That’s the exact same tool that Oriellys has and I couldn’t get a good grip it kept slipping. Used the wrench 🔧 end closest to nut but kept slipping. I read all the instructions and locked the wrench end piece tightly with the locking mechanism. I ended just buying the inner tie rod . I was using it at junkyard but like I said it kept slipping..

does not fit VW ag group cars, porsche, audi, vw. I used a big crescent wrench (400 mm) after trying this even with its 11 dies/u things/inserts/whatever . I found the everforce tool kind of iffy even for harbor freight tool quality - less than the pittsburg brand these days. I am sure if it fits, it will make the job easier. Best way to check is look at the replacement part, grab the interchangeable U thingies. And make sure there is absolutely no play on the new part before purchasing the new part and starting the job. If no play, go for it. But the last thing you want to do is have the steering undid and have to figure out how to complete the job. My crescent wrench has a bigger foot print and worked on an audi S5. If you have room, you can also use a pipe wrench and that will fit the really big ones.

I’ve also used crescent wrenches and if used with enough room to prevent stripped and are able to get enough torch work just fine

I don’t think it is junk unless there is play in the joint.

For some reason my tie rod head is too big to get a tool on, I have this tool and the one with three heads and on this tool, the shaft is too small for my tie rod head. I cant get the shaft to touch the adapter. SMH

@@TyAlmeida97 05 Durango. Finally got it with a pipe wrench. It was hard because the torsion bar is right there in the way,

What is the purpose of that red boot on the head of the Inner TR? Thank you for the good film.

These tools suck. They always slip. I’ve never had one work. Just use a pipe wrench

At 08:03 .. Leaving that cable tie(zip tie) like that is so Dangerous for the next guy to cut himself .. Rather leave the cable tie uncut if you are not prepared to cut it correctly without leaving that sharp edge like that .. (even if that was cut there at 90 degrees at that length, still No okay) .. :( Cut it correctly or leave it be ..
