- For those having issues with the "Get my payment" site, the IRS is working on an update In this video I will go over the latest updates on the stimulus check.

For those who used Turbo tax, H&R block or any other tax preparer agency,
"When some taxpayers file their tax return, they may choose an option available from their tax preparer or software provider to help them pay their fees, get their refund more quickly or even load the refund onto a direct debit card. This group of different products is referred to as refund settlement products. In these situations, taxpayers may:
Use a banking product to help them complete the tax filing transaction, sometimes referred to as a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL) or a Refund Anticipation Check (RAC).
Choose to have their tax refund loaded onto a debit card provided by a variety of groups in the tax and financial communities.
When you filed your tax return, if you chose a refund settlement product for direct deposit purposes, you may have received a prepaid debit card. In some cases, your Economic Impact Payment may have been directed to the bank account associated with the refund settlement product or prepaid debit card.
If the refund settlement product or the associated account is closed or no longer active, the bank is required to reject the deposit and return it to the IRS. The “Get My Payment” app will be updated once the returned payment to the IRS is processed. Timing of this process depends on several variables, including when and how the payments are rejected and returned to the IRS, when “Get My Payment” updates, and when taxpayers check the tool.
Once the returned payment is processed by the IRS, the payment will automatically be mailed to the address on the 2019 or 2018 tax return, or the address on file with the U.S. Postal Service - whichever is more current, and the status in Get My Payment will update accordingly.
The IRS also noted that there was a reporting error that started showing up in recent days on Get My Payment, which inaccurately indicated rejected payments were being sent back to the same taxpayer account a second time. They are actually being mailed to the taxpayers. The IRS has quickly taken steps to correct this reporting error. Get My Payment will be updated starting Tuesday, April 21 to reflect that the taxpayer’s payment has actually been mailed; not rerouted to a closed bank account."

I put my dd info on the site the 15th, and a few days later I was hit with a status saying it’ll be mailed the 24th. I received it today.

I updated my banking info on the portal Wednesday the 15th and it still just says I'm eligible will update payment date. At this point I wish I would just get a check instead🤦♀️

Yea said same thing for me as well in which the dd info they had was from a turbo tax prepaid debit card so I had to add that because today I checked and said they were mailing me a Damm check on May 1st lol....so I'm sure had to do with the turbo tax hr block problems they been having....also check is being mailed to last known address which is from my 2018 taxes in which I don't even live there no more dammit...so will have to go to post office and put a hold on my mail if I want it within the first 10 days of May.... Jesus Christ I wish they would just deposit the money like they said they would at first but now it's changed to being mailed yuck...

Rodas Yonass. I did my taxes through Jackson Hewitt I inputted my direct deposit info for my regular bank account on Tuesday 4-14-2020 still no payment date but it does display my last 4 digits of account number. How long do think until I get a payment date?

Who's next in late April, early May
In late April, money will be sent to Social Security beneficiaries who did not file tax returns in 2018 or 2019. That includes adult Social Security retirement, survivor and disability insurance beneficiaries who typically have their monthly payments put directly in their bank accounts. Almost 99% of beneficiaries receive their monthly payments through direct deposit, according to Congress.
Meanwhile, all adult SSI beneficiaries can expect their payments by early May. The money will be sent in the same way those individuals typically receive their benefits.
"Weekly direct deposits and paper checks will continue until all individuals receive their rebates," the Congressional timeline states.

According to today's The Hill article the IRS spokeswoman said that the direct deposit of $1200 stimulus is expected by 04/29 for Social security and early 05/2020 for ssi.

@@Rugratz I hope another is coming down the pipeline. Many different democratic congressmen have written about 4 different proposals along with cosupportors. With these proposals that should be debated by early to mid 05/2020 are $2k per month up to 6 or 1 year. Another poses 1k a month. And another suggest free rent or mortgage for extended amount time with a relief fund for lenders and landlords.

I provided my bank info at midnight on April 16, when 'get my payment' went live. My profile message says that I am eligible for stimulus payment and the site will update once a payment date is available. It has said that for 9 days. I find that troubling because the FAQs say once you provide your bank info, you will be paid in a couple of days.

