Dave Grohl is one of the greatest musicians to walk the earth. Being in Nirvana, Foo Fighters and more, he has accomplished so much and he still has so many more years ahead of him. Such a nice guy. Legend!

I was lucky enough to work with mom Grohl at a flower shop, briefly for a holiday, ages ago. She bragged about her son in the cutest way. Northern Virginia loves you Dave!

Not only is Dave one of the best people in the world, but his shoe game is fire too.
I've heard for long time that Dave Grohl is one of the nicest men in rock, up to and including him releasing a Foo Fighters album at a low price as an apology because he didn't think the previous one was as good as it could have been.
This cuddly bear is the same guy responsible for the ferocious drum assault on every Nirvana record.

Dave is the reason i started playing guitar. His music and the person he is inspired me when i was only 9 years old. My dad played songs from Nirvanas first record Bleach & it literally changed my life.
the foo fighters really grew on me over the past few years. I use to hate them . songs were boring but something changed in the not too long ago now i LOVE them. Everlong and the pretender and learn to fly are AMAZING Dave is a great artist!

Never been a huge Foo Fighters fan, but I've always treasured dave. All the guys in Nirvana where major friends, despite all the bullshit that eventually happened, and to continue creating after kirts death had always inspired me.
As an "edgy nineties Kid", according to my 9 year old daughter, If Dave Grohl says you are my drummer, you are "The" Drummer.

Saw the Foo Fighters on Secret Solstice in Iceland in 2017. To this day the best live performance I have ever seen. They had more energy than an atomic bomb, went on for an hour and a half without even needing a breath and could have gone on for three. They outshined everybody at that festival.

it's funny, because in Nirvana, Dave hardly ever spoke in public - it was mostly Kurt and I've read about and watched interviews about this perspective - I get it, but now, you can't get him to shut up, which is a lotta' fun, because he's a great storyteller

Brian Johnson did a show like that, and actually interviewed Dave on that series :P So it's not something that hasn't been done before really is it? Look forward to seeing it though!
Dave interviewed Brian Johnson for his documentary on the same day. Brian's show isn't about touring vans, though. He just travels around, talking to musicians about their careers. The episode with Dave just focused on vans a bit more since Brian was also there to do Dave's documentary.
Like all you, I love & respect Dave. I was friends with X in 1979-1981. Never missed a show. Flew to NYC cuz so proud excited they were booked there alongside Go Go's. Sure I saw Germs, Black Flag, Plugs, Alley Cats, & every other but X was it for me. Thought for sure they'd rise to super stardom especially after Manzarek's attachment. Just recently after 40 yrs randomly cyber met 2 rock solid Denim Co. dudes who happen to currently be good friends of John's. That Dave's related to Don Bonebrake is just further evidence that Grohl is a supreme being that's either connected to everyone or connects everyone. One of the greatest, sweetest that's ever walked the earth. Or drove a van around it. But with all this due, I'd like to find out why Dave, Noviselic & Violet cover it vs X? Dave has real-world integrity so I'm guessing X didn't want to perform Nausea themselves. Stay living everyone.
