- Tensions arise in the Alpha Quadrant. The Dominion is trying to divide the factions to destabilize the region and take over. Klingons against Cardassians, Federations against Klingons - the more they fight amongst themselves, the weaker they get against the Dominion.
We are David Frank and Christian Lerch and this is a fun project we do in our spare time. We are Motion Designers, Star Trek Fans and Sci-Fi nerds.

What you've done here is nothing short of outstanding. The composition, sequencing, music, dialogue selection is the best work I've ever seen in anything related to or associated with Star Trek. It wouldn't look out of place in a theatre. I've never seen LCARS look so beautiful and alive either. Fantastic!
AGREED 100% on all counts, the LCARS sequences made me weep, the beautiful ships, renderings, camera angles, lighting, the transitions!!!! the music and choreo of all elements, i'm literally crying here with how beautiful this is.

Every few months I watch this and remember why I believe DS9 is my favorite series. A thousand times thank you for creating these perfect trailers!

@@jackbj this shows nothing about what ds9 is really about and is just a montage of tech demos with voice overs. Cbs shows actual footage from the show and shows what the show is like.
@@thewewguy8t88 Only it does show the themes portrayed over the season, and it does so without the assets of the actors. To be honest, CBS's trailers have far less thought put in to them and amount to little more than action schlock with a one liner thrown in at the most predictable times.
CBS should learn from the heart and detail put into these fan trailers. It is the heart of Trek that has been missing since 2005.

Amazing work! The last shot of the Klingons surrounding DS9 looked so much more impressive than the actual show!
There is no actual show... Real Trek ended 2005... all after that is just a bad replica (with the possible exception of "Lower Decks").

Good God that was amazing! I've seen the series seasons 1 thru 7 and back again multiple times and I've never been this hyped for it. That was incredible.

The way the schematic of the Lakota turned into the actual Lakota was an incredible piece of eye candy. Just brilliant!

Fantastic! Seeing this in high resolution really makes me hope that Star Trek returns to its original universe one day. Those Mike Okuda designs alone...I've done so much interface design in the past and always admired these distinct designs. You really managed to capture the beauty of LCARS and the other elements very well.
You've got to show some of this to Ira Stephen Behr for possible use in his upcoming DS9 documentary, "What We Left Behind." That might get CBS's attention!

Unfortunately Jar Jar Abrams already ruined the original universe by blowing up Romulus, who thought that was a good idea? They did it a completely implausible manner as well, a supernova that threatens the entire galaxy?! What!
I've said it on facebook, but I'll say it again here ... this amazing! ... It is incredible how much drama and emotion you've been able to evoke with nothing but voice over, 3D animation, and exceptional use of music and editing!!!
... I say "nothing but" ... but don't think I'm downplaying how amazing this is and how much work it must have taken ... really genuinely so fantastic guys! I hope we can look forward to seeing more amazing work from you.

That was glorious, inspired by the Prophets if I may say so. These homegrown trailers/promos for DS9 give me life. The dudes who put them together should be coveted by, at very least, the advertising departments of every Hollywood studio.

Outstanding. This is the best trailer you've produced so far, although they're all wonderful. The models, the animations, the transitions, the music... absolutely exceptional, and matches the rising drama of the show perfectly.

Beautifully done. I'm a few years late but all the same it's well made. From the nicely designed graphics and "camera work" to the way you successfully did what a trailer, particularly a teaser, is made to do: give you a taste.
This is when I jumped onto this series. A head shaven Sisko, Worf now on board, pissed off Klingons, and the rising Dominion. We are rolling now!!! 🤘😁
