiton, but I don't think dGPU was available on the slim until the follow on T420s with optional Optimus 4200m

      I have a T410s with the NVS 3100m, it's real, and while it's better than onboard graphics, it's basically a GT 210

I wanted to ask about T 410s speakers because i just bought it today and i found that there are two speakers designed on both left and right side of speakers but only left speaker is working because sound is not coming from the right one.
So the question is that if only one speaker is operational in T410s and the other one is just for the design?

Kindly tell me that only iam facing this issue with speakers or this is designed like this that sound will only come from one speaker.

Both speakers are real, so that one on yours may be dead, or possibly the wire is loose for it

This particular unit was donated to charity once I finished restoring it, but I'm sure you could find a similar model on eBay or other used sites still. Great machine!
