I was there this night. There was not a single dry eye in the house during this track. My entire row was absolutely BAWLING. The moment when we all sang, "But it's alright, yeah, it's alright" over and over before Dave screamed 'EASY FOR YOU TO SAY!" was the most powerful moment I've ever experienced at a gig. It's bringing me to tears all over again just thinking about it.
I come back to this video often. It one of the most memorable concerts I've ever been to, and this song especially was so powerful. Singing along with 80,000 fellow Foo fans to this, especially not knowing at that point how or if the band was going to go forward. I'm happy to say I've seen them twice since this show and they are resilient and so great to see in person.
