I feel silly that I watched this MV way too many times and never figured out that they used the parrot for the "chipmunk" voice because ATEEZ are pirates! Someone else had to point that out to me.

Another thing I liked in this is the way the bullet sounds were handled, they were a part of the rhythm, not it's own obnoxious sound like other music videos.
3:42 I fully relate, I typically hate the chipmunk voice stuff yet somehow it works and it's good? It could be in part that the first time either of us heard it (since the first time was watching the video when it came out too) the voice was shown coming from the Parrot, so we just kinda accept it because that's the parrot singing it again, even if it's not on screen (or its a live stage or just audio). Also, hilariously, the members like to sin along with that part when they did encore stages after music show wins

I think the chipmunk voice works also bc it adds some humor & lightness to this beat? And pairs with this character driven, sensory overload, pop zeitgeisty MV (anime, westerns, apocalyptic, foght club, undercover cops, heisty, etc). Idk. It's addictive for sure. Great drop. Nice switch ups.

The parrot voice is hongjoongs voice the one with blue hair that sings the slow it down make it bouncy part leading it he said they just raised the tempo on it to make it that high 😊
I about died when I saw the parrot. They missed the chance to allude to that joke from Kingdom by not making it Seonghwa's voice.

I liked the way they visualized the air movement behind the bullet--it shows the bullet is spinning and for a brief moment echoes the look of the rifling.

Was my first time able to catch a live but of course got pulled away like 5 mins in! wahhh lol I'm so sad I would've loved to see you react to this live with all my lore knowledge that i'm still learning!! I feel like you would appreciate that they do not have a leader they have a "Captain". This is my first comeback with them and it was one of the most exciting things i've ever seen. They had a showcase the night before the drop that I ended up staying up until (it started at 4am) like 6am for. The way they got so many of us holding our breath for this dance practice to be released too! I saw the voice tuned and it was funny but didn’t like it on the short.. but on the video.. it goes down on the playful it is Hongjoong’s sound edited! They were playing and heard it and liked it.. and I agree with you.. like they have beautiful voices and sometimes i am like ohh i do not need all that.. but they also can do play full and mixes and I am now obsessed with the sound!
I know nothing of weapons. BUT HE LOOKS GOOD. AND that is all i needed on the shot 😂😂

Something to remember about South Korea, all the men on set, over 28 yrs old, served in the military, they would all know how to use the guns and make it look real. Thanks so much for taking the ATEEZ journey, my ult K-Pop group!
I also love that by using editing, they managed not to do any close up fight choreography. Everything was done with plenty of distance, so less precision is needed, less rehearsal, and no risk of getting hurt.

8:18 I don’t wanna say your wrong cause that’s what I thought at first but if you notice the glass is slightly to his left which is why on the right side you can see the reflection of his shadow and in the shot before it was slightly to his left. So it’s more detailed than we thought

Hello Sir, I would like to give you information about the successful K-Pop band Ateez. The concept of the Ateez band is a story, and in every comeback a continuation of the events of this story. The story talks about young people and their dreams, and it is an epic and purposeful story.
I'm glad you're honest, like me, this song and dance is very cool and iconic, the first and middle parts are super nice, only the voice changer for the chorus broke me down and almost turned me off. I don't know what the producer is thinking, many people including me, I like Djungo the most in this album, I hope you can listen to it. Also epic music. Many people asked KQ to shoot the MV.
I'm glad you like Mingi. Although his voice is deep and big, he has a delicate heart, so he suffered from stage fright. My bias is San, but I like Mingi to get more encouragement. His voice is super special.
Couple of things!
-Atiny are Ateez fans! It's Ateez+destiny, because Atiny are their destiny and without them theres no Ateez
-They're had 3 series with their albums, Treasure, Fever (actually prologue story wise), and now the recent one is World, and World pt2 outlaw is just the new album that Bouncy is on.
-Money in the mouth to give the illusion of a cigar or cigarette, like you'd think to see in one of the underground manager types, BUT smoking is seriously looked down on with idols, so they used the money instead. Same feel, but it won't get the video censored or in trouble with the broadcast companies.
-My one issue with the shot scene is that I wish they had filmed Hongjoong talking the shot in the direction they'd have the bullet go the rest of the time, just for that story continuity.
I also winder if you caught the required Akira reference with the bikes in the first verse? There's the light trails, and then Yeosang (the one in red that does rap later) does The Slide
The chipmunk voice is the parrot singing (there is probably a reason, they are pirates, so maybe its like a cute little thing to remind us). I agree usually its annoying and unnecessary but somehow it works.

I have always love siren and pirates, love Ateez lore,their choreo,their charm, super talented,love vocals and they never ever forget to thank their staff! The leader is big on showing gratitude to the staff ,not just company staff but everywhere they go! That’s his #1 rule,never forget about them!

This song is from the type that every time I listened to me I loved it more and Ateez made this type of songs according to the desire of the Atinys because they wanted something summery and refreshing, unlike Ateez epic songs, and the songs on the album are all wonderful and beautiful. You will really like it because it is sexy and mature. Writing I am Iraqi and I do not speak English completely, so I use the translator, he is my savior.
You might be confused because in most Ateez MVs they wear different clothes like cowboys or motorbikes, that's the concept because they share tasks to complete missions.
