This is my favorite Kingdom performance. They understood the assignment and made the song their own.
I also love that they used Kingdom to tease their Geurrilla comeback a year later.

That blimp plays a part in ATEEZ’s lore in the MV for Guerrilla. Yes, even their Kingdom performances are riddled with lore.
What you saw at the end was “Halateez” stealing back the hourglass (in ATEEZ lore it’s called a cromer). In the lore it’s what they use to move between World A and World Z.

YG would never let anyone put covers of their groups song, so a lot of songs from Kingdom didn't get introduced due to this rule and other ones like it

I watched Kingdom because of Stray Kids (accidently watched Road to KIngdom first but not mad about it) and as such have now widened my pool of Kpop I'll listen to. I was so impressed with the hard work these guys put into their performances that it's hard not to appreciate them. Even if you don't have the time to make reaction videos to all the KIngdom performances, I'd recommend watching them just for the awesomeness alone.
The pride and joy that we felt as atiny when we saw this for the first time... I still go back to this one for this cover. It's amazing the way they wove their lore through this entire series. Nothing like it!!

We really should do a deep dive into the Kingdom shows-they are some great performances.
im actually kinda glad you didnt choose the version with the reactions, mnet edit it with so many cuts and repeats that it kinda ruined the performance or at least made the performance loose momentum and it got a little annoying imo.
That's why I used to watch the full performances on RUclips before watching the episode.

Personally I don't like this cover. To make it yours is one thing but I don't like it when a cover changes too much and loses the essence of the original song. This was the case for me. As a performance it's great but the song cover itself is meh.
