I think she did the right thing. If she called and cancelled on him, he would of known what was up and killed them. If she rang the police... like her mum said, it was out of her states jurisdiction which would send her into a panic, maybe they’d take her in for questioning which again... he would know something was up and would hide evidence. Many arrests are thwarted because people jump the gun and have no evidence for their claims but are so close to the assailant that they notice something’s up.

She is emotionally scarred for life. She will treat man with avoidance and disdain for the rest of her life. People can carry hurt, grudge and distrust for a lifetime. It is a heavy burden taking its toll on them. People harm themselves tremendously, simply by assuming a feelings mind set. Sometimes ,they are not even aware of it. Its like being crippled emotionally.

(they’re consenting adults so the age gap isn’t necessarily important but if one thinks it is, it’s more odd for the 49 y/o than the 26 y/o)
I'm still trying to get my head around how she married a man who she didn't even know. No one in their right mind would marry someone who doesn't disclose what they do for a living... red flag right there as it screams secretive, dishonest, and untrustworthy.

Cannot stand the music in this documentary. Makes it almost unwatchable, too distracting and humorous.
I love these docuseries/dramatizations because it shows that anyone could really be not what they seem. Not saying that everyone or anyone in your life is a psychopath, just saying. I'm happy that she was able to get out of this horrible situation in her life, sadly some don't get to.
