      @@Tierone1337 I train everyday, had covid at the very beginning and got natural immunity after. No vaccines. I am at least 2 decades older than him, little stronger but also 30 to 40 LBS heavier body weight . Most likely he got vaccinated and while I do not want to start any form of argument about that, vaccines do not make covid less harmful the way I see around me with people. I see people with natural immunity do same level training and many others vaccinated with less gym time and /or serious strength loss. I socialize a lot and after the first time I got sick over 2 years ago, I never got sick again.

    On a side not I was curious if you’ve ever thought of getting blood work to test your test and hormone levels, and if in the future you have any plans of looking into HRT as those levels eventually decline. I’m only curious considering your bench is so crazy right now, I wonder how your recovery and strength would be affected.

    Go to a real gym and get a coach. You've come a long way training by yourself, but you're leaving programming and hypertrophy on the table. A decent gym would have a supportive bench to plant your traps, sticky surface to better use leg drive, and an environment to get better. Anyone would be more than happy to help you. Being the biggest fish in your gym is hurting you. Look to be he weakest in the room.

    • @fifthfangofmetsudo

      @snorlaxcom 2 года назад

      @@fifthfangofmetsudo you don't need a pending meet to get a coach. A coach could help pinpoint what is upping his injury incidence and make a program to address his lifestyle. It would fast track his progress or progress he would otherwise never see.

    I had COVID last month, and was out of the gym for about two weeks. My squat used to be my best lift, but it seems to have suffered the most. Not sure if u remember me but i took ur bench stuff and tried to do it with SBD. still working wonderfully. managed to hit 220kg (485lb) deadlift before new years :). well i try to do it but i'm also doing higher frequency so can't stick to doing SBD every other day for every lift with the percentages so occasionally switch to do other work. gonna focus on squat and bench for a bit. trying to get atleast 315 bench as my next goal. like 120kgs right now, which is like 265lbs i think.

    Hey! Yes, after I had COVID I had several months of absolute exhaustion and a pretty severe brain-fog where I'd mess up simple tasks. I would also note that my ability to focus and motivate has decreased severely but that may be unrelated. Shortness of breath and rapid fatigue were very common symptoms for 2-3 months afterwards. The fatigue lasted longer. This was with the delta variant, my second infection with the Omnicron variant was last month and I have much less severe effects. Perhaps more fatigue.

    I think part if it is you're just psyching yourself out and over-thinking it, which is something I've noticed that you tend to do. A little bit of self-doubt can have a huge affect on your work outs, so thinking something like "my wrists are sore, I don't know if I can hit heavy weights today" has already impacted your workout.

      I understand but I think it’s more of him just trying to be as humble as possible. When you can life 3 times ur weight it gets into your head some guys act like clowns , he’s just a humble apple 🍎
