Jack stands a must
No jack stands! Your a brave person
Why did you do the oil change yourself? New Civics including other Honda models come with 2 years or 24000 miles free maintenance service.
Manufacturers do not use special oil, its just the first oil it gets..
NEVER NVER DO WHAT HE DID, JACK SFANDS and jacks, or ramps.
You talk too much
Use the ORM oil filter as the gasket seats better and once it stops you are done . I like FRAM, but the Honda one is a better fit and easy to tighten. The cyber requires a #3 bit , and it’s easy to remove and put on a 2024 as there is a slot for alignment. The Touring costs $30 for the book and filter. Only takes 3.7 quarts with filter.
23 Hondas come with free service pass!
Hmm, trusting your life to a few seals on a hydraulic jack😮
You lost all credibility when you held a fram filter.
Thank you bossing! Always love to see more civic sport content!
Great content bro thanks 👍
Cool I have this car and this is a great tutorial.
Nice to see Honda hasn't messed with the 2.0 liter engine. Same basic oil filter and not one of those dumb paper filter canister things. Keep a good thing going. I'm considering buying the same car.
Thank You!
A good friend of mine when he was a kid went outside to see how his dad was making out working on their car, and he found his dad crushed to death underneath. You gotta use jack stands or at least something solid that will prevent you from being unalived if the jack slips or fails. Chalking tires is a must as well.
I did alot of research on oils and filters. Purolator boss filter and amsoil are the best options
What about the metal washer? Did you replace it or re-use it?
I’m starting to think if you go to a better filtering filter will that cause loss in oil pressure? And if that does will that lead to premature bearing failure?
Did my first oil change on my 2023 today. And what do you know they stripped out the bolt for the cover!
