I was about 12 years old when I ran across The Outdoor Channel. Way back when it had mostly gold mining shows. One day Realtree came on with Mike and Tbone. That was the day I fell I love with bow hunting. Been my passion ever since. I met Tbone at an outdoor expo in 2011ish. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet.
Gets boring over here in a south Alabama summit viper waiting on a deer when the ruts slow. My favorite part of a slow day is to put the old headphones in and start cruising my ten favorite RUclips channels. Doesn’t matter if your a race fan, ball fan or fan of these hunting celebrities. It’s cool to be able to follow the thinks your love and folks you look up too from everywhere anytime. Thanks guys for putting the time and effort into sharing all the content!! I'm in the UK, so bow hunting doesn't happen. I'm just changing from recurve due to lower back lumbar issues, to Compound. Yes I'm a target shooter, but I'm also a 5th generation countryman, fishing, shooting , following hunting hounds alomeand can really appreciate the love and care put into this build . Got to say this channel, just by this video is my new favourite place to be ....and that ventum (in black) is my new range bow....sooooooooo smooth!...thanks guys.....

I shoot a 2002 Hoyt Hypertec, it has to be the loudest bow ever. I bought the bow brand new and even though it’s loud I don’t think I will ever get rid of it. I feel like Hoyt is making the risers thicker on the aluminum bows to get the weight up so that they are heavier than the carbon bows.

Yes, I have heard of Bone Collector and Michael Waddell but have never paid much mind to it. I'm a long time Hoyt boy who is considering the RX-5 but came across this video mainly due to it's set up content. How can you not love to be around T-Bone! He knows his stuff and just a genuine good guy. Think I found me a new RUclips channel to watch. . . .

Excellent! I have to disagree the earlier binaries did not come out of time, i shot multiple bows from Bowtech, and never had that problem! For me it’s nice to see Hoyt finally woke up LOL. I am re- interested in Hoyt again from all the excellent reviews, looks and sounds awesome!

Travis, I have a die hard Hoyt fan, but I have struggled seeing the difference in the newer bows for the last few years. Is this new cam set up a big enough jump to spend the money on upgrading?
Why the Ventum instead of the RX-5 carbon? Just curious is all. I can’t afford those $1500 Hoyt bows, I have to stick with my VXR28 until I feel the need to buy a new bow again.
o my goodness now i want one! ive been shooting the same Hoyt I bought when i was 16 years old and now im 41 years old. still shooting XX75 arrows. just never had the money to get a new one.

That trick with the micro swad sure would have saved me a headache last year lol mine came loose while in Illinois. This okie is not used to hunting in zero degree weather and neither was my bow lol
What are you doing for stabilizers with that new system below the riser, I’m guessing a lot less weight is needed?
We'll use a fuse (6 or 8") with a tactacam stabilizer mount on the end.
@@BoneCollectorTube does that new short stabalizer that comes on the bow change how you set them up now?

I just went and shot they Hoyt Ventum Pro 30 and 33. I'm hooked. But I can't decide which one I'm going to buy. I have a 28.5 inch draw. I shoot a 480 grain arrow. Which bow would you recommend??

I use to shoot a Hoyt Spyder 30, hands down my most favorite bow to date but had to sell it to pay an unexpected bill. (life happens right!) fast forward to 2020, in November I bought the Hoyt Rx-4 Because I got tired of waiting for hoyt to come out with a bow similar to the Spyder. Sure enough after buying my RX-4 they come out with the Ventum and I instantly fell in love with it. I love my RX-4 but I would trade that bow for a ventum anyday.

Would that bow be good for hunting and 3d archery shooting as well? Also im undecided on whether to get the hoyt ventum 33 or the elite enkore 33 , im interested in 3d and hunting so I need a bow that can do both well. I'm curious as to what you recommend and why so before I spend the $ I would like your opinion please, thanks.

I have a question. I have been shooting the Hoyt Nitrum Turbo Bone Collector for the last 5 years and love it. I want to upgrade to the RX-5 but have heard great things about the Ventum. Is it worth the extra money to go with the RX-5 or would the Ventum be the better buy?
Glad to see Hoyt enter the binary world. It's about time. Now maybe they will have a bow with a usable valley. Plus it will be easier to tune compared to the cam 1/2 bows.
Man I had to shoot the ventum 30 and the RX-5 to decide which one to pick. After an hour of shooting both I ended up getting the RX-5. Can't wait for it to come in. Ordered 5 weeks ago dealer told me 6-8 weeks. Hopefully that it will be in soon!!!

How would you rate the binary cams to the RX 1-4 easier to tune?I thought the yoke system was pretty simple/reliable.
This is binary cam with a single yolk. The means far less side pull...string stretch issues are no more. Way easier to tune and def stays in tune also.
@@kee7678 I watched in another review,the no.1 cam at 28 inches hit 216 fps,352 grains arrow weight,pretty impressive for sure .honestly though,I went 7 1/2 years before having any issues with Hoyts factory strings.I'll be looking hard at this years,maybe sell the 2011 & 2018 Hoyts.THANK YOU for the information n happy hunting
I have the ventum 30. Shooting at a 70lb draw, 29.5” length. HHA optimizer lite, Qad ultra rest Looking into a stabilizer set up but don’t know where to start. What length/weight would be ideal for my build for front and rear?

Any ideas on when manufacturers will have sights for the in-line mount? I want one of these bows, but want to wait until I can get all the right accessories.

As a mathews guy I went and shot all new flagship bows beside pse (hasn't come in yet). Surprisingly I'm liking that ventum 33 and solution the most. Nexus held like a boss but that draw cycle wasn't friendly. Might be converting to hoyt this year
I haven’t gotten a chance to shoot the new Hoyts. How did the RX5 compare to the V3?
@@Thisshitcrazybruh hoyts new cams are butter draw cycle compare to v3 which surprised me. I did not shoot rx5 much because never been a fan of carbon bows and its same weight as the aluminum this year. That vetum 33 was the ticket and was quite efficient for lower ibo. I'm stuck between hoyt or bowtech so far and I know that pse evl 34 will be butter
T-Bone...Can you share a link to maybe your how to video of how you wrap your rest fork's micro suede? I've seen some and they apply too much as the wrap the entire fork prong end to prong end to include the center on their way through.... but it looks like you only do a few wraps in center..can you show how you do it? TIA

I’ll even take you bass fishing on Lanier if you would build my bow when it comes in. I used some money my dad left me when he passed in August and was hoping to hunt this season but that didn’t happen.
Not trying to take anything away from your great video, but that d-loop should be tied with the knots opposite to what is shown (for a right hander). That will avoid excess torque on the bow string. The version tied in the video would suit a leftie. I enjoyed the video a lot though. Regards.

Yes you can.
Yes. That’s what I’m going to do when mine comes in. Run a 10 inch down there. It should act like a 15-16 stabilizer.
