I know this is an unpopular opinion, but legalizing prostitution might give these women a safer way to "conduct business" and not be susceptible to harm like this.
You are 💯 correct! As of now it is an underground business. We do things sneakily at hotels and this makes for doughy scenarios to happen. However, if it was legal, it would make way for a safer environment and establishments could safely host working girls to conduct adult services.
I agree. Making it illegal won't end it, only make it worse. They have to hide and do it somewhere outside or climb in the car with a stranger and go to his place where anything can happen. Often, people will offer to protect them but they'll end up taking advantage of them, keeping the money for themselves and force them to work harder or do things they don't want to, to make even more money...
It's legal here in Australia and I've never seen one working the streets. I'm sure there's a few who do it illegally but pretty much they work from brothels where they are safer and tested for STDs It's not controversial it's stupid to criminalise it.
@AdmiringEarth-lm5fh you've never seen any walking the streets because it's illegal. Prostitution in Australian is legal but every state has different rules like some states brothels are illegal and I think in all states you can't be walking the streets advertising yourself. So basically Prostitution is legal but walking the streets as a Prostitute is illegal. And if you actually believe sex workers don't have STDs you're extremely niave. For starters herpes isn't classed as an STD so when anybody gets an STD test herpes is not included in the test unless you specifically ask for a herpes test.

No shit... how does a COP not lawyer up? They're telling you that you're their #1 suspect. @mennoknight78 nah.. that's not how that works. Not getting a lawyer doesn't make you look more innocent, that's a trap people fall for. ANYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU. Cops will talk you in circles until you fuck up. If you are being questioned in relation to a crime, innocent or guilty, say nothing. get that lawyer in there. Even if you are dead to rights guilty, then catching you in lies make it worse in the end.. even innocent people have been falsely accused and even convicted for crimes they did not commit. Investigators will twist your words if they catch you with even a small, accidental inconsistency. Not lawyering is the dumbest thing you can do.
They probably rarely do! I don’t know how long this suspect has been getting away with killing, but his 2-3 years “on the force” have assured him that they’re not “after him,” that quite a number of them feel the same way he does about Nonwhite women, and, that in all probability, those working in that line aren’t even likely to be missed. Had this lady’s mother NOT reported her as missing within 2-3 days, he most likely would’ve remained unsuspected, uncharged, and still “in” on any n-word jokes told at his job. It’s so sad that a little girl lost her mother. Good on these police getting this creep off the streets. If anyone has been following the many messes out of Massachusetts State Patrol and Norfolk County, MA, it’s been refreshing watching these detectives investigate and interview a fellow cop. This is how it’s supposed to be done. I am so tired of corruption in police departments. I’m glad these detectives didn’t stop looking because of the fact that their primary suspect was a cop. They also didn’t brush the murder of a sex worker under the rug. When a small town Georgia police department is doing a better job than the gigantic and well funded MSP, they need a complete overhaul of the department in MA.
Agreed. In all too many cases, the victim being a sex worker downgrades the investigation because of judgemental attitudes, and the prime suspect being a cop is often enough to get it completely brushed under the carpet. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but legalizing prostitution might give these women a safer way to "conduct business" and not be susceptible to harm like this.
Can't have that, it might actually improve lives. Trafficking is a result of the illegality of sex work but no one talks about it.
I'm sure there's a few who do it illegally but pretty much they work from brothels where they are safer and tested for STDs
It's not controversial it's stupid to criminalise it.

There's plenty of evidence against you... as a cop, you ought to know that there's absolutely 0 benefit in answering questions without a lawyer.. innocent or guilty, there's no benefit to you whatsoever. It always baffles me how the biggest trend in these videos is people yapping their asses off to the cops without lawyering up.. but a cop doing it is the dumbest of them all.
They still would've found all the evidence they needed at the house and had enough for the warrant.
Well, to be fair, if he'd lawyered up immediately people would have said 'If he's got nothing to hide, then why doesn't he answer some simple questions? Why doesn't he want to help his colleagues? VERY suspicious....'

