@@Claudanne2 I would argue that Dukat announcing the Cardassian Union has joined the Dominion is a major spoiler for season 4, since a large part of the season revolves around him being a renegade from the Central Command, fighting the Klingons and being on the same side as Sisko and the Federation. Knowing he joins the bad guys once again kinda ruins that whole ark.
Klingons are so amazing. And it just fits that they are the allies of the Federation. Honor and purpose in lockstep. When the fleet rams into the Dominion lines in Sacrifica of Angels and the two Birds of Prey commanded by what must have been bloodwine-drunk bloodlusted Captains charged straight into Dominion Battleship weapons fire and bit the fucking dust as they obliterated a Dominion Battleship and cleared a path for the Defiant to DS9. Wow. Songs will be sung. Stovokor has earned new warriors.

The visuals in this are beyond stunning. I can't decide which I like the most, the Dagger becoming the vor'cha which then goes to warp, which then becomes a computer display or that shot of DS9 opening it's weapon ports and the dominion battlecruiser flying overhead
Right? I could see taking out an Oberth with a bat'leth, but the Excelsior was blessed by Stan Lee himself, which made it a much tougher class of ship.
I don't mean to be disrespectful to anyone, but who? I grew up on TNG and DS9 and then VOY and later ENT, but I haven't really followed it since the reboot or the post ENT timeline (discovery, etc). Did some of the actors pass away? I had heard the young Checkov from the new movie died in a car accident (the dude was so young...), but am not sure which people it's referring to and want to know. Did some more people die? Man, seems like so many people dying these days. Just a little bit ago Nemoy died, Chewie and Carrier Fisher from Star Wars... so many lately...
Unfortunately, they'd likely have to refilm it, or at the very least redo all the post-processing. I don't think this was shot on film like TNG was, so you're completely limited by the resolution that was encoded into the videotape. Yes, there are various methods of upscaling, but they'd pale in comparison to a true 1080p remaster from film stock
Magnificent. I can't possibly imagine a DS9 fan who would not love this ♥️ PLEASE, if possible I would love to see a trailer like this for the 7 part finale miniseries.
AtlasFox the last part of the Seventh Season is a group of episodes starting with “Penumbra: Part 1” and ending with “The Dogs of War: Part 8” that are supposed to act as a conclusion for most of the series’s story. Each is (as I’m sure you’ve gotten) numbered Part 1-8, however the last episode of the series is actually “What We Leave Behind: Parts 1 & 2” which is immediately after that long grouping (at least when you look via Netflix, I don’t have the energy to check my DVD set).

You know, as a kid, I was TNG all the way. As an adult, DS9 is my favorite Star Trek show. If we step into a future similar to Star Trek, I think DS9 probably most accurately reflects the development and conflicts we will experience.
Oh wow! I've actually got tears in my eyes after this (especially with the dedication card for Aron and Rene!). This was so epic and spot-on. I loved the crashed Excelsior and the "Call To Arms" battle. But as it drew to an end, I found myself thinking "Are they going to do the big fleet at the end?" The "Two Steps From Hell" music made it even more epic (I've got all their music on my Apple Music library as I'm a massive fan!)! Thank you so much for making this! It was brilliant!
JPWPhoenix Yeah, I was already tearing up at this dramatic video of the show I love before they put the dedication to Aron and Rene at the end. I shouldn't have watched this sitting in my car in a public parking lot.
This show is, in my view, the pinnacle of what Star Trek has achieved. It takes the values and ethics developed over several decades and puts them to the test, determining if this Federation can survive the ruthlessness of war and come out clean on the other side.
Man, the use of music at the end... perfect. For my money, the _Star Trek : Deep Space 9_ theme song is second only to what Jerry Goldsmith did with the main title theme in _Star Trek : The Motion Picture_ in it's execution and excellence.

This reminds me of like some of the new ways they are doing the graphics and mixed with the way they used to do the model and CGI shots for the shows/movies. It would have been about some event during the Dominion War. It would have had the cinematic of a big space battle, but therein, a personal story would have been told. My personal one would have been about Gul Dukat and his daughter. or Garak centered movie.
