Rightfully so.. that was a very risky setup and looking back, less than 6 months later Felix had to miss some events because of his back. Not sure, but it was probably already starting to give him problems during the production of Kingdom.

This performance song calls Wolf, originally by EXO and It's cover by Straykids (Minho,Felix,I.N,), Ateez (Seonghwa,Yunho,Yeosang,San,Wooyoung) and BTOB (Peniel). I really recommend you to watch Kingdom too since you already start watching I-Land.
this was dance performance stage with felix, lee know and I.N from stray kids, seonghwa, san, yunho, wooyoung and yeosang from ateez and peniel from btob.
they basically split the 6 battling groups into 2 teams and made them compete in a vocal, rap and performance category. but that's just one part of the competition! i recommend you watch the whole thing, maybe after you're done with your i-land reactions :D

kingdom performances are so epic and good. like watching ateez's from the wonderland performance on kingdom for the first time changed the trajectory of my life
im sure everyone agrees that MAYFLY is the best thing that ever happened in Kingdom. Also, I've been rewatching this but Felix's interaction with San and Wooyoung still gets me. but esp bowed down to San, legit felt the wolf in him-and just remembering how Lee know grilled I.N and how I.N improved his dance from this perf. and how Peniel (the bald guy) had to prep his "old" bones for that krumping bit 🤣
The behind the scenes when they were preparing for this was so cute they are all friends but wooyoung and Felix got really close and wooyoung has been friends with changbin since they were trainees
I was just a Baby Atiny when Kingdom started, but it really cemented my love for the group by the end. All of their stages were amazing! And I really liked learning about the groups I wasn't familiar with at the beginning.

Thank you. One of my favorite collaborations on Kingdom. The bald guy is Peniel who is in the group called BtoB and he is from California speaks fluent English and an awesome guy. The song was a cover song called Wolf originally sung by EXO i would suggest you watch the original one. This was the dance collaboration performance and they didn't have to sing the song but I loved that they did and distributed the lines really well with all the members. Ateez had 5 members out of 8 members in the dance performance. Stray Kids had 3 out of the 8 and BtoB had 1 out of the 4 that were performing on Kingdom a few of the BtoB members were in military services at the time and wasn't apart of the kingdom. Ateez had 1Mingi member on health hiatus and wasn't apart of Kingdom same for Stray Kids but it was a rumor that caused Hyunjin to be on hiatus. Hyunjin did get to perform in the introduction Kingdom performance it was also a wolf style for their song Miroh and it was amazing. Love to see you react to that Miroh kingdom performance. its only 100sec long. not the full song.
this was round 3 of the competition show "kingdom: legendary war" in which 6 groups competed: stray kids, ateez, the boyz, sf9, ikon and btob. in round 3, they separeted these 6 groups into 2 teams: stray kids, ateez and btob became one team (which was named "mayfly" by the 3 groups),;ikon, sf9 and the boyz became one team. each team formed 3 units (dance, vocal, and rap units) to compete against each other, and at the end of each unit performance, 31 (i believe) dance, rap, vocal, production etc. experts in the jury voted which team did better. this was the mayfly team's dance performace. (spoiler) mayfly won in all of the categories (dance, vocal, and rap). i recommend you watch the other performances of mayfly and stray kids from kingdom, they worked so hard and they all did so well!
You GOTTA watch the whole Road to Kingdom episodes!! The performances are literally so epic 🙌 and you'll see alot of these Groups working together like this aswell ✨

Kingdom was an entire evolutionary event. Literally. Wolf is one of the most iconic EXO songs ever and they DID THE DAMN THING. Love it!

The guy with the low cut is Peniel. Fun fact, he's from Chicago. He's awesome! He even had a hair disease which is why he lost like 70% of his hair and keeps his hair low on purpose now. But he doesn't let it affect him or his performances and I admire him so much for it!

