I would like to hear more about mortgages. Almost every other source I've seen makes it sound as if mortgages are very difficult to get, but she makes it sound otherwise. Does she have experience with this, and if so, can you do a follow up?

Hi! We are considering retiring in Ecuador and we are considering Salinas, Ecuador. What would say, $150,000 buy there and is it a good place for Expats from Ohio live?
Hey there! First, I think if you’re considering retiring to Ecuador I think that’s awesome, I’m sure you’ll love it here and Salinas is considered very tranquil/relaxing. And about your question, I talked to my friend to be sure but when it comes to Salinas you’d probably be able to get an economic department at around that amount. She also recommended that if you’re not exactly looking to live in a big(ish) city like Salinas that Puerto Cayo is somewhat similar but it’s a smaller fishing town and you’d be able to get a house with that amount. Another alternative is Canoa. And if you wanted to take Manta into consideration which is where my friend specifically works (so she could guide you more there) she says that it’s a smaller city than Salinas but very similar to it and that amount would probably also get you a (beachside) department there. In tons of groups new RUclipsrs we are always given advice to try to keep things interesting and one way has always been to include music, just to kinda have something in the background so it’s not just talking, a lot of people get kinda sleepy or distracted when it’s just a video of a person talking. That being said I appreciate the advice, I’m always learning and I have been trying to incorporate more pictures and text to focus on the visual elements a bit more, since I know that seeing things also helps keep the video engaging.
