I think you'll find all your dark purple and red flowers will pop with the white alyssum; it's one of my all-time favorites. Thanks for the heads-up about finding the heuchera seeds, and good luck with the cup-and-saucer vine!
Thanks Ali! I am excited to grow more of the white this year. Some of the purple self seeded this season, and some of it is still alive! I think the snow is insulating it a bit. We'll see how long it lasts!
I have alyssum mix, cosmos mix and a few packets of white snapdragons, foxglove, astrantia and orlaya. My flower bed is in deep shade and white flowers lighten it up substantially. Palace purple heuchera grows easily from seed and reseeds itself after her second year. I always gather the seedlings and keep them in one container for a year so they establish roots.
Oh, wonderful, thank you for the tips! I thought about saving seed from some of the heuchera I had, but I didn't think it was an easy one to start from seed. Now I can't wait to try! Your garden sounds lovely!
You are just delightful to listen to and watch. Made my day. I may be biased...🤔
Haha, thank you! 💜💜💜
I think the dark orange would look great with the purples and blues!
Me too! I'll have to find just the right flower to add in that color...

I think you're right, that makes sense! The purple can be hard to see sometimes, but the bright white will look so good!
My alyssum white grew great 👍 the purple not so much but I’ll try again. Some awesome choices hope they all do well. Have a fab week, Ali 🌞🥶🇨🇦

❤Alyssum! Mine were crazy last year!
Love it! It's such an easy one to start from seed too!

Absolutely, it's a top 5 for me!
