Man I did not expect this to happen. Its really so sad. I am not even a big Foo Fighters fan but Taylor always seemed like a very charismatic guy in interviews. I hope he rests easy, where ever he is right now.

God, I am still so shocked and saddened to hear the news about Taylor. So untimely. RIP to one of the greatest of all time and a true legend of music, as well as a wonderful human being 😢

Was really sad to hear about Taylor today. Rest in Peace, friend, and love and support to his wife and children, and obviously to Dave, who I'm sure is going to miss him terribly. All you have to do is watch any video with the two of them to see that they were truly the best of friends.

Taylor Hawkins - one of the greatest drummers to ever throw down. Heartbroken that he passed. Gone too soon. Prayers to the band and his family amidst this sudden and incredibly difficult time. Foo Fighters will never be the same but us fans love you all just the same.

All the leg rubbing/scratching possibly could be from opioids, which is one of the 10 substances reported in his system after death.
💯 Had to scroll far down to finally see a comment that addresses the obvious to anyone familiar with an opiod addict's behavior. One eye randomly drooping, drops his hand like it weighs a ton, rubbing his legs and face, spaces out hard while Dave speaks (Dave appears to notice)...Taylor was seriously struggling here. Eerily, I saw another clip just about a week ago that made me wonder what he was on, but I don't follow the Foo Fighters and figured I was looking too much into his behavior.

Taylor Hawkins was always such a humble and loving friend to Dave, as Dave was to Taylor. “I thought it was really cool” 🥺 Taylor was always by Dave’s side in interviews, all these years. As talented as they both are, I think fans love them for their personalities. They are so respectful towards each other. True brothers through and through 💙

If you're referring to the substances found in his urine, they're consistent with prescription medication for pain, we don't actually know what quantities were in his system, that will be toxicology and will take weeks. I hope it's not, but we don't know yet.

@@AthanImmortal they also found illicit drugs in his system, like marijuana and cocaine, and his heart was enlarged to TWICE the normal size. My guess is the non-prescription drugs interacted adversely with the prescription ones.

This one is the one that really hurts Grohl coz it's the 2nd time that he lost a bandmate tragically. And Taylor is the longest that hed been as a bandmate. 26 yrs. Half of your life is with this guy as a bandmate so this really is painful for Dave. I just wish him that he'll recover with this one soon and he will not isolate himself again from music the way he did when Kurt Cobain died.

Not a huge Foo Fighters fan but I'm a big Grohl fan. If you've seen any recent interviews with him, he has the drive and stamina of an 18 year old. He says he wakes up at 4 or 5 am and is ready to go and wants to do things. Anyway, I don't think he'll give up at all.

Never been a fan of the Foo Fighters, but i always liked Dave and Taylor, and their chemistry. Taylor always seemed like such a relaxed sunshine dude to me. The message hit really hard. Blessings to his family and friends. May they always feel the sunbeams they got from him.

Same. Never a big fan overall, but have always been a fan of Taylor and Dave as people. Their bright spirits made the world a much better place. Absolutely gut-wrenching to lose one of them. Not here. Not now. The world needs a million Taylors.
@@kathrync8632 with all that drug addiction though... that usually has a root cause in trauma, the light we see is but a sliver. There's a lot of pain, darkness and struggle. Unfortunately it rippled out. His drug addiction didn't only effect him, but his wife, kids...the most. And of course others.
We don't need a million of him. We need millions getting treatment, trauma treated, so they can let their own individual lights shine unhindered by the weight of all those unhealed wounds.
Rest in peace to one of the greatest drummers in rock and roll.

Look at the off-beat energy between Dave/Taylor; a perceptable flinching from Taylor...just an observation. Amazing tho - peaceful flight from the earth plane, Taylor.
RIP Taylor! Damn shame! Add another name to my list of favorite rockers who died too young, Particularly grunge/Seattle dudes. RIP Taylor, Layne, Chris Cornell, Andrew Wood, Mike Starr, Scott Weiland, Kirk Kobain, Mark Lanegan, and even Shannon Hoon. So many talented artists and great/kind souls.

Dave and the guys of the foo’s I’m so sorry to hear about Taylor, words will not describe what you all feel, this news hit me like a tunnelling train! The years you all spent together making music, travelling the world, making rock history, being best friends, I am so so very sorry for all your losses, this is a sad sad day in rock history, too soon Taylor, those skins needed beating for at least 20 more years, find piece my friend! One thing I have long noticed about Taylor is that when he is not performing, he looks SO uncomfortable. Just watch how fidgety he is when Dave is talking.
