Without any measuring or timing device. Contestants to judge when they have run 1k, 3k, 5k and 10k whilst on the run. Points awarded for how many metres they are short or over the declared distance. Person with fewest metres wins. Cannot be run on a running track or at a familiar spot.

As usual Andy uses logic and strategy. Nice work all round and well done all. How about a hybrid run/pub quiz in teams?

The new format with Sarah’s commentary really made the episode stand out. It was also great seeing the interactions with the public... maybe a challenge that involves getting other runners you come across to help you do achieve goals? Or a challenge to see how many people you can get to recognize you / how many people you can convince to accept autographs from you?
@@runningchannel I’m still super new to running so I don’t know who many names... though the point is to get the presenters embarrassed by asking to sign autographs, so maybe someone that’s up for being in a really awkward situation...
Loved it, a couple interesting things I saw on a run was a guy swimming on his back in a lake while juggling 3 tennis balls, I stopped to watch for a couple minutes, only in Seattle. And then a big foot sign on a trail.
I always enjoy watching Rick out and about, as I run in the same area and enjoy spotting the locations. The point at which Rick fell over is a classic muddy part of several Cross Country race courses. Also in the woods, about 400m away from that point is a den similar to the one Anna and Andy found. If I was out running and spotted Rick, I'd say he was the famous one, but just 1 week ago I ran through that park, past the den and out on to the road to the north and saw Yianni of @Yiannimize fame filming in a Ferrari. So close Rick!
I really enjoy all your content, but this video was fantastic! Well done guys, that looked like great fun ☺️ (PS. I imagine Rick is a nightmare to play Monopoly with! 😂)
Another great video, running, and fun along the way. But I have to admit I really enjoyed the runner's comments about points scored for the event, only to see Sarah chime in with a thumbs up or down comment. :) Loved it.

Could you link a running challenge with the alphabet? maybe to do some mini challenges linked with the letters whilst out running or see some sights beginning with those letters whilst out running?
What a fun video! It was nice to finally see the person behind the voice too. And just because you SMELL the alpaca, doesn't mean you SEE the alpaca! LOL This might be a fun Covid challenge with running buddies!
That was such a great video. I hope that finally people can understand that running has to be about fun and not about best times. If you look carefully, there is so much to discover in this world that show how beautiful our planet is. For that reason you have to enjoy running because it is an opportunity to notice everything and not be lazy car drivers who even think walking to a bin is too much of an effort. Better be a runner. By the way, I have a new idea for a challenge: Everybody has one hour time to run and give a guided webcam tour of their hometown. Show the running community why your place is worth a visit and which are the best places to run in your town. You can present everything you want, so a lot of people feel tempted to spend a running holiday in your town. The running channel viewers and subscribers are allowed to vote for the best place guided tour runner. The person who walks will be disqualified, so you must run your tour.
Random acts of kindness running challenge. Maybe over 5 or 10 k. You could earn points depending on the acts. Help someone over the Rd, pop into corner shop and pay for someone's shopping! Take a photo for someone etc etc.
Great to see the face behind the voice! How good are you guys at coaching. Could you take an average runner and give them 4 weeks with you as their coach and then see their improvement over 10 km as a percentage of their time. You would set them a programme, encourage them, and then run a 10 km where your time and their improvement make the total.
This was absolutely brilliant! I'd love to see you challenge each other to run with double buggies! Up hills. In winter. With hungry cranky children 😂😂😂😂
I've been binge watching for a few days now, and this was probably my favorite episode yet. Seemed like a great time, and very entertaining for viewers. I'm learning a lot of English culture as an added bonus. What are all those dens? Are they for homeless people?
These are getting better and better, absolutely loved this one. It clearly put a lot of fun back into running. How about some sort of mini 'Run Every Street' challenge?
Id like to see the team do a leap frog challenge. The slowest person starts off first and the fastest last. For the slower athletes the challenge is to not let anyone past you. For the fastest athletes the challenge is to get to the front. This was a 'game' we played in traing when rowing teaches you to push hardest when you most tired to either stop someone getting past or trying to get past them. Definitely one to have the sick bucket out for!! :-)
I loved this! I think my friends and I might do a scavenger hunt for Thanksgiving this year since we won't be able to run the race we typically do. This looks like so much fun.

This would be an awesome new running event, especially for trail runner, post-Covid. The 10km scavenger hunt. A reason to have your cell phone on you as proof. So fastest and most points. Hmmmm....I'm thinking of bringing this idea to my club president.

My daily runs are rural illinois on gravel roads- ever run seems like a scavenger hunt. I have found some amazing stuff: a complete weight bench with bar, weights and acc in roadside. Recently a high voltage line tester worth several thousand dollars - I’ve contacted the utility company and local electrical companies and no one claims it. But sadly beer cans and old TVs are what I find most often 😜🏃♂️🏃♂️
The Running Channel plenty of acorns 😂 forgot to mention most recent find was a Stihl blower in the weeds worth over $500! - running DOES pay 😂🏃♂️🏃♂️

@@runningchannel maybe an alphabet challenge. So they have to find items/animals/people from A-Z (or A-m) whilst on a 10k run (can be trail or urban). Love to see the lovely Flora Beverley join you in a challenge too. All three very inspirational ladies x
