Sounded like it was a really fun night! Great food brings people together I believe. I used to love hosting pot luck suppers way back when. I would make enormous heaping bowls of pasta and it was so rewarding for me to just see it disappear. You always have interesting stories to tell. See you in your next video.🙂
There is something endearing about this story of bread. You helped me to remember a very proper English woman I had the pleasure of having tea and cake with over 24 years ago. I loved listening to her stories too. Thank You Dee😊

Thank you for asking. Sadly s/He died yesterday. I did my best but feel was carrying an injury. Buried in garden with a flower on top and my grateful thanks for bringing pleasure and allowing me to share time with him/her. I always get sad at such times .. am just a softie! D

I was waiting for the inevitable: when the electric came back on, that the tablecloth was ruined by red stains from the beetroot and red cabbage 🤣 much to your horror
It was a lovely damask cloth that I got from second hand place. It was covered in ink stains and all sorts of other stains and is huge. It spent ages in a big tub of bleached water so it was a replay of this!! It lives on many years later. D