This is EXACTLY what I was thinking about.
Agreed. In all too many cases, the victim being a sex worker downgrades the investigation because of judgemental attitudes, and the prime suspect being a cop is often enough to get it completely brushed under the carpet.

I really like the 3D animations these true crime channels are starting to use. It really helps paint the picture of what really happens. Instead of story telling you get an actual visual
Yeah, or having everything all blurred out like we're all kids!
Yeah, and it's so much more informative than looking at a blurred-out video like we're all kids. Great job!
Yeah, kids!
Well i could paint the picture with words
Prayers for the social worker and first officer in the scene 🙏🏼All great police involved with this case and all tragedies 😢 and a special prayer for the families that lose their love ones to horrific crimes ❤❤❤❤🙏🏼
What’s crazy I grew up with this guy. We’d play football with other friends and go to cicis every Sunday, when we heard the news we were all shocked because he lived in an extremely strict Pakistani Muslim household and the fact that he dumped the body near a friend’s house we were disgusted.
Has his age been misrepresented? It looks as though he was born in 1990.
@@sroberts605 this video is old (2014) but he was 22-23 at the time of his arrest
Extremely strict… thats why he was paying for sex right?
@@MsNoPixel yes literally I remember his mother coming to my house and using my fathers phone to call him (he was ignoring her calls) and she cussed him out in both English and her native language because he left the house without washing the dishes lmao
Since when did Georgia have Pakistanis????
The real culprit here is whatever genius engineers are deciding to keep making Elm Streets that are isolated small town roads to nowhere. Freddie Kruger literally owns every Elm Street so why do we continue to feed him souls?
Agreed!
Lol? 💀💀💀
He obviously doesn't think that laws apply to him, as a police officer.
He's quite offended at the idea that he might be accused of prostitution, because he doesn't want that on his record, although he openly admitted to it to 'the boys'. He knows it's against the law but doesn't know what the police stance is about that for officers. As if he assumes there is special dispensation for officers. Goes without saying.
“Rules for thee, Not for me!”
I mean, there is special treatment for officers even if it's not codified into law. It's not the same in all precincts, but it's distressingly common that cops give their coworkers free passes and not just on jaywalking or littering.
34:21 Bro's been quiet for so long and then all of a sudden drops that line lol
We have no real clue how many of these guys are long term cops.
Same wit politician and people n high position of power

We do actually, we have a very good idea.
Yep! Americas finest. And other countries wonder why American civilians want the right to bear arms...cops are fuckin psychos
FFS -- as a former officer, I am surprised at the quality of people that are getting hired these days. SMH
They do not offer alot of money. The risk vs. the reward is off the charts. I have friends that left a career in the p.d. It is very sad. 😢
I make more than a cop. Way more. They don't have anyone to hire so they recruit
A few things yall got wrong...
This was in 2014, not 2016. He wasn't trying to go to Cancun. He was trying to go to Monterrey. This was a stopover to India. It's Norcross, not North Cross.
Ha, right. -North Cross- Norcross, GA
And the final slide showing his rap sheet. The spelling makes me sad.
And according to their map, New York is now in Pennsylvania 3:31
AI content lol
Holy sh*+
Ai can make content now?
He didnt care so much that he left right outside in the opening still burning. Easily visible from the street. Left a shell casing, went to a motel with caneras, left evidence in the trash. He just acted like she wasnt human and he did nothing wrong. Psychopath
She was almost free to go legit! All she needed was 3 DAYS!!! New job plus social worker to help with the transition to living a legal lifestyle. Poor lady. Sex work is difficult. Unregulated industry leads to human trafficking, all kinds of violence, and drug dealing. Many people don't get the chance to be free of street life. She was soooo close 😭
Not victim blaming but there are millions of single parents that don't need ro turn to prostitution.
Feel like she'd still be alive if her profession wasn't illegal or stigmatized the way it is over there.
@@confusedbadger6275 Ok, so what is your point? Why are you bringing that up? Who said otherwise?
@@confusedbadger6275 You are victim blaming smh. Like you're the only person who knows that not all single parents prostitute. Thank god you let everyone know!!
@@confusedbadger6275how do you know this. Do you know them?