I think your right because, I submitted my information on 4/14/20 through the non filers and immediately received email confirmation saying my return was successfully accepted. since then the get my payment status has only said payment status unavailable. however, I just checked now and it says the information is incorrect and to check it again. As of Thursday night, 4/23/20, IRS's "Get My Payment" status is now working. If you filed your 2018 return and still haven't filed your 2019 return, it should work for you. You should be able to enter your bank information, your AGI and taxes you owed in 2018 for verification.
No, it isn't working. Entered info on 4/15. 10 days later no payment date. That qualifies as "not working."
All non filers we have finally have some information I checked and it says payment will be made to my bank account on file finally they been working on the get my payment so I think they fixed it so you should check also 👍

I have what seems to be a common problem that has never been addressed..... 1) I got a direct deposit refund in 2018, but owed money in 2019, which was automatically drawn from my account. 2) I read that b/c I owed in 2019, I would need to enter my bank info. 3) When the Get My Payment tool was up the morning of Apr 15th, I used it and they did indeed want my bank information & I had to confirm my identify with my 2019 AGI, which I did. 4) My information was accepted and approved that same day. 5) Now, every day I check, I see the exact same message. I’m eligible for the payment, the site will be updated when they get a payment date for me, it will be deposited into the account number that I gave them, and to check back tomorrow. Except..... for 10 days now, there is NO payment date! None! Nada! Stuck in limbo it seems..... why isn’t mine being processed and why are there so many other people making the same comments, in the same situation????

I check my bank everyday no deposits and my bro and mom are on SS and it’s pudding us off
Good morning, the first roll out the payment status stated it was direct deposit to an account that was closed. The second roll out 4/20/20 payment status stated that direct deposit to the same closed account for 4/24/20? Why would the IRS keep sending to a closed account?
It's a glitch the irs said they are mailing it
Thank you. Your info seems the best to me. I'm SSA retired and have always had direct deposit. Still haven't received stimulus. It seems like it should show up this last week of April. I've heard that some people who have SSA direct deposit have received checks in the mail. Don't know what to expect.

OMG! I posted Fri that I updated my info on the first and for 10 days, crickets.... but I got a date today!!! April 30th!!! I hope the rest of you who had the same issue got your date today, Sunday, April 26th, too! Good luck!!!

The get my payment tool has updated..........My friend draws SSI and has only been drawing for 3 months......For her it changed today from we dont have enough information to determine you eligibility to.........""""You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.
We will deposit your payment to the bank account below""""......................Im on SSDI and have been for 2 years and mine still says Not enough info to determine your eligibility...PSSS.The informed delivery showed nothing for my son but his check came today..

I did my taxes on 1/24/19 I used H R block have not seen any money if you call them they put you hold for a1 hour hold went to web site and have not been able to get on it at all

I talked to TURBOTAX customer service agent today and they explained that the IRS didn't want to pay the fees for turbotax to process the checks and direct deposit the money into the customers bank account so now anyone who had their tax refund fees taken out of their taxes will get paper checks...
🤔🤔🤔honestly I think the consumers should have had a choice in whether they would pay the fee out of their stimulus checks so that TURBOTAX could then deposit the checks into their bank accounts but once again we as a people are not in control of our money the government is🙅♀️🙅♀️🙅♀️and as much money as we pay in fees to file our taxes and especially in a crisis...there shouldn't be any fees for stimulus checks to be deposited...MAKE IT MAKE SENSE🤔🤔🤔

I read on that website that if you had your preparation fee taken out at the time of filing, and recieved your refund on the H&R BLOCK Emerald Card, that you WOULD NOT be recieving the stimulus onto that card. But I was able to add my bank information on the IRS site and get a message saying when it is time my stimulus would be deposited into my bank account....I still haven't received anything lol.
Entered DD info on 4/15. Still no payment date as of 4/25. Should I expect I will get a check instead of direct deposit? Doesn't make sense. I'm eligible. I paid what I owed for last year. I don't get it!
I still haven't received the first payment! I log in and the IRS system says I'm supposed to received my direct deposit 4/24! But I haven't received nothing! The system didn't allow me to update any information. Im just shock that we haven't received anything!!

Yea so everyone who got that message got a check and if they got it before the 24th the date on the checks are post dated for the 24th.
I got a weird email from my usps account about me having missing mail I didn't report any missing but if they found some and if it was my check bc other people like me have got theirs when it was supposed to be mailed the 24th that would be crazy right?

Still haven't gotten the first one. I still have no answer. I filed and got my taxes done with HR block on the emerald card and also advanced funds. I filed on the irs site on the 15th my DD and got a message that I am eligible for the check and it will be put in my account once they get a date. Well that is the same message I get now almost 2 weeks later.
Can't get a hold of irs now hrblock. Will I ever get the DD?

I receive Survivor's direct deposit through SSI. I did receive a paper check yesterday. I have children, but I didn't receive any Stimulus money for them. Why isn't the IRS trying to fix this situation quickly?. Also, how can we further try to pursue it for ourselves?
