Greetings from North London. I have the th.3 Sabrent Rocket Nano 2TB with my M1 MacMini and its perfect. Running FinalCut projects directly from it with no issues or delays at all. Its perfect
not sure if this is the right place to ask. is there a way to connect sata to thunderbolt? e.g. transferring video from wd blue internal ssd (i.e. atmos ninja v) to ipad pro (i.e. 2021 ipad pro m1) to edit via luma. any ideas? suggested tools/resources? if not, anyone among the community here have insight? forgive naivety here, i'm still learning. thanks. -colton

Nice work with the slider B-roll. My favourite is still the T5 as it’s so much more portable for me and also has that longevity and durability that you want in a portable SSD. I will probably consider the T7 in the future though!
I'm looking at the sabrent rocket xtrem tb3 on Amazon, a lot! It's the TLC version. I guess it's the same speeds you got on your M1. Definitely good to see your experience
I maxed out the internal storage given the high cost of thunderbolt drives and poor experience with a sabrient drive in the past. Given the issues people are having with external storage, and my t7 maxing out at just over 600, I am glad I did.

I'm looking for an external drive that fits in an enclosure with SD card reader and other ports, that will be super fast and useable with both: the M1 Mac Mini (which I own) AND the 2020 or the 2021 iPad Pro (which I will be purchasing). Specifically used for photo/video editing and Time Machine backups. Suggestions on SSD/enclosure combo would be really appreciated!

I don’t need the portability, but would like it to be compact, I’m hoping to get either a 2TB or 4TB SSD for the user folders and the internal SSD for the OS and apps. Thanks in advance!

Looking for a hard drive minimum 2T for my M1 MacBook air, gonna use it primarily for editing video through. Which one is the best one? why no Samsung X5? btw it's 1900 write and 2574 read on my M1.
