Forgive me for correcting you, but it is Tisas, Ti-sas. Not Tias. Sas. In Turkey they pronounce it with an h sound-Tishash. Do a RUclips search for Tisas factory tour. It’s a very interesting video. Good test on the gun. Basic functionality is the most important concern.

The Tisas stingray is a great firearm in my opinion it was around 500 dollars.

Just bought the sds tisas stingray 1911 .45 acp. Haven't shot it yet can't find one RUclips video about it. So far looks exactly quality. Have a friend that's a gun Smith and he's told me these tisas's are tops quality. Not just for the $$ but the cnc work it's top notch. I've heard the tisas 9mm have feed problems. Glad yours isn't.
I’ve not seen the 45 acp.but the 9m/m I have I’ve not had any issues with it so far.in my opinion you can’t beat the Tisas 1911s either way you look at them.
Can't wait for the Tios review followed by the Primas and Primos review.

Yeah I believe it would be a good edc but I will be doing more testing with it.
@@2Afreedomrange it's a below point of aim but tight grouping clicky clacky pistol, i'm selling mine after i put an adjustable rear sight on it, i can't stand the loose slide to frame fit and i refuse to file down tall front sights, someone needs to tell Tisa's (teesaws) and Girsan to stop putting Eiffel tower sights on their 1911's.

Love this one can’t wait to pick one up.I just noticed something funny,watching this video while my dads started his diesel truck up can’t hear so put closed caption on and with your accent the stuff it types out vs what I know your actually saying is so far off it’s funny.not making fun of the southern accent the caption is lost it says Hornady as horn today.

I told myself I wasn't gonna buy any more cheap pistols. But this has me tempted. Wish it had some checkering, but what can I expect from a sub $600 1911? How good is the fit & finish? Is the slide tight to the frame? Is the extractor pretty flush with the back of the slide? Does it rattle when you shake it? Thanks for the review.
The fit and finish is good the slide is tight and no rattle.
Feel the same about the lack of texture but considering how nice of a pistol this is and the platform its modeled after you could put the money into replacing the MSH with a checkered and having the front strap professionally checkered and you'd still have a bargain of a gun while fixing its few flaws.

I have the Tisas 1911 Stingray Carry in .45 ACP. Love it except for one thing. If I carry it cocked and locked I cannot release the safety with my right thumb when I draw from a holster. The extended speed bump safety prevents me from being able to reach the slide safety with my right (strong side) thumb. It turns into a two-handed operation. The slide safety works well and is not too stiff. It is fine. But that big thumb horn sticking up there prevents me from reaching it with my thumb no matter where I have my hand on the grip. At this point the Stingray is loss to me for a carry gun. It is a lot of fun at the range but I had planned to use it for more than that. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a safe solution to this problem short of getting rid of the Stingray?
Only thing you could possibly do is change out the grip safety.
I got this gun can you tell what rear adjustable sights that are best to use with this gun in specific
I’m using the sight that came with it have no plans of changing them.

Yeah it has the bobtail it’s the same gun as in the other video.
Did tisas send you a cherypicked sample or you bought random?
I bought it random I’ve not got any help with my channel all ammo and guns I’ve paid for out my pocket.
What kind of retention holsters you recommend …?
I just use a good quality leather holster my self.
Will this fit any 1911 holster?
It fits the leather ones I have.

I picked one up for $550 , I love it. Im just having trouble finding some grips that will fit it.

Just picked a .45 acp stingray up for $549. Haven't shot it yet. On the fence about the bobtail. Have a 1911 tisas b full size ordered. Will say the grips on the slide are extremely nice. You could have oil covered fingers and you'll have grip.

I love the tisas 1911’s I have several and all run flawless. Ejection on the stingray seems abit erratic and inconsistent though. Wonder if that can be tuned for more consistency. Thanks for the review
