Obi-Wan saying "Bring Vader too, I promise we won't fight" makes me realize how desperately we need a movie about the light side and dark side of the original trilogy reluctantly teaming up for a bigger threat but discovering by the end that the real Force was the friends they made along the way
Isn't that basically the Yuuzhan Vong? There's a novel that indicated Palpatine created the Empire partly to protect the galaxy against them.
It's a story about family
The animated format really showcases how great Mike is at replicating the voices of Palpatine and Yoda. This is, in all ways, adorable.
I love the design of Palpatine.
He looks like Korvax from the Muzzy series.

Mikes Palpatine voice is REALLY good. I always thought it was super goofy but hearing it over a Palpatine animation really sells it.

I love this type of stuff, since there’s so much character you can fit into cartoons or animation. RLM is also the perfect material for animations because they go on these “monologues” (monologues!) where they write out the script and dialogue themselves. It’s a great combination!
Good stuff, what I like about this the most is that it’s about family, and that’s what makes it so powerful.
I love Mike telling them the story like they're at summer camp and he's telling the story of The Hook or something 😂😂😂

I didn’t think it was possible for RLM to get any better but this has taken it to a whole new level of awesome.
These are the greatest. It really has an 80s vibe, there was a trend of well-illustrated, highly-stylized animation with extreme extremes set to very blunt voice overs, not intended to be animated over. It was a great time since it kinda caught on in a subculture sort of way. This has the visual touch of "The Cat Came Back" and "Æon Flux". I just love it and it's quite nostalgia-triggering. I hope they've seen these. Well done!
