If Emmett hit the water first and the fan fell on top of his head, such an injury could have been caused by the blades of the fan.
horrible
@@samjam6989 That's what I'm hoping is that they did most of the mutilation after he was long gone or knocked out. The gin fan and decomposition of his body in the murkey waters probably made his disfigured face worse.
Disgustingly morbid what those men did to that poor child !, pure evil , so sad on what Emmett , his mom and loved ones endured !, Rest In Peace beautiful child of god !, 😞🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Little Emmett didn't deserve to be kidnapped killed & thrown in the river.
Very Strong !,🙏🏾🙏🏾
A very brave lady, full of grace and dignity. Too say sorry, it seems so bloody useless. Too much of this is ordinary in the south.
Bryant gave store credit to a man for information on Emmett.
The man's name is probably available online.
Maurice Wright
@@mark9531 wow, his own cousin??
@@gildedheist It must be understood, though, that Roy Bryant, William Milam, and their lynch party kidnapped, tortured, killed and threw Emmett's lifeless body over the Black Bayou Bridge.
The lynch mob is responsible for Emmett's death. Not Maurice Write
However, Maurice Wright was detached from the family. He moved to California where he succumb to alcoholism and mental illness. He died from his alcoholism, homeless and alone.
She was such a strong women.
I wonder why she is calling her uncle Moses right instead of clarifying he is her uncle I hope they are ok
My God !!! that was beyond evil, those racists devil's will pay for there evil deeds, infact they're paying right now, burning in hell, and that old lying bat will get hers real soon, hell will be her portion as well. that was pure evil
These people were inhumane...after their death ,what do you think, what will happen to their souls??!!...this also includes Carolyn Bryant who's still living on this earth!!
I don't understand y couldn't they bring these people to justice n committed to prison or death , back in the 70's 80's or 90's or before they died. Can u imagine facing the king of gods the creator n him asking what have u done with the life i gave you.
Many people have asked the same questions and you have to wonder why weren't they punished?? I grew up in Clarksdale Mississippi, which is about a 30 minute drive from Money where everything happened and I can tell you, Mississippi was not very progressive even when I was growing up in the 80s!!! I graduated from high school in 1994, and we still had separate proms, one for the black kids and one for the whites...in the 1990s!! So to answer your question, very little was going to be done to those animals back then!! J.W. Milam died in 1980 of cancer, and Roy Bryant died in 1994 of cancer. Another brother, Leslie Milam, who participated in Emmett's murder died in 1974. His wife said he made a deathbed confession that he was involved in the kidnapping and murder, and it had bothered him for years, and he wanted to get it off his chest before he died
Heartbreaking my goddddd 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
I am physically sick! I hope Mr Lloyd’s death continues to raise awareness. If he was violating the law so be it but it certainly did NOT deserve the treatment he received and especially a death sentence!
I’m so fucking angry i Cant deal with this 😔😔😔
I am crying now! Black Lives Matter!!!!
i get what your saying but All lives Matter.
@@1998gst4611 Yes, we ALL MATTER!
@@1998gst4611- If you get what she's saying then why correct it? Certainly all lives matter, but for so long black lives did not matter. Hence the phrase "Black Lives Matter".
@@1998gst4611 In this case that happened in 1950's, black lives didnt matter during those times. I mean if I was a black man living in the deep south amongst whites, it would be similar to Jews living amongst the Nazi's in Poland back in 1940's. During those times black men in south were equivalent to Jews in Poland. Meaning every day was about life or death and no justice was served as black killing was normal during those times. It is the very reason that black lives matter slogan came about because in all honestly I could not imagine myself in their shoes.
@@tbwms3243 WELL SAID 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 🙌