If others haven't said it, this was one of many performances over the span of months between 6 different Kpop groups- BtoB, Ikon, SF9, The Boys, Stray Kids and Ateez.
Each group had amazing performances. Each with a different style.
For background there is a behind the scenes of this performance which might explain it a bit more. But like others said before, check out them all. Actually, one of my favorites was the Mayfly Vocal group performance which made me literally cry while listening. Even shared it with family who are not kpop fans and they Loved it, even without understanding the Hangul(Korean) lyrics.
Kingdom Legandary war was a competion Show Sith the best 6 kpop groups: ateez, stray kids, the boyz, btob, ikon and sf9. The Show was mindblowing
Recommend to watch all episode....that is really amazing.....not only vocal and their dance moves but also the things it is hard to see in individual group, like hidden talents....the rapper can sing in High note...Stage arrangements, creativity, stories wow...they are so chic!

Lol, the buzz cut guy is Peniel of BTOB. Please check them out! Super chill guy, not as scary irl, well if he gets angry at some point you probably don't wanna mess with him. BTOB are good dancers, they're not too dance performance focused, but they do dance a lot even though they focus on the live performance, vocals and rap. Super talented group! If you wanna watch BTOB's Kingdom stages I recommend ep 1, 5 and ep 9. If you wanna watch BTOB MV and live stages I recommend: I'll be your man, Outsider, Missing you, and Way back home.

And that was the performance of dance unit of Stray kids / Ateez / BtoB (in kingdome legendary war, an emission that opposed Stray kids / Ateez / BtoB / SF9 / Icon / the boyz) so it's normal that you are more into the performance, that was the idea ^^

Well it was the dance unit so the dance was meant to be felt not the song but it was only Btob, Ateez and Stray kids since they divided the groups into two units so three in groups in one group and the 'bald guy' was Peniel from BTOB

So the guy with the bald head, his name is Peniel. He’s actually from Chicago. He was diagnosed with alopecia and made the decision to shave his head. It was a huge thing because a big part of an idols appearance is their hair. He was afraid that he’d face consequences and lose his group, BToB, fans.
The blonde guy with the bright green eyes at the end is Felix (Yongbok). He’s from Australia and is lauded to have the lowest voice in kpop. He was 19 when his group, Stray Kids, recorded a song called God’s Menu where they let his deep voice shine.
This performance was part of the “dance” competition in Kingdom. It consists of the main dancers from ATEEZ, Stray Kids, and BToB.
You should watch the vocal performance of Love Poem by Jongho (ATEEZ), Seungmin (Stray Kids), and Eunkwang (BToB). It’s so gorgeous. It moved me to tears.

The guy with the shaved head is Peniel he's from the group BTOB. Also, his head is shaved because he used to have alopecia, which is an disease that causes hair to fall out. Because most of his hair fell out he ended up just shaving it he's had a shaved head for years.

Omg you have to try Road to Kingdom if you ever have the time to, The Boyz are on another level and their performances are always jaw dropping...literally had the contestants and viewers stunned with their concepts, choreographies, talent and performance connections.
I love Ateez, Stray Kids and BTOB. They are 3 of my favorite groups. I just wasn't wild about the song they chose.
Kingdom is the spin-off of Road To Kingdom, which The Boys won. RTK had some really good performances also. I enjoyed The Boys, VeriVery & TOO.

Bald guy is Peniel from BTOB (pronounced B-to-B). He was chosen as main dancer via roulette wheel. (I'm not kidding.) His krumping solo here was pretty much the first time he'd danced hardcore in about 2 years (BTOB had been on military hiatus and don't have a lot of 4th gen style dances since they do more ballads.)
edit: Also... this version of Wolf is to me the better sounding one. I'd rather have icepicks shoved in my ears than listen to the original ever again. I'm a dedicated Wolf anti and have been since the song dropped. Growl is far superior for me. Wolf is a weird ass song with weird ass lyrics, but people apparently like it (can't relate sorry not sorry). So unless you're ready for that weirdness... don't go looking for the original.
