2022, 2023 Honda Civic Oil Light Reset

Showing you how to reset the oil life on a 2022 Honda Civic.
1. Use the steering wheel buttons located to the left of the steering wheel
2. Click “home” button
3. Scroll to “maintenance” and click on it
4. Click and hold the scroll button until the new screen pops up
5. Scroll to “All Due Items” and click

I’m not exactly sure what you mean by the headlight warning light, I’m thinking that you might be talking about the blue light that indicates that your bright lights are on…that can be turned off my pulling handle that controls your lights towards you…I hope this helps

If it's actually monitoring the oil, shouldn't it know there is fresh oil and automatically go to 100%?

Youre absolutely correct! I don’t think it actually monitors the oil, if you change the oil and don’t reset the light, it will still say the oil needs to be changed

After you change your oil, it’s best to reset the oil life so that you can properly keep track of when you should change your oil next!

@@kevinsim3368 were you able to follow these directions completely? I would try and go through the steps I show in this video again and see if it works. The “A” simply means that an oil change is due…but if it goes away the oil life should be back at 100%
